On a scale from one to five I would give this a zero I did an online search for Episcopal Hymnal with audio The description I read had 280 hymns with 280 audio files Absolutely not true I attempted to play aprox 40 files and only about 8 had audio files Hardly truth in advertising in a area where one expects truth Also the price given on the first site was 5 99 but it became 7 99 in the iTunes Store     Episcopal Hymnal Granky99

I really like having the hymnal on iPad However a number of hymns are missing It is frustrating when a hymn is called for to enter the number only to find it is not available and I must quickly grab the print edition in the pew to dig for the hymn I cannot imagine why the owners of these copyrights are expecting to gain by holding out The net result is to temporarily frustrate churchgoers Eventually the technology will win out Most of the missing hymns weren t all that popular anyway The longer they stay out of digital publication the less popular and less valuable they will become However this app is not quite ready for prime time     Flawed start RadioFlyer1200

I purchased this to use during services in order to eliminate fumbling through the hymnal intending to bookmark all the hymns before the service began Then I found that only two of the four hymns for the service that day were included in the app Upon comparison I found many hymns are missing By the end of the service I realized I had wasted my money     Buyer Beware Donsternyc

Buy with caution DO NOT expect to see and hear a copy of the 1984 Hymnal Many hymns do not have sound and you don t realize just how many until you purchase and listen for yourself This also isn t organized exactly like the 1984 Hymnal Unfortunately if the app creator is going to call something Episcopalian Hymnal it needs to be much closer to the the actual hymnal in use rather than being having just some hymns from the 1984 Hymnal as well as others So my hang up is that customers are mislead with how this is advertised regardless of the disclaimers It would be far better to market this differently Best of luck         Disappointing Srbiz313

Great app Would be superb if each season was included i e S service music Christmas with corresponding numbers under this heading Ascension Holy Communion etc Love that you can listen to hymns but this addition of seasons would help me as I plan services weekly                 Would be even better with seasons Always in search of good music...

Beware This app does not include all hymns in the printed version nor all the service music I downloaded it prior to today s service and quickly discovered that the processional 393 was not there This is not the total replacement for the hymnal you were hoping it would be         Almost Tenor Mint

I have using this app during the church service I find that quite a few songs are missing I m using it even though I find it easier to use than the paper song book I initially put that service s songs in the bookmark s section This works very well since I don t have to search for those songs             Hymnal episcopal 1982 Key-keh

The original version of this app was poor and the title was misleading as there was little content from the Hymnal 1982 Version 2 0 and this latest update add much of the H82 though not all This is a very helpful app now and I believe worth the price                 MUCH improved Fr. Gator

I was excited about this app however the developer should have advised customers that this was not the full hymnal it s not even close to complete I keep hoping there ll be updates with more hymns but no such luck as yet     Misleading and unclear JBallentine

This is an ap with hymns some of which are in the Hymnal It is not what it claims to be and should not be allowed to use the title Episcopal Hymnal     This is a nice ap but it is not the Hymnal anisotropic geek

An update to what I ve written below The developer did revise the description of the app to mention that there are hymns that are not in the Hymnal 1982 actually only 108 of the over 280 hymns are in the Hymnal 1982 He also changed the main description and removed all reference to the Episcopal Church Good for him Just beware before you purchase FWIW I ve trashed the app and am waiting on a refund Original review Most of the hymns here are not from the Hymnal 1982 They are from some other evangelical songbook There is nothing wrong with evangelical hymns but there is something tremendously wrong and immoral about a company that falsely promotes something for the sake of sales I feel I have been taken for a ride and would like my money back     Beware This is not The Hymnal 1982 Ansk

Buyer beware If you are searching for a comprehensive Episcopal Hymnal 1982 this is not it It has a strong bias toward the low church evangelical side of our church There is absolutely no service music and very few representations of historic Anglican music It is highly innovative to include a suitable organ rendition to accompany a singer at home or even in rehearsal but the midi s vary from excellent to low quality If you are okay with a highly edited selection of hymns with strong bias toward evangelical side of the church this hymnal is for you But if you are looking for a more comprehensive or even just inclusive selection of hymns this is for you For me it was not worth it s purchase price     1982 Episcopal Hymnal eHymnal pd
