Love this app I tired quickly of photo apps that tried to emulate old cameras where every ones pics looked the same I get beautiful bw photos from this app There was a brief update that caused a crash bu they fixed it in 24 hours awesome its intuitive and makes taking pics with my iPhone fun again                 Simply beautiful

This is the one If you want a solid blackandwhite photo app that is firstandforemost a camera this is the one I love the colour filters and the way you can adjust the percent of filter applied These are proper colour filters in a blackandwhie environment too affecting tone but not applying tint Contrast adjustment is slick and easy and there are preset slots for common shooting modes Overall a very nice true camera app One wish make an iPadfriendly version My mini goes where I go and is the camera I use most often yes I know it is not as good as the iPhone camera but I dont have or want an iPhone Works fine on the mini as an iPhone app but still it would be great to see it as a hybrid                 Best Ive Found

Finally a really good way to use the LED flash Also great UI design overall                 Loved the lamp mode for the flash

Everything everybody else said and add a way to shut the sounds off Awful Make it really iPad compatiblenot sorta kinda Isnt it about time for a major update addressing user concerns and functionality issues as well as missing features           Make it a universal app please

Seems like a good app But needs serious work It crashes when I try to save a pic or get a pic from albums Please fix it It was 2        Crashes all the time

Ive been using Hueless for a long time since it first came out Ive bought and tried other BW apps and nothing has compared in terms of quality ffeatures and easeofuse I only really use the Brightness and Contrast controls with excellent results The camera is rather fast at focusing to boot Worth way more than the 99 Just get it                 This is THE BW Camera for Your iPhone

This does take great pictures when it works Crashes a lot           Almost good App

I hope Im wrong but it has been almost a year since the last update This is a fantastic app but I hope it keeps pace with the evolution of iOS              Appears that development has ceased

This app gets a whole heck of a lot right The user interface is clean responsive and easier to navigate than some of the other camera apps out there In fact the exposure slider is one of the best approaches to exposure control Ive seen and is much easier to get right the first time than spot metering by tapping the screen until things look right The image quality is top notch Playing around in the settings menu opens up some great features such as being able to append artist info in the EXIF data and turning the shutter icon into a holdandrelease mode letting you line up and prepare for that definitive moment What does this get wrong Im a little iffy about the shutter button It feels awkward probably because its a little small Upping the size would be nice or even better utilizing the volume buttons as shutter controls though honestly its a small gripe and doesnt ruin the overall experience Overall brilliant app that makes shooting black and white fun again without gimmicky apps and trialanderror filter stacking Cant wait to see what future updates bring              Phenomenal black and white photography on the iPhone

I am getting great images with this app The more I use it the more I like it                 First Rate

I wish I had the ability to import photos covert to bw and use the color filters Why can I look at my photo library but not import Switching to Camera Noir bc it has import        Import

Hueless and Camera Art BW are the only two in camera bw apps that Ive found Both are great They work a little different but are both fun to use                 Awesome real time Bw camera app

I really like this app It has a lot of features that Im still figuring out but it takes great BW pictures I really like how well it integrates with the default Photos app and when you delete a picture from the Photos app it is also removed from this app I hate apps that keep originals that you want to get rid of and have to delete twice                 Great app

Im still receiving a lot of enjoyment from Hueless it is easily one of my favorite apps The recent addition of being able to save my image adjustments into easy to access presets is welcome The updated look is great as is the steady addition of useful features over time I like the fact the Hueless is a first and foremost a camera not an editing app Theyve managed to keep it focused no pun intended on taking pictures and made it easy to use Hueless has always worked well for me and when I had a question or two I found their support to be friendly and helpful Worth my 2 spent                 Still one of my favorite apps

Simply the best app for taking BW photos Great film like quality                 The best

You cannot import a previous photo from camera roll to edit in this app You cannot take a picture and then edit it You can only manipulating settings and effect before you take the photo once it was captured thats it        Not worth the money

I really like Hueless Its simple and works well and the realtime nature of it lets me capture things that Id miss otherwise This app has been invaluable for capturing pencil and ink sketches with good contrast and detail and its a great way to explore black and white photography as a medium                 One of my favorite apps

It has a ways to go Yes it does take pictures like your old black and white camera Unfortunately it also takes pictures like your old blackandwhite camera It shouldnt be so grainy Lowlight is awful This app has a great deal of promise and I look forward to using it in more kinds of situations then Ill update my review Especially when crashes less              I like it BUT

Seriously I bought the app when I had iOS 6 beta and yeah it didnt work but I was patient waiting for the final iOS update then the update to the app I wanted this app and was willing to wait for it But it still Cant Take A Picture I can play with all the knobs until it crashes I can look at the nice builtin documentation until it crashes I can press the shutter button and it doesnt crash but it also doesnt take a picture Ill remain patient until Im able to take a picture with this app     Most attractive photo app that cant take photos

Im a user since the first release of hueless and I purchased also the huemore app The feature set is complete and well executed BUT the application is VERY buggy almost halfbaked rather than well cooked On iPhone 4S with iOS 7 it crashes continuously and the album preview button on the right leads to a functionality which doesnt work and crashes the application almost invariably Id love to use it but it is not stable enough to be used even by an occasional photographer leave out a professional one who needs reliability as first requisite from a photo app Two stars looking forward a more stable release before dying it again        Way too much unstable Not ready for use

Never crashed on me Its not a filter app so i dont expect to import photos Instead its like having an old blk wht camera where you have to put in work to get your perfect photo It challenges you like taking a great photo should Makes you pay attention to lighting and contrast For true photographers not people looking for a cheap filter I love that you can save settings My only recommendation is that they give you the ability to delete photos from the app                 Almost perfect

the High ISO on supported devices actually means iphone 5 only it doesnt work on my 4s also multiple random crashes apparently iphone 5 is necessary to handle this simple app           nice controls I like it but

Nice idea but pretty much useless since photos arent geotagged UPDATE The developer has long since added geotagging so my review is due for an update This is now an excellent app Recommended                 Good app

Hueless takes astonishingly good photos Take a little time to experiment with the color filters Once you get a feel for them you can produce an amazing range of images I like that you cant import photos this app deserves to be used like a camera not a gimmicky filter I admit the controls take some getting used to and occasionally feel awkward but with each update Hueless takes a huge leap forward If you enjoy photography just get it and get out there shooting                 My favorite photography app by far

But this great app deserves a great icon and also please bring back the old square grid              Love it

Guys if this app is crashing try to bring your photo library to under 1000 photos I had similar issues and it now works Also to the dev is there going to be video support in a future update Would be awesome ty for the greatest photo app ever                 If crashing

This program has potential but it frequently crashes requires restarts and frequently does not respond to the shutter button At other times is slow A total shame SJR        Not Yet Stable w 3GS IOS6

I like the features but why not allow zooming        No zoom

Hipstawho Hueless puts you in charge of your creative destiny Finally a monochrome photo app that gives me the ability to go high key low key or anywhere in between Im running it on an iPhone 4S and an iPhone 5 with 601 and stability has never been better If you take photography seriously Im sure youve already been using this app                 Best BW hands down

App is fair Glitches though My app is MISSING THE FLASH BUTTON It also randomly horizontally flips the live picture No orientation flip to hold camera is the horizontal position Needs work           Potential

This was my go to app for bw but know it just sits on my iphone I have had to fine new bw apps to use I would to see this awesome app updated Could be five stars           No update

capabilities to make a wonderful black and white are great i just dont fully like the UI side of it could be a bit more intuitive              wonderful

Knowing the technical aspects of oldschool bw film photography well I find Hueless such a gift Hurray for 54 aspect ratio The learning curve may be a little bit steep but thats only because its so jampacked with features I recommend it to my Creative Smartphone Photography class                 Truly Great If You Miss OldSchool BW

This was a superb app that I loved using However it now always crashes without ever saving a photo I snap The only difference is that I updated to iOS 6 on my iPhone 4S Please help              Worked great until iOS 6

The split focus and exposure are really great That along with the maximum quality jpeg make this my go to BW app Worth every penny                 Keeps getting better

Lots of potential And Im really getting back into BW after years away from the darkroom Now if only this app would take a picture and stop crashing        Snap crash try again

If youre in to black and white photography this is an excellent app Note its just a camera this is not an editor I love the different options and its been fun to play around I am very pleased with the quality of photos Im producing with this the only issue is the interface It needs to be updated Once that happens you will get 5 stars              Excellent BW photography
