The app will not run for me It crashes within seconds of launching the app     Crashes within 2 Seconds of Opening App

It asked to send a message to invite all my friends contacts and facebook and I hit cancel The app did it anyway Now all my friends are asking me about this app and I told them all not to download it     SPAMMED ALL MY FRIENDS

Highlight is the kind of product you stick with and its value grows exponentially 55 a fantastic app                 Well made and going to get bigger and more useful

I posted a comment asking for good places to eat when I was traveling and got replies telling me about delicious places Different from other apps with paid marketing from restaurants this was real people near me                 Awesome

Update There just arent enough people using this app to justify having it on my iPhone Furthermore they recently pulled Highlight from the App Store for weeks with no explanation to users Tweets and emails went unanswered Highlight is easily one of the most interesting apps that Ive used within the past year As Paul mentioned in his TC interview the way in which we bring new interesting people into our lives is rather random and very inefficient Highlight offers a solution to said problem by surfacing intriguing people around you as you go about your day to day that you otherwise may have never met Im currently in a small city of around 170000 people and seven people popped up today in less than 30 minutes Its so exciting to see that people are downloading and installing this app Highlight improves battery efficiency with each and every iteration This latest build sips power so slowly that I hardly notice it Welcome to the future           Innovative app in such an exciting space

Like others have said the concept is cool but considering they dont have a way to close your account you seem to be locked in forever Still get emails from them that someone sent me a message It shouldnt take me hours of searching to try and find how to end all ties with an app     No way to close your account

Its annoing Developers did not gave the sign up without Facebook option     You can not do anything without Facebook

Highlight really helped me in my job hunt I moved across country to a new city and didnt have many connections for companies I wanted to apply to I used Highlight to meet up with people who work at companies Im interested in Just chatting with them many of them are surprised anyone would reach out to them in this way I was even able to drop in at a companys office and meet some of the people there People always say that networking is the way to get jobs but going to random events people are usually not open to talking to someone they dont know about jobs there Its also hard to find the right person who will respond to an email or schedule a cup of coffee Highlight helped start a conversation with a relevant person and was way better than sending the usual LinkedIn message that often gets ignored Its like more effective business networking done in a friendlier way                 Great for job hunting

It sounds like an interesting concept but failed to deliver I was scared at the amount of data it asked me to share from my Facebook profile There was only one person nearby but I didnt really get the difference with just walkin to that person and say hiboring and invasive app     Boring and invasive App

This app is creepy I get Likes on a post I never posted and from people I dont even know Shares too much info without my consent I deleted this from my phone because I got creeped out and was still receiving email notifications I finally figured out how to delete my account its super hidden but to be honest Im not sure it actually deleted my account When I hit Delete account it just logged me out I just want out And I dont want anything to do with this app     I dont trust this app and I dont want anything to do with it

Fantastic app Heres a real life example of how Highlight helped me meet new and interesting people I turned this app on once when I was in a coffee shop It said there were some people close by but one of them was really near I decided to contact that person just to say hi because I was curious Turns out that person was at the back of the coffee shop I walked over and introduced myself and we had an awkward laugh Technology is amazing Having location on all the time is fine because I have other apps that use my location and Apple manages that well There is more battery drain than if you didnt run it but Im a person who likes to use these kinds of services Its been improving with every release along with iOS Theres a lot of potential in this app Im excited to see where it goes Pros Incredibly interesting to see people around me Makes it easy to meet new people Fun to communicate with and addicting to check at new locations Cons Not always sure how to interact with people This stuff is so new Needs more options for managing your profile photos Bottom Line Revolutionary Plain and simple                 The only review you need to read

Why do I need to have a Facebook acc to sign up I hate Facebook thats why I deleted my profile from it but I want to sign up to this app with Google or email        Authorization

I really love using Highlight I have had some really great chats with people I wouldnt normally meet Especially because I work in a city far from where I grew up its great for striking up conversations and connecting with people outside of work                 Awesome

The app itself is glitchy The search engine is useless Aside from that it sent a text to my entire address book on my phone telling them to download it which caused so much aggravation in my life I will never trust or use this app again     Dont get started with this app

Besides the people liking a post I made a year ago I deleted my account because I was tired of the emails and it said it deleted it butstill getting those emails about someone liking my posts Apparently I have two accounts because today it was ME who it recommended as a friend Its just terrible Let is leave if we want to leave Ive tried I unsubscribing three times and it never works Broken software Poor mechanics Whatever Just let me out     Worst App

Ill admit the concept of Highlight is probably more open than Im ready for But theres too much interaction happening for stuff I didnt do For example I get a notification that sonso likes my post What post Havent posted anything recently Then I try to see who liked it and they all come back as Unknown user THEN this is the worse part I have 2 twitter accounts They are separate but Highlight doesnt care Instead of linking tweets from the account thats like my FB account it links to both one which is a separate identity I have NO idea how this thing determines what it does or what Ive done and no way to know how to log out I feel like the people who are liking what I do arent really liking anything and that their profiles are being used in ways they dont know about Which means my profile could be used in ways I dont really know about This will sound harsh but at the moment it feels more like a virus than a social network     Haphazard Intrusive

It is a great networking app It is pretty reliable and does not crash                 Great local networking app

I deleted this app long ago but I keep getting emails saying that I have posted something and someone has commented liked etc I have searched for a way to remove my account and cannot find a thing It is accessing my information from other social accounts where there is no link This is beyond inappropriate and I just want to remove my account I just want out     I cannot find a way to remove my account

I use this app whenever Im bored and want to see the people around me Its pretty fun to use and you feel like youre seeing real people since its their Facebook profile and real names Itd be better if there was a way for me to change my photo without going into Facebook but other than that I like it I get real connections on Highlight with some fascinating people so thats what I like We can send stickers to each other or just chat but Id like to be able to send photos and chat that way too Hope something like that is coming soon                 Great for bus rides

The title says it all Highly addicting Totally brilliant                 Perhaps my favorite app of all time
