I like it and its very interesting to know where the earthquakes are hitting around the world Its a bummer they want to send you a notification if anything hits within a personally selected areas But other than that its pretty cool              Mr Gibson

This is a nice app but what it really needs is the ability to utilize the iPhone accelerometer to detect earthquakes and automatically share that data to the cloud andor the USGS Only when enough similar readings are detected from a certain region within a narrow timeframe would the data be considered legitimate and then be pushed back out to the map for all users to view The app could also be active only at certain times of the daynight that the user defines As well as only be active when connected to predefined wifi networks Such as Home or work Another option would be to only take accelerometer reading when it is plugged into power such as when on your night stand or connected to a computer USB The app could also use the iPhone GPS to disable sensor reading when moving As well as only record seismic data when the app detects the iPhone is laying flat on its back Another option would be to disable the seismic sensor data output when a face is detected with the front facing camera Requiring the app to be running in the foreground would also further prevent false readings This could easily quickly and cheaply create a huge network of seismographs around the world        Please add this capability

Filtering for 60 shows NO quakes USGS shows several worldwide Crashed on first use Alerts individual pages kept scrolling back to top couldnt see bottom of page and graphic was blank I always download light versions first when available to decide if I should purchase paid versions In this case the answer is unfortunatelyNo        Meh

Recent updates made this my favorite earthquake notification app However it is the WORST iPhone Quake app iPhone app is NOT as configurable as the iPad version so I have to back down to 3 stars until it is improved I dont know why there is such a huge difference in configurability in the two versions The universality of the app is not universal The iPhone version is USELESS WEAK so I just deleted it and keep the app on my iPad           iPhone Version is LOUSY iPad version is good

This is one of my essential apps I have tried other earthquake apps but they are too busy This app displays the info in a simple format that is easy to use and understand I love that we cant control or predict earthquakes yet they can happen anywhere I just have to know where everyday You cannot go wrong with this app                 Use this all the time

I appreciate this site a lot My only additional thought is Im anxious for it to also alert for high tsunami alerts in my area              Appreciated

When i try to set the push notification threshold the screen locks It doesnt go to another screen to select the level and I cant return to the prior screen Running IOS802 on iPhone 6 Want to set the threshold lower than 6 which is what the screen shows        Cant Set Push Notification Threshold

Living in Hawaii makes this app quite useful to me We have earthquakes fairly often and tsunami threats are very real here Thanks for a dependable easily checked app                 Love This App
