I have emailed the developers several times now explaining how the game does not follow the rules of tennis and how savvy players are able to cheat the system Nothing has been fixed Instead they instituted the requirement of purchasing these energy drinks in order for a player to be able to actually try and return angled shots And naturally the energy a player is required to use runs out now twice as fast causing you to have to constantly purchase more and more Come on Just charge a buck for the game itself and stop the nickel and diming for a game that is already as badly flawed as this one is This app could be so much better with minimal improvements to make it fair and fun for all Flaws continue and now you have to spend money to play

As the title says the game has potential to be amazing However it has its share of problems There have been countless times where the my opponents serves have been clearly out yet were counted as in costing me the match The opposite has also been true this also favoring my opponents certain shots Ive hit are counted out when theyre clearly in When it comes to serves lets are counted as in which not only goes against the rules of tennis but is clearly unfair because they cannot be returned There is also the lag element there should be a way where the user has to be connected to wifi so they dont ruin the game for their opponents with poor connection It has potential

I must concur with some of the most recent reviews This has the potential to be a fabulous game However there are still many issues Many drop shots that are clearly in are called out Ball flight can react differently depending on who you are playing There are some angled shots that are impossible to return Win and loss record also seems to change at random Serves that are clearly out are called in I give the game three stars because of its great potential and it is fun But these horrible issues need to be addressed Game play issues
This is such a great app and its a shame that more people dont buy it Please buy this app Very good

When the app is working right it is a lot of fun It does freeze a lot and then scores a quit even though you have not left the game Some games are slower paced than others also which I am sure is a factor of connection speeds and seems to be worse with distant players It is fun to play against people from so many different countries Fun but lock a lot

If you want to play Tennis on your iDevice go with the Hit Tennis 3 the multiplayer version is terrible So slow and unresponsive and running just to one side uses up most of your energy points Half the balls go into the net or wind up passing you by because the game didnt register your swing Hit Tennis 3 on the other hand is quite enjoyable There are a bunch of different characters at varying skill levels and many upgrades to buy net play and lobbing with in game monies There are tournaments and special events that allow you to win trophies and cups Wait until they can improve on the multiplayer version before you sink any time into it Hit Tennis 3not MP
This is such a fun gameespecially while on maternity leave I have a lot of time just lounging around and I couldnt think of a better way to get through some of those long nights with a newborn So funwhile on maternity leave

The game is a good first effort to port the single player game to a multiplayer option The game however has a lot of glitches and inconsistent behaviors that interfere with gameplay at crucial moments Still a lot of issues to be worked out

Hit Tennis is a great series the version before multiplayer had solid fast intuitive responsiveness This version should have been awesome but its molasses slow for people used to the previous titles It also seems to incorrectly register taps quite often Further it maddeningly shows you how to serve EVERY TIME even if youve served many times before This is likely just covering up the background loading of netcode or something but surely it would be better to just indicate that I dont know if mobile connections are quite up to the challenge of this concept yet Great idea flawed execution

Theres a reason tennis rules dont allow lets to count as in on a serve yet this game permits it I wont be playing anymore until it is fixed Unscrupulous players are gaming the system Allows lets on serves be called in
