Ive NEVER written reviews for games but this is my first This game is so much fun I love the graphics and its really addicting Well done 5 stars for sure                 Amazing

and it completely slows you down Impossible to come back late in the race Fix it     Rear end a car

This game is so awesome and if you cant decide on buying it I recommend you should The graphics are amazing the cars are stunning and the tracks and areas are one of a kind I also love the throwback style of the game It reminds me of 90s games like Ridge Racer If you want the perfect racing game this is the game for you                 One Of The Best Racing Games Ever

The engine sounds in this game leave a lot to be desired When you pick a car you hear a nice engine roar but during the actual races the engine sounds are pretty bad Also some sound effects like skidding on gravel sound just like white noise The soundtrack does a nice job of masking the poor sound effects but as a racing enthusiast I would really like to see some improvement in the engine sounds It would also be nice to have independent volume controls for music and sound instead of just a onoff switch              Sound effects fall short

From simple controls to a nice array of cars and tracks to in game upgrades its got pretty much everything I want out of a single player game I feel like the AI complaints I see are from people who havent spent that much time with the game It can seem overwhelming at first but Ive been playing for a few weeks now and its not that aggressive once you get better at the game It just takes practice and you get rewarded for getting better                 Best Mobile Racing Game

The 1star rating is solely because this update forced me to delete and reinstall the app due to instacrashing after the update restarting my iPod did not help thus wiping out my progress and forcing me to start over This otherwise is a 5star game but upon seeing there would be fewer speech bubbles now I would be downgrading to 4 stars Heres hoping the developers are more careful in future updates I would hate to see them ruin such an awesome effort like this     Awesome game terrible update

When I first saw this game on the App Store I thought it was just another In App purchase based annoying freemium racing game but I was wrong A must have for all racing fans out there                 The only decent racing game

This game is amazing as soon as you pick it up you get right in too it and have the best time ever im running it on my ipad air 2 ios 902 and it runs so smothly I recomend this to all my friends                 SCORE

graphics are good but some courses race in the rain in darkness in total desert in snow are uninteresting because the graphics arent there The graphics is what makes this game and not the actual racing because the controls are awkward at best Opening scenerace of the golden gates is awesome with bright colors etc Many of the later races coulnt live up to the original and just seem disappointing Ive unlocked all 3 special rewards but the retro mode is ridiculous because of the afore mentioned reason              ok

This is a really great game I love the 16bit graphics and the arcade style racing but the update now gives the game a lower frame rate during races randomly and there is a glitch where when you install an upgrade before you hit next if you tap on any other upgrades to read the description and then hit next the game will install the last one you hit last instead of the one initially installed Otherwise great game and worth the 3 dollars EDIT I forgot to add that all the bonus races always say New even after you played them              One of the best games Ive played

Good game with great art style Maybe a bit faster than games it gets its inspiration from Please allow buttons to be repositioned on screen Especially for iPad Trying to balance an iPad while hitting buttons on the bottom edge is annoying                 Fun game

As far as retroinspired racers go in my opinion Horizon Chase is just the creme off the crop there is just nothing that rivals it The totally 80s radical soundtrack and sound effects the beautiful arcade graphics the fluid gameplay mechanics I just find it all to be a very nostalgic blast from my past These were the games that were always occupied in the arcades convenience stores and skating rinks of my youth The only two minor qualms that I have with this funfilled racer are the infuriating mechanic of slowing down when you rear end another racer and the stupid Connect to Facebook garbage in the menus I honestly cannot remember if your speed was frustratingly halted when you hit a car from behind in gems like Outrun But I do know that that function shouldnt be added to this game for something like realism or anything similar I mean come on this is a tribute to days when there was no realism or accurate physics that was one of the joya of these types of games in my opinion So I wish that slowdown mechanic wasnt part of the game but I guess I can attempt to deal with it But maybe lessen its effect please As far as having that terrible Facebook link in the games menus I mean seriously could that crap take you any further away from the retrothemed nostalgia Thank God Almighty that they didnt have advertising that severe or really at all in games of old I can probably live with the rear ending thing But for the sake of the purity of this game and its integrity as a throwback please please remove that terrible Facebook link in the menu At the very least just hide it away somewhere so that I never have to see it unless I actively look for it Your game appears to have sold well you really dont need to pimp your customers by getting them to advertise your game on Facegarbage Just please remove that eyesore from this otherwise spotless beauty of a game thanks iPad Air 2 iOS 83 Update I also want to add that I think the whole fuel system is out of place in the game as well I find it to be a modern mechanic that really doesnt belong in this type of oldschool racer I know this is a modern take on games like Outrun But all that feature does is add to the frustration of the game I think and while I guess you could say it takes skill to pick up the fuel powerups well I just dont personally care for it I believe if you tweaked and lessened the crashspeedhalting and removed the fuel consumption that this in my opinion would make the game absolutely perfect Just my two cents thanks              I Find It Superior With 2 Minor Issues

Picked up this game on sale for 099 I believe it is regularly 499 and it is certainly worth it at that price This game feels like a modern day Top Gear a game I played a lot of back in the 90s on SNES Great music super fun driving and feels absolutely solid on my Air 2 with iOS 9 My only gripe are the vehicle sounds but its not that big of a deal for me Get this game                 Nostalgia is great but the game is still good

I played this game back when I was on ios 84 and it ran really smoothly like maybe 60fps smooth but now when I updated my IPad mini 3 to the current IOS 9 it ran poorly on my machine its now sluggish I dont why this happened please update the app or something cuz I love your game        Is it me or did ios 9 ruined this
