The Hone is now available as a free download on Apple Store for both iPhone and iPad owners.The application is supporting English language. It weighs in at only 4.7 MB to download. The new Hone app version 1.1.1 has been updated on 2014-11-23. The Apple Store includes a very useful feature that will check if your device and iOS version are both compatible with the app. Most iPhone and iPad are compatible. I cant believe I paid for this piece of junk Avoid it at all costs It doesnt work at all The arrows on the screen make no sense and just light up randomly while you are trying to locate whatever you attached the beacon to This is one of the worst apps and concepts Ive bought into in a long time hopefully this will save someone some money and frustration by reading this review Awful
Pairs and connects but even when my keys are 10 feet away the device makes no sound and will not help me find my keys Will try a new battery when I get a chance but so far very disappointed Doesnt work
The app is OK but the device is not loud enough to be easily heard from more than a few feet away especially if it is located inside of a purse or a jacket pocket I had no problem paring it with an iPhone 4S the Bluetooth range however is limited the best Ive gottenline of siteis about 50ft It stopped working altogether at one point and only started up again after removing the battery and reinserting it A great idea but poor implementation
Does work and is a cool concept However no basic tutorial on app use provided Setup tutorial is easy though What is the purpose of the light up arrow Is it decorative or does it serve a purpose Not bad
I was unable to get this device to pair with my iPhone 5 and returned it for a refund Hone will not pair with iPhone
Using the hone I received as being part of the initial fundraising is similar to the game of Hot and Cold with someone who speaks in a nearly silent whisper The vibration and the lights work fine within a 6 range and so long as you know where the Hone is located location is not a problem Very disappointing Bluetooth is terribly underpowered Robust Not at all
Ive had this since the kickstarter project and just tried using it again Battery is dead already just two months after purchasing Its cheaper to buy a half dozen sets of keys and lose all of them Battery life is terrible
It is a great idea but the price for the actual key chain is ridiculous I was excited because I thought Id found the app Id been waiting for and I expected to have to purchase a key chain but 60 for a keychain is unreasonable I would rather spend the extra 15 mins looking for my keys than pay that much for a keychain
Its a great concept and thats why it sells but when I received it I felt like I had been scammed It will not stay connected and after a few tries it completely stopped working Buyer definitely beware Scam
Ive worked with this many ways trying to get it to work consistently No go I usually have to reconnect with Bluetooth and then try to find it Even then it is 50 effective at best Now the battery holder came loose I had so hoped it wasnt a piece of junk Disappointing
