This wonderful app is by a considerable margin the best app currently out there for BART users It combines realtime arrivals AND access to schedules BART unlike other subway systems sticks to a specific timetable Realtime arrivals are laid out in a logical and easily understandable format The trip planning function is easy to use and is based on the schedules It very clearly lays out not just direct trips but all those that can be made via timed transfer and makes great use of the BART route color schemes better use in fact than BART does itself The application automatically informs users when schedule updates are available and also receives BART service and Twitter updates Unlike many transit apps its also extremely stable Ive had very few problems with crashes or freezes My only minor suggestions are to make accessing favorite stations easier its not really intuitive to have to go into All stations for the favorite menu It would also be nice to have the length of the trains in cars displayed That aside this application wins handsdown for BART apps accept no other substitutes                 Best BART app available

Another reviewer pointed this out but this app thinks all lines south from the city are the red line headed to Millbrae but of course they arent        Maybe great if you arent going south on the peninsula

Useless It is only scheduled according to the regular bart timing Doesnt show if theres any delays Also doesnt update for holidays schedule It stated the bart frequency is every 7 minutes yet it was every 20 minutes in fact     Useless App

Have used this app for a long time however as of late the schedules shown have been completely off from the actual train arrivalsdepartures This has caused me to be late on more than one occasion arriving at the station only to realize Ive missed the train        Inaccurate departure times

This has been such a great app as I use bart every day in the Bay Area But I noticed lately the timings are off If I try to make the 130 train as soon as I get there the monitor would show 510 min wait Which also means it wouldnt be at the destination on the time I scheduled This has been really frustrating Please fix this If this continues I would have to find another app           Good but not accurate

I am surprised by so many of the negative reviews I have used this app a lot now and can say without a doubt I am impressed Accurate times nice detailed alerts a convenient setup to let you input favorite stations you may ride often nice little gestures like the swap button to change directions from one station to another This app is easily one of the most useful and helpful apps on my phone and this is coming from a daily user Very happy with the whole experience and I hope this never changes with updates Keep up the great work guys                 Works like a charm

Try to use app to get to a friends place early in the morning app didnt follow thanksgiving holiday schedule Ended up having to cancel my thanksgiving because this app was to last to list the holiday BART schedule     Left me high and dry

The iBart and iCaltrain apps are by far the best commuter train apps in the App Store Theyre the only ones I have on my phone And theyve become default apps that I install whenever I get a new iDevice Ignore all of the whiny complaintsI dont like the colors Come on its a freaking commute app not a sculpture at The Louvre If you dont like the design then design your own freaking app                 Best commuter train appseriously

Ive fallen I love with this app I moved into the Bay Area and had no idea where anything was or how anything worked This app had helped me tremendously in helping me travel I still use this app almost everytime I use the BART It is very accurate and I havent really had a single time where it was not accurate And they keep updating this app so its always getting better A great download                 Best BART app out there

The UI looks good Unfortunately the real time schedule is wrong and not updated Please fix it     Wrong schedule

This app is very helpful for commuters like me The only thing I wish for was the size of the train it it was 8 car 9 car etc              Not bad

This is the app to have if youre a frequent Bart rider Tells you times of Bart departures and you can plan trips and see prices Also tells you if you need to transfer                 The app does exactly what I need it to do

I really like this app and want to use it However its seriously broken and no one is fixing it despite two attempts on my part to get action Its too bad but the app supporters seem to be AWOL        I really like this but is broken and no fixes coming

The app is nicely designed except the estimated time of traveling is a little off Just buffer another 510 min when youre traveling              Overall useful

This app by far is great My one disappointment is that the UI is still not optimized for iOS 7 Its been 6 months since iOS was released and other apps have become iOS optimized but not iBart There is another public transit app which looks nicer but is more complicated to use If iBart was modeled after that then it would be awesome Also the small bugs that people have been mentioning yeah good to fix those also But other wise its my goto Bart app that I recommend to everyone thanks guys Keep it up Fix the previous mentioned stuff and your golden           Needs an update to match iOS7

Theyve fixed the issue with realtime arrivals not working While it was broken I tried some other arrival time apps and found nothing as good as this one Great UI and I love the Refresh Nearby Stations feature I would love to see of cars on the live departures But aside from that this app is perfect              Best BART app Ive found

This app sometimes does not reflect correct Bart schedule Several times I have missed trains due to this While relatively easy to use development on this app has stagnated for a few years now It used to be much more feature rich but with favorite routes long gone and inaccuracies in scheduling I find myself deferring to bartgov mobile sitewhich isnt much less straightforwardjust to be on the safe side        sometimes inaccurate

Used it on iPhone6 works very well stable app and great easy to use functionality Two thumps up                 Well done

Yes some things about it are clunky But Ive tried many transit apps and this is always the one that shows me the information I need to make BART happen the way I expect it to Everything else acts like BART is a bus and that form doesnt quite make sense for BART              The BART app I keep coming back to

Timed transfer did not work     Dont trust routes given with transfers

Ive come to rely upon BART as a main mode of transportation to and from San Francisco live in Walnut Creek Using the trip planner I can see the schedule and determine which best fits my need Cross reference with live departures and I know almost exactly when I need to be at the station If I need to see where Ill be along the route I can open the train line and see where Ill be at specific times along the way Add Twitter updates with bart advisories fughedabouit                 Works well the best Ive seen

How on Earth can this app even be considered real How doesnt The Apple Store not have a better app Why am I writing this This app never updates the advisories and it will tell you a weekday schedule on the weekend Considering Cupertino is in the bay Im surprised this hasnt been fixed considering Steve Jobs himself probably ride BART from time to time     Worse app ever

This app is pretty much flawless Its easy and full of features So much better than easy bart which has almost no features This app has real time departures trip planner find nearest bart and more I use it every day and highly recommend it                 No idea why this perfect app has low reviews

Needs to have Oakland airport OAK updated as new station with completed construction              OAK

It is much better than the competition out there at least last time I checked but to be honest its not great There are no live arrivals and its misled me to transfer and get off at the wrong station multiple times eg hey developers its 19th instead of MacArthur if youre going in the opposite direction Please update your schedules and make sure youre accurate at least           Meh

Love that it works offline and that there is a button for reverse direction Much faster than using the web version Thank you so much for making this app Todo items list of results needs to show one train earlier than requested favorites does not show most frequently used stations something broken there GPS could allow pulling up schedule of next departures at currently closest station before first user interaction              Great with room for improvement

This app hasnt been updated since Apple bought Embark For a long time the realtime departures were not working I was pleasantly surprised to find them working again today              Realtime departures work again

I downloaded the Easy BART app first because it looked prettier but it was horrible Embark iBART is easy to use and gives you what you need updated time schedules and the ability to plan a trip today tomorrow or next month It also has advisory notices which is a nice feature that includes elevator info the BART Twitter feed and links and numbers to contact BART directly Well done                 Yes

The real time predictions stopped working a while ago and support seems to have disappeared     Doesnt work

I just want to see train times see how to get from one station to another and occasionally see the map This app does that                 Does what I want

What happened to the ONLY worthwhile function on this app This app used to provide live updates and realtime departures until this week All of a sudden the live departures were disabled with no explanation That function is the only thing Ive ever used this app for The map function and everything else included can be found online at BARTs website and other places so the fact that live departures no longer works renders this app completely useless Disappointing                 What happened to live departures

If this app cant do this its useless I just deleted it     Still no live updates
