OK it DOES save titles when quitting The latest version has a white FLASH along with the click sound which is PERFECT for video work It has replaced my slate on jobs I would love to be able to hot sync it to my cameras but I dont think thats an app issue I think thats an iPad thing Great job                 Love it Great price

Im not sure why this is getting poor ratings It is far superior to other more expensive apps The only think I would like to see is fractions of a second being displayed in the time slot that correspond to the listed frame rate That would make this app stellar                 Great appbest on the market IMO

Pretty nice slate I love the tap to advance feature but it would be a nice feature in the Scene window My only complaint is that it wont rotate I dont need it to be vertical but in its current orientation it wont work with the Apple smart cover It would be great to be able to stand it up by itself rather than to always hold it           Nice Slate App

This is a good start but it needs to save information when it is closed and needs a better visual indication of the clap It would be nice if you could save info on more then one projects and recall it as needed           Good start

Awesome except for it doesnt remember anything on close You have to retype everything each time you re run the app not very intuitive Will be great when it remembers        Seriously

I tried 2 other iPad clapboard apps before settling on iFilmSlate The most important features for me were 1 large readable scenetake areas so the camera can see them easily from far away and 2 a sharp sync tone that will show up in my edit bay as a short spike to make it easier to align audio sources not captured incamera Also appreciate text border and background brightness is adjustable and all changes are saved when closing the app Well done              Really nice clapboard

As reported previously the text entries are not all saved on exit which makes it royal pain to use unless this is the only app you use Furthermore there is very little visual action when you press the mark button on the hinge of the sticks other than a slight dimming of the sticks This matters because if you look at the video record of using this slate there is nothing on the video side to line up with with audio of the snapping of the sticks Either the sticks need to move or they should change color or disappear to provide a sync marker As it is clapping your hands does a better job of providing the sync In other words this app has a not been fully tested and b doesnt do what needs to be done to act as an actual slate and provide an audio and visual sync mark that you can use in say Final Cut Pro or Express Perhaps these features could be added and tested to make the app useful        Nice ideanot quite there

The clapper sound is so weak even with the iPad sound set to max you cant hear it a few feet away The timecode runs continuously Cannot find a reset No instructions Buyer Beware     Dont Buy

For the price this is great Text saving is definitely working my slate info has been there from the start and remained through several power cycles I would prefer to see an animated clap where the top remains and the bottom arcs but Im just being picky Also it may just be me but it seems like the first clap lags a bit but I may be imagining it I give it a couple of practice claps which seems to wake it up So great app for the money                 Great for the price

Very cool app for the price Id like to see the ability to make some of the fields different colors or at least the text in the future Plus a larger clap button as its a bit hard to locate when holding the iPad toward the camera ie Away from the holder But is well worth the pice now I stand corrected The clap button is very easy to locate                 Cool app
