Ive scanned 3 books and its gotten all wrong after multiple scans I hope the accuracy improves I could have just typed the isbns into excel and it would have been a better use of my time and money     I paid for what

In general the app is great The only thing I dont know how to do is how to make the books so you know if you have read them or not Thats what it said it could do in the description before I bought it and I still dont know how or where it is                 Good

I like the app Ive run into a few isbns that werent accurate but its easy enough to put the info into the app manually Most of my books are quite old and the isbns have probably just been recycled to new books Overall Im quite happy with it                 Fantastic app

I have a really large book collection featuring old and new books when I downloaded this app I was very excited to have it however I was very dismayed when I had to enter a vast majority about 15 out of 18 books manually into the system most of the time the books they came up with were dead wrong I do not recommend this app     Waste of time and effort

I have tried many bookshelf apps and this one is by far the best It interfaces with Facebook and twitter It has a large library base making it unnecessary to enter information on books others have already added Great App                 Best Bookshelf App

This makes the software useless I did a test and 17 out of 20 books were wrong There is some kind of perturbation in the algorithm bc it gets books in a similar genre     The database is screwed up

Please add Library of Congress call number and subject heading categories Or at least an option to plug them in or grab them from the web on OCLC WorldCat This would make it even more awesome              Great

Love it I can finally keep track of all my books in one place and with me instead of wondering do I already have it              Awesome

I love this app but I wish it had folders so I could know how many of each thing I have and how close I am to finishing out the app Also it doesnt always write out all the information Ive put series books in there and since it doesnt always put the number book 1 book 2 ect Its a bit of a hassle Right now I only use it for one type of book and am looking for a better app           It

When I first got this software last year it worked great Now every other book I try to scan comes back as something totally different The app is almost useless I have to enter books manually and I can do that with a spreadsheet I think a herd of drunks has been entering books into their database with the wrong ISBN numbers Total crap app     This is your brain this is your brain scanning books

I found this app to be a very easy useful way to help me organize my ever growing collection of books                 Great App

This is my first book app so I really dont have anything else to compare it to I like it in terms of having everything in one place and I like the wishlist feature I do wish it was more interactive like maybe a button that links you to other books by an author in your library or that links you to other books you might like based on your collection I also wish it was more customizable on the home page and with an ability to create custom categories easily Buy overall its a nice efficient app for my growing book collection I agree with others that lately non of the books I scan come up automatically But since I only buy a few books at a time Im not finding this to be overly burdensome              Pretty good

I see reviews of people trying to scan and it not workinghappens on some books but if you manually enter the isbn it comes up                 Great app

Ive had problems before with this app but then there was an update that fixed those So I used this for quite a while and was very happy with it Now since one of the recent updates it wont scan the barcode on my books this is the only reason I purchased this app I tried to find some help on their website and found a page that said to email them What do I get in response An email that says they do not respond to emails     Scanning Not Working

In general this is a fair app for cataloging your Library but i am constantly running into things that dont make sense or just frustrate me unnecessarily For starters the Google cover lookup function is awkward twitchy and poorly laid out Its almost more trouble than its worth Secondly the Title Format issue You ask it not to alphabetize The or A and then it does ive found two workarounds 1 go into Settings turn it off and turn it back on repeat for every applicable title or 2 Save you entry wait for it go back out to the list tap that title tap Back and watch it format the title correctly repeat for every applicable title Clearly Option 2 is easiest but you shouldnt have to do either Third and most annoying to me if youre looking at your list arranged by Author the Titles are arranged in the order you entered them ie it does not subalphabetize by Title I have a dozen books by Neal Asher When I go to Neal Asher in my Alpha by Author list the Titles are like this G P V C S G L etc because thats the order i purchased and subsequently entered them The only way to fix this is to delete them all and reenter them in proper alphabetical order manually And do that again every time i buy a new book by an author i already own Kinda ludicrous It makes it a little difficult to tell if i have a book if i already own many books by that Author These are the three issues that frustrate me the most There are several more which is why i cant give it more stars Its also why Im looking for another app        Problematic just ok

Had a very easy time learning to use the app most of my books scanned with all fields filled in only a few had to be entered manually for the low price tag is a must for avid collectors                 Best book catalog app yet

I purchased this app because we have the movie one and that works great This does not have a bulk camera scan so you have to do each book individually The camera doesnt recognize half of the barcodes so I have to enter manually When I choose the enter ISBN option the options are cancel or OK but I can never access the number pad so thats not even an option So one by one I am manually entering my books one by one and taking a picture of it as well Since I cannot save without an author I manually search the author But when I do so the app closes So glad I paid 299 for this        Not as good as I collect movies Beware

Does not work Consistently generates wrong books with even with ISBN code     Horrible

However I personally would like to see a better way of typing dates and numbers using a normal key board for instance so one can say the book doesnt have an ISBN or has an SBN or just put the year of printing also a place to put copyright info and library of congress number Other than that stuff its an okay app           Good

For the most part I like the app I like being able to catalog my library I realize not every time Im going to be able to scan a book in My only issue is the search function to be able to quickly find a book Being able to put the library in either alphabetical order or by author would be helpful           Fair very useful

Ive installed iTunes on a new computer but this app will not download for me anymore I purchased it and its still showing in the store so why can I not download it I clicked on the App Support button just above the reviews on this page and it goes to a nonwebsite Any help available for this           Is there any support for this app

Unless you want to enter all the information yourself for each book dont buy this app The camera scan and ISBN search consistently generate a different book from the one you input     Poor data base

This app is so misleading I thought this was an app i could use to read my books electronically but it just lists a bunch of crap i dont care about I want my money back     Horrible

The developers of this app make a comic book app That app directs you this app whenever you scan a graphic novel or comic collection it recognizes Problem is this app doesnt differentiate between a graphic novel and a normal fictional prose book     Needs graphic novel options

This app falls in line with the other iCollect apps in offering a sleek modern database for your content So far the app seems to be stable but adding photos to entries from Google could be made a bit easier              iCollect Books Pro

I input 350 booksinto my iPhone 4 with iCollect Books and backed it up to the server When I restoreddownloaded to my iPod 4 Touch it only listed 54 books Both devices should have the same number of books In addition when I log on to the website the number of books are also different I have the same issues with iCollect Movies and iCollect music Please fix the this issue with all three of these programs        Bugs

This app is great until you try to sync with the website apps on other devices It doesnt sync everything once it is you cant change it           Syncing doesnt work properly

Awesome app Just what I have been looking for I showed my son and he ended up buying it to He already has about 150 books in hisI just have a little over 50 I wish it supported multiple librarys or bookshelves or whatever so you could have like books stored on their own shelves and not just all mixed together If I could have multiple shelves that I could fill with the books of my choice and let them be alphabetized on just their shelfthis would be the PERFECT app              Best App EVER

I hate being at work or going to another book store and never being able to remember what books I have especially the series I dont have that issue now Some small little things Id like different but not enough to really matter but just enough to give it 4 starsmaybe a little cheaper price But I guess if it keeps me from buying a book twice Ill swallow the 299              Finally I can remember what books I have

So far I am hooked on this app There are two items that I noticed that need to be changed 1st When a book is scanned in the app the ISBN is not transferredentered into the cell that asks for this info I have to manually reenter the Info for every book 2nd Audiobooks are not transferred to the web site when app is backed up              Good app

Would love to be able to mark a book as read unread or in progress Also would like more options in the wish list section author no date basically it could function just like the books section but it would be books for my wish list              Best so far
