Cant even use it crashes so much     Was awesome now crashes all the time

Excellent work This is a virtual breadboard a way to map and test your project ideas before ever laying hands on real components Being quite new to electronics this is going to be a fantastic resource to double check my work before going live with actual components What a great tool Thanks                 Amazing App

Been using this App on both the iPad and a MAC Files are transferable between the iPad and MAC via email Overall iCircuits does a very good job of simulating digital and analog circuits There are a fair number of basic analog and digital components Its a good App to try basic circuit ideas before building them up on a bread board Do find that the MAC version is a bit easier to input circuit descriptions than the iPad That said the functionality of both versions is the same Overall iCircuits is well worth the money                 A Very Good App

I am an aspiring electrical engineer and currently taking my first course on electricity With the help of this app I have developed a great intuition into how circuits behave beyond what was thought in class Other than this being a great app I would like to suggest there be some sort of database where users could share their own inapp creations along with a votingrating system This would serve to expand beyond the default circuit examples                 An electrical students indispensable tool

I used to enjoy using this app for prototyping and testing out schematics before designing them until App crashes when I hit the info i button There is no longer a redo option when I end up pressing the undo by mistake Please fix these        Used To be A Four Star Awesome

Yes this is a great app and absolutely indispensable for anyone learning or doing electronics You can visualize voltage and current for every part of a circuit right there within the components and wires Its one thing reading equations for an RLC circuit and another to watch it happening live for example You can also have your iOS device be a mic or accelerometer input and output sound to your speakers Adding components is easy as is changing their parameters on the fly Looking forward to what new features are added in the future                 Meets and exceeds expectations

Very frequent app breaks from new update           Starts to die after upgrade

subcircuits within subcircuits do not function creating new folders is impossible deleting push switches requires selecting their containing circuit and deleting the whole thing dragging and dropping elements without even touching wires sometimes creates singular matrix or 0 resistance error oscilloscope does not display smoothly at some frequencies deleting circuit elements is cumbersome creating onoff switches is cumbersome I dont see a way to make bode plots Obviously from my rating the app works really well other than these issues so if you can live with them its worth the 10              Several Issues

iCircuit can show how very basic circuits operate It seems to choke on anything more than dirt simple Its is not a serious engineering app The interface is slow to use and could use a rewrite In its current form it is not really good at circuit design or simulation but does a bit of both Anecdote on my iPad3 its giving incorrectstuckinconsistent values for voltage on a circuit with 2 op amps and 5 resistors It also seemed to work fine on a more complex circuit with 4 op amps Weird           Fun but not for serious engineering use

it has actually caused my iPad to crash Previous version have been buggy but somewhat useful Now I cant even open the app     Version 18 not only crashes upon opening

Like many others have reported this app does nothing but crashed immediately after opening     Crashes Immediately

Using the scope with my 5S allows me to view the scope one time before crashing the app any other times after that Its extremely frustrating Also fix the scope in the desktop version for mavericks I love this app but the scope issues are huge     Fix the scope

This app does more than I know how to do but its teaching me and thats why I got it The latest update caused some bugs but I would rather put up with bugs for awhile then have an app that stays stagnant The owner says the bugs were fixed and the app resubmitted              Great app

So I purchased this despite all the bad reviews stating that it crashes a lot I ran it 3 times and it crashed all 3 times Sorry I got it It did look promising though     Super buggy

The examples are great but they should be in a toolbox similar to the components available at the bottom To that point something like a buck converter circuit may show some gaps              Needs more examples

Upgraded to the latest on my iPad 4 and now it just crashes I sure do get tired of being an unpaid test person     Broke

I think this is a fantastic app at a fantastic price Ive never had problems with its functions and it has always performed very well with how I use it For iPad its an extremely powerful app and I dont think it deserves some of the negative reviews it has so far The only reason why I didnt give it 5 stars is the user interface It is very sensitive and unlike traditional iPad interface It can get frustrating Anyways nice job Keep the updates coming              This app has potential

I really enjoy using this app to design circuits for work but would like to see one addition please add iCloud sync so that it will work with iCircuit on my mac I am often designing on my mac but will demonstrate my design using the iPad and it would be nice to not have to email the files back and forth constantly Also updating the design to iOS 7 would be nice Thanks              Great App Needs Update

Kudos This is so awesome I have been able to learn about transistor oscillators and much more If the developer sees this review please add quartz crystal resonators and maybe to add a crystal oscillator I need help learning about them              Awesome

Ive used this app for awhile now and this new version adds syncing ability with iCloud and a few new components Several circuits I had saved did get lost during the update and many others now crash on the iPad Rebuilding the circuit fixes this but I shouldnt have to rebuild everything just because of an update The app is very easy to use and fast for basic simulation needs The new appearance is fairly similar but moving the buttons around is an annoyance for longer term users There should be some options for selecting the button locations rather than no options at all The scope behaves differently not sure if it is better or worse yet The response time of the over circuit voltages and currents is significantly faster versus previous versions Overall if you need to build a quick circuit and want a near instant result this is the app to get A new user will be pleasantly surprised with the speed and agility that circuits can be made The app always has experienced occasional crashes and from what I can tell still does           Easy to use fast simulation app

Just a first rate education tool If you are reading through AoE for the first time or are in an EE program in college you must get this app The only thing that Id like to see improved is the UI around deleting elements Its a bit laborious                 Spectacular for the beginner

Why isnt there any new updates Id love to see some new chips in this Maybe a full stock of TTL and sorts     Needs an update

This is a very well done full fledged spice frontend that has remarkably good performance despite being on a mobile platform This may not include real part models LM324 op amps or IRZ44 mosfets though you can add your own subcircuit parts easily The live current flow works great though you need to adjust the time step to a much smaller interval than what the simulation otherwise needs to get it to work really well which is to be expected Its great for teaching or visualizing filters or switching circuits Just remember to use electron flow it actually reflects reality and the pin names of semiconductors only make sense in this context The convention is looking at the flow bubbles instead of the flow of the water itself                 Great Spice on iOS

Simple yet surprisingly powerful Way better for general circuit verification than Spice or other complex simulators Has a nice large collection of components                 Brilliant

It may just be me but where is the cut and paste tools How does one cut or delete a line segment A wrong part The undo button is not the only editing tool in a GUIbased app you know Thanks for taking my 10        Nice idea but missing critical editing tools

This is an awesome app to design circuits it looks absolutely beautiful way better than multisim but Sometimes the readings are not accurate Therefore 4 stars instead of 5 Hopefully they will upgrade this app for 10 dlls It seems expensive but as long as they update and fix the accuracy of the measurements then its the perfect app Extremely helpful for you electronics aficionados Best way to create a schematic and test it before the breadboard Awesome              Awesome app easy to use and great features

This app will visual display whats happening in a circuit Its a great app for everything from HW to hobby calculations The only improvement this app could see is the ability to display multiple voltages or currents on the schematic during simulation                 Great app for demonstrating circuits
