Forget going to some kiosk at the mall and dealing with someone who more than likely is disgruntled and takes zero pride in the work they produce Do it yourself                 Amazing

Clicking on photos does not take you to the correct repair manual For example clicking on Microsoft surface tear down takes you to the samsung galaxy note 101 tear down           Love Ifixit but the app needs work

This app is great I absolutely love the website and was thrilled to see that there was a mobile app I just upgraded the drive in my MBP so it was nice using the app rather than navigating the website on my iPad The random project starting pane was a little bewildering but jumping to the Repair Manuals tab got me oriented again Nice              I love the website

I utilize ifixits web resources and applications daily That being said I love the method and simplicity behind their website I did not realize they offered clothing repairs as well until I started using this application I believe it may be beneficial to change the apps main page from clothing repair to an aggregate of all manuals perhaps by recent page visits Its a slight deterrent from the apps useage if the content becomes a treasure hunt I do enjoy repairing all things but for now clothing is not the focus of my ifixit journey Other than that I believe the work they do is simply fantastic and greatly a appreciated in a world of proprietary lockout                 Extremely useful application but

Unusable as an App so you might as well go to their site I doubt there will be a fix anytime soon since their hasnt been one in awhile for them business sense would be to focus in their site Selling there productsTools I this App has become nothing more then a link to there sites howtos I happen to like iFixit their App When it worked But it seems they have forgotten there roots     Needs Bug Fix Now

Compared to the website this app was much more difficult to use I needed a manual for a specific device Never found it I expect a mobile app to present the information I need almost intuitively No such luck here It didnt live long on my iPad        Challenging navigation

Couldnt change screen back to original look Within literally 2 seconds I had the answer This is a REAL APP Thanks

Nice app but it instantly crashes whenever the Past Features menu is selected from within the Featured tab Reinstalling the app does not resolve the issue Im using an iPad 4           Crashes when opening Past Features menu

The app lets you favorite whatever guide Im working on pretty convenient The Guide provides me the responsively stepbystep pages and pictures Conclusion It makes looking up for guides easier and effortless so i can be more focus into fixing my electronics                 Highly convenient and helpful

Whoever linked these guides has done a horrible job Tap a guide for one product repair say an iPad battery replacement and get a completely different product guide maybe a Kindle Fire screen replacement Its like an Easter egg hunt trying to find the right guide           How to repair an iPad using a Motorola Xoom

The guide for a fix i wanted this app for was almost disgusting I take pride in my work and this was an awful walkthrough of how to make this repair Luckily i have enough experience i figured it out with no thanks to this app Youtube your repairs please     ZTE MAX screen awful guide

This was a great app until a while ago when it started spazzing on me when I tried to look atadd to my favorites When I try to add something an error saying Unable to connect Quickly flashes on the screen a few times stays and then wont let me do anything until I close the app When I try to look at my favorites the app force quits and when I try to look at a guide I have saved in my favorites it shows a blank page and null This is a little more than frustrating and Ive tried uninstallingreinstalling the app to no avail Beyond these problems Id like to see the iFixit store built into the app so its easier to get the tools Ill need for my next project        Updates havent helped

Ever since the app was updated it continues to not install Although it is not the only application that is having this problem apparently Please update as quickly as possible     Whats up with the new app for iOS 8

I put in my google login the google login screen disappears but never logs me in     It will not let me log in

The app overall is alright it only deserves 1 or no stars because once you search for something after the results you usually click at one result but there is absolutely no way to go back I had to close the app shut the app down reopen type the same search and click on another result To view a third result you would have to CLOSE IT AGAIN SHUT DOWN AGAIN REOPEN AND TYPE YOUR SEARCH AGAIN Huge fail guys hope you FIXIT asap     Terrible navigation

Its a great app I repeat A GREAT app However you need internet in order for it to work You cannot store any guides of any device or videos without placing them into your favorites and when you do the app will either crash or not acknowledge the action youre trying to make it do which it supposedly suppose to do The app is needing a lot of updates such as functionality and navigation as well as being up to date with the esthetics of what iOS 7 suppose to offer Id really hate to see an app like this stay neglected and eventually disappear Its an awesome app I use it for references when Im home but when on the road and if you use data it really takes a lot to load them because almost each step has about 2 pictures average which really can run up your data This app needs a lot of updating and hopefully it happens soon But if you have internet connection you are in the good If it wasnt for the functionality issues and the neglecting this wonderful app Id give this app 5 stars across the board           Jon the Phone Guy

1 Change font size iPhone screen is quite small but most apps accommodate with bigger text size so if you can allow us to increase the text size thatll be great 2 Update for IOS 7           Good only now Add a few features please

I enjoy this app greatly very helpful in my line of work as a service and repair associate for cell phones and laptops Would enjoy to see more tutorials for Alienware brand laptops like the m17x and m18x series Other than that great job developers looking forward to future updates              Love this app very helpful

I love this app Best do it yourself app Ive ever seen My ONLY problem with it so far is it keeps shutting down for no reason while Im reading a guide I have to restart the app then start all over again hoping I can find the guide I was looking at Any help would be appreciated because I really do like this app                 Great app but keeps shutting down

App crashed when trying to tag a repair as favorite It kept popping up a message that it could not connect to the Internet Not so Still I love iFixit and its resources              Love iFixit but bugs to fix

This seemed like the best idea for me I wanted to have the app on my phone because I dont like opening the web page in my phone Its a nice idea but poorly done it shows all languages of repairs in my English app The search doesnt work like on the website either Its just difficult to navigate But maybe the developers of the app will FIXIT           So much potential

I found the ifixit tools to be good quality but this app is just a way to get their brand into your phone I would never use this app in the field and here is why this felt like a student project to me Lots of UITableview and thats about it The articles are written with a distracting humor or wit which makes the article impractical for troubleshooting in the field The tear downs are interesting but no one attempts to put anything back together     Not useful
