I have used other IPhone ICD9 apps What is frustrating is those ambiguous diagnoses i e venous stasis dermatitis These are not always easy to find The other apps I have used can be pretty vague as well Aside from lugging around a huge coding book this app has a much larger search capacity I like that it lists all those diagnoses that fit to a specific ICD9 code Our new EMR requires entering specific ICD9 codes before checking patient s out This app works great when I have to look one up fast                     Great app Dr Chetchie
