So here it is iLobster someone had to do it but is it worth 199 Well that depends there is also a free version so what is the difference Probably a 14 cup of melted butter and lobster juice down the front of your shirt Yup this version will show you both in illustration and video the correct way to eat Maine Lobster not those bits of tails of somethingorother chain restaurants try to pass as lobster and there is a correct way if you want to stay dry and get all the meat you can out these tasty bugs Yes Im from Maine Yes I grew up lobstering though I dont anymore This app has the correct technique Aside from that theres a feature which allows you to locate via GPS on your iPhone the nearest restaurant or lobster pound where you can buy wholesale or retail lobster right out of the water theres even an inapp feature for ordering lobster The only flaw I found was that vendors which do not have a web presence do not seem to show up when you do a search otherwise most every place that sells good lobster in Maine is easily found As they say lets get crackn                 Funny name awesome app

This app is useless all info in this app you can find online and that sample video you can just find on YouTube or other website Not worth the money Go to apple customer support get your full refund now     Oh come on Stop giving your own app fake reviews

Very helpful app Im not a lobster newbie but if I were the video and illustrations would be quite useful I like that there are both imagine being in a posh restaurant You could sneak peeks at the illustrations without drawing attention and betraying your lobstery cluelessness The restaurant finder is also great although the dearth of lobster vendors in Tennessee is depressing Still a great app if youre ready to take the lobster plunge                 Remarkably helpful

This app was really useful at my family cookout in Maine Had some family from out of state who had never tried to crack open a lobster before and watching the video helped get them oriented                 Fun

I recently took a trip back to Maine and brought some lobsters home to Philly with me to enjoy with some friends My friends werent totally familiar with the process of actually getting the meat out of the shell This application has a great illustrated guide and video showing you how to properly work with the lobster Also the ability to search for lobster restaurants in your area comes in handy A couple things that would be nice additions to this app for the lobster newbie would be information on shipping and care instructions if you order and pack lobsters for travel For example how long will they keep out of water what should I do to keep them overnight in the fridge and perhaps some cooking instructions would be great This app will become my one stop shop for everything lobster                 Great App

I thought the free app was interesting However its only enabled for finding nearby restaurants that serve lobster Peas looking for ordering sources so I paid for the full app I was disappointed to find only two sources listed One of them doesnt even have a website enabled The other only offers pricey packages and I could not find a way to order what I wanted a few kit lobsters with two claws each and no steamers or other stuff I could easily have found scads more info with a free Google search I did I expected for a paid app to get a virtual index of screened lobster vendors including lobsterman who sell directly but nothing of the sort is included As far as lobster info goes you get instructions on how to clean a lobster thanks but duh I found nothing on how to select lobster nothing on hard versus soft shell smaller versus larger etc Overall it seemed to me that whoever wrote the app knew a lot more about writing apps than lobsters     Not Useful For Ordering
