The Houston 311 is now available as a free download on Apple Store for both iPhone and iPad owners.The application is available in multiple languages: English, Spanish. It weighs in at only 6.0 MB to download. The new Houston 311 app version 3.1.3 has been updated on 2014-11-24. The Apple Store includes a very useful feature that will check if your device and iOS version are both compatible with the app. Most iPhone and iPad are compatible. Every time I try to report something I just get an error and I am unable to submit the report     Nothing but bugs unusable Darian.B

First of all you have to sign up and log in to report a missing stop sign Kind of destroys the immediacy of reporting something It s easier and quicker to call 311 than to use this app Then there was the news report that on average it takes three days for them to respond to something reported from the 311 app Boy doesn t that sound like typical government efficiency So if you have time to waste use this app Sign up Make an account Login Report the problem Sit on your thumb and rotate Then maybe three days down range someone will respond to the issue It s quicker and less of a hassle to dial 311 and be done with it     Stoooooopid Uselesssss Frustrating HeebieNoJeebie

It works okay but like the Houston 311 web site you need to know what category the item is that you re reporting Some are obvious but others less so Also if you change the location after you enter the info it clears the info and you have to start over Finally you have to register to make the report It should have said that first                 Pretty good A Jam Source

I downloaded this app when Turner took office because he was touting it I figured I might as well give it a try It s actually a very handy app I reported a burnt traffic light bulb and it was fixed less than 24 hours later The app was easy to use as well My only warning is that you must create an account and sign in before reporting your first issue                     Was hesitant but actually useful IphoneIsSecure

Application works great in theory However each time I try to report an issue the application is unable to locate my position Also when connected to wireless Internet application claims to not have Internet access     Unable to report location Billyloon

I tried this out by posting a request including a photo regarding a sewer overflowing at 11 58 AM By 1 22 PM only 84 minutes later a full City of Houston truck and crew arrived and addressed the problem Absolutely wonderful Thanks to this app and the City administration for making this happen                     Incredibly good MungoPark2

App seemed to get hung up when trying to register Tried again and got it to work The trick was not to press go after entering the password confirmation             Ok B-BREAUX

In order to submit an issue you have to log in BUT here s the tricky part You can t log in until you register You can t register using the app So how are you supposed to send in an issue if you aren t registered Won t ever use this again         Crappy App Toya5011

I thought this would have more information phone numbers city services things like that All this provides is a way for people to post pictures of potholes and other things they want fixed I even saw a problem posted about bad traffic congestion during rush hour in one area Huh Really The idea of this app is great but I deleted cause I could care less about the status of a pothole in some random part of town         Really That s all Bricks78

I just recently installed this app and thrilled that our city is opened to this idea This would definitely help to allowed our city residents to report bad road which have caused endless cost of car repair We will see how this app hold up                     A great start of a great idea Confucius17
