I have been playing drums for five months now and I didnt even have this on my radar until I saw it on the app store Being able to make the beat in 16th notes helps a lot when trying to figure out how to play a song by looking at sheet music or tabs I HIGHLY recommend this for someone who like me uses tabs to learn new things but cant quite play it just by looking at it The only thing that needs to be improved is the addition of triplets in 44 Thanks                 A Godsend app for someone learning drums

Excellent reproduction of the sound of the 808 I really suggest sampling the sounds of this app and using them in a real sequencer instead of trying to work solely on your idevice Then you get your moneys worth I love it 808 says BOOM BOOM BOOM              Excellent off device

For only a couple bucks this is a cool and handy 808 emulator To those whining that it isnt exactly like the real 808 are you mentally damaged Its two dollars compared to hundreds of dollars for an actual 808 so what do you rocket scientists expect Real musicians can put this app to good use in a heartbeat              Phat beats for cheap

This app is fun for about 2 minutes in which it one is still trying to figure out all the functions super limited and absolutely nothing like the real thing This should totally be a free app     808 HAHAHAHAHAAH

1 It shuts off when the iPhone goes to sleep Make it like other apps that while using it you can turn off the sleep timer just for while using the app 2 Could you double the amount of measures so we can have 2 measures of 44 time 16th notes Most good beats are at least that long 3 How about the option to label beats 4 Lastly make it save settings so that I dont have to keep making the snare poppy every time I open the same beat Love the product Any of these additions could earn it 5 stars from me              Add these features

The sample quality is not very good and it doesnt remember any of your settings Save your money Dont get this app     Not worth the money

I like thus app and have had fun with it I agree with others that theres room for improvement here the fact that the sound shuts off as the screen goes to sleep should be fixed Id like to be able to save groups of beats Its nice to have up to six sets here but Id like to save stuff I like so I can move on to other beats wo erasing the keepers finally allow for the settings like snappy and hilow to be applied differently to each beat That would be helpful Also it would be nice to adjust the tempo by tapping as a shortcut as well as incremental updown adjustments Really cool app Thanks for the hard work I look forward to updates              Fun with lots of potential

If youve ever seen a real Roland 808 youll know that this is pretty much EXACTLY like the real thing but it fits in your pocket and it only costs 2 bucks Great sounds great interface              Just like the real thing

This is a great little app but it could be perfect the sounfd are good but u can tume the drums u do have some conyrol in how they sound but not tuning i created beats fast and easy im very happy with it and it does remember what you created after you close the app but herr is my wish list for updates Wishlist 1 The ability to save and load your patterns with the tempo 2the ability to have accents per instrument not just global accents 3 indepenfent volumes of the instruments per pattern 4 auto fill button 5 Ability to load your own samples 6 some of the instruments are either or clave or rim shot maracas or handclap I would like the option to have thwm all available 7 the ability to have 3 or 4 levels of accents per instrument 8 more patterns available im the screen at least 16 Now this is only a wish list to make it a full drum machine ready to use live and i would not mind paying 20 for an app like that i have beat maker and is great but not as easy as i808 In all i love i 808 and i recomend it it be perfect if it could save and load the patterns with the assigned tempo and maybe a few more samples or the ability to load your own But remember youre im a phone              Almost perfect but

At this time I can only give one star Even with the volume all the way up on iPhone and on the app it is difficult to hear on headphones car stereo and home stereo More difficult to hear in headphones more than the others Will give more stars with improvements Other than that its a good app     Volume please

This is a fun app Very easy to use This is the easiest music app I have used Here are the thing I hope for 1 The ability to recorded and save I know Blackout Labs are working on this feature so it WILL be here 2 Needs more than 6 settings I wish it had at least 10 3 Some things are either or And I wish you could do both 4 The ability to change tone tempo cct from setting setting Add these and 5 stars no problem              Nearly Perfect

I like the sounds and you can save presets but it always defaults back to 150bpm Maybe I havent found what it is good for yet Right now its just a toy        Could be better

Its fun and easy Im really looking forward to making some recordings with the i808 however it doesnt remember all the settings when you save a beat Also Im not one to complain about sound quality on a super inexpensive drum machine Im one if those that realizes you get what you pay for however Im getting some real bad clipping pops with the bass drum Really bummes me out Makes it unusable Update please Thanks           Superfun

ok this app is really awesome except for the fact that you CANT export your beats out of the device or out of the app even so i was disappointed i could not put it in garageband overall a lot of fun but if you want to actually use it for semipro purposes then id look elsewhere           decent but

Im a Dj and its tight to throw an 808 blast in the mix from my iPhone every once and a while I dig it vinyl mike                 Simply tight

Doesnt remember BPM or Tone Decay switches when ever you exit the app Other than that it works ok sounds could be better quality and a higher volume           Works OK

Im a proud TR808 owner and this program does a great job of emulating an 808 The sounds alone are worth the money to sample into an external sampler ahem MPC2000XL and tweak as needed I would like to see more updates to take this app to the next level of carrying the 808 title                 Very good tr808 emulation

I just started learning drums as a hobby from a friend and this tool really helps me I use it to make the beats in my head and when I get to my friends house I play it for him to listen and all goes well Its great for users of any level and the interface is just clean and simple the way I like it                 Great for users of all levels

This is a great straightforward 808 emulator Many people are complaining about sound quality but really this isnt awful Chances are 99 of the people that buy this app have no plans of using it live Its a great time waster and once the beats start theyre absolutely metronomic No clipping or tempo fluctuations here I had to give it four stars since it only seems to save my beats when it feels like doing so which is annoying If youre in to hiphop electro or just looking for a cheap and easy to use drum machine this is great for practicing musicians this is your app              A great use of 2 for the beat scientist in all of us

within 5 minutes of playing with this drum machine i had a beat i was boppin my head to i then got a fresh bassline in my head and was off to play it out i now have the beginings of a new track in a style that i have never played before i take inspiration from anywhere i can get it and this app gave it good highly recommended for anyone who wants an easy way to create a beat                 from beat to bass in 5 minutes

I am a professional sound designer and I know what I am saying The sounds inside this app are 8bit and have lots of digital noise Come on its 2009 not 1989 I am so sorry one cant return apps in the App Store        Very poor quality dont waste your money

Easy to use fun to play with but while it saves your patterns and your tempo it doesnt save the drum settings or the volume levels so if youre using a nondefault drum or have adjusted levels you wont recognize your beat when you open the program again and youll need to do all those adjustments over which makes it useless for performance What did I want for 2 right        Disappointing
