I cant work out why its happening but it doesnt open all the branches in my mindmap           Doesnt Open Some Branches

Maximuim Node limitation is AT THE DATA LAYER not just a cant fit on the small iPhone display issue English documentation for iFreemind does not make this clear     Sr Systems Analyst

I was drawn to this because it displays mind maps almost eactly like FreeMind but I was dissapointed that you cant move nodes to restructure the map or even order them underneath their parent which is a critical feature when youre brainstorming because you dont know what other nodes will eventually exist and where the correct position will be I also find the icons unintuitive especially for addchild vs addsibling and return the start screen Overall it feels a bit clunky doesnt use screen realistate efficiently and needs to improve the workflow and usability For example you have to push a button to page through the icons when it would be easier to flick the screen to scroll them And the pagethroughicons buttons and the deleteicons buttons blend in with the icons themselves and arent obvious they are buttons Also deleting a node prompts you to confirm and then displays another message about how many nodes were deleted which you have to acknowledge Thats three clicks to delete a node which should just be a single click with an undo option in case the delete was a mistake     Missing some basics and needs work

I just want a freecheap mind map tool for the iPhoneiPod that I can import export with freemind Given the open source nature of freemind I didnt think it would be so hard to find This app has lots of potential but is very clunky to use I might recommend first to option out having icons then focussing on the useability aspects addsibling addchild buttons are not obvious be able to move stuff aroundjust make it feel more like freemind Only when the basics are ready then spend time dealing with the extras like icons This is decent but is hard enough to use that I tend not to        Really want to like this one

I wrote this below about the font and still feel that a plain font would be much more readable However having used it a bit the fact you can export freemind files makes this a valuable tool for the price once you figure out how to do that The interface has cartoonish icons But so what It does work and thats the bottom line I give it four stars compared to the competition based on low cost Everything you type is in a cheesy font all bold If it were just plain Arial or Times it would be an improvement              Why bold type revised review

Runs only in iPhone compat mode on iPad so iPad screen is wasted Web file manager requires wifi connection even on an lte device Cant open mm files sitting on Dropbox so hard to share anything with PC based freemind Do not spend any money for this version     Badly needs update
