This seems like a great place to give homeway and Vrbo reviews About the apps Their apps are so bad and the mobile site so poorly developed that you have to search down 15 items to get the current app The homeaway phone rep will give you the link but be warned you still need to switch over to the App Store to see it after you get a blank browser page The current app for owners is called owner and about 1 4 way down the list You are forced to uses this as homeaway locks your mobile access and requires app update from just a few weeks back Do not try the main app again Just results in another luck out I am recommending all users go offline with billing to protect yourself from yapstone fraud You will be sorry if you wait for a guest to cancel at the last minute losing thousands in lost reservation fees Homeaway will NOT protect or cover you in these losses even though they now charge near double the fees Check it out google yapstone and homeaway to see how little support you get as a owner with a contract during a credit card disputed charge Even when the traveler is in default of contract you lose and homeaway takes money from your account The online billing model is just a new Paypal with less banking laws restrictions ethics Please motivate shared housing site to offer lead services only and remove the cash flow     Homeaway is less an less usable at twice the cost Koiphish3

I agree with all the previous reviewers I received an email suggesting I download this app to get info about a property I am renting The email included an email address date of the rental and a mobile invitation code None of these pieces of information allowed me to log in As I couldn t log in the app is essentially useless     Couldn t even log in PFDunn

Reviewed from the standpoint of a homeowner who rents out a home and using the app to manage our listing Still minor issues and glitches It is fine as a supplemental tool to use to respond to inquiries and check your calendar when you don t have access to the online application but inquiries reservations and payments sections all contain information that conflicts with the actual information e g inquiries show as Unavailable for inquiries that have become confirmed reservations incomplete and inconsistent payment request and paid information         Not ready for prime time Check news daily and quickly

I m not sure why but if you search homeaway in the search box this is the only relevant result This is not for anyone looking to rent a vacation home This is for owners only If you want the correct version go to homeaway s website and click the link for the App Store It will take you to the correct version which seems to be unsearchable     For owners only abbie84

I am giving it one star because I cannot give less This might work on an IPhone but it definitely doesn t on an iPad You cannot use the panoramic view and I couldn t even hide the keyboard I am getting rid of this app asap     Not for iPad Surf2653
