Index Card Board for iPad

This is almost 55 app Very useful app I use it for story outlining can assign specific colors for different actschapters etc Reason I gave it 45 is because it needs to have better export options But if you dont plan on exporting your index cards and just run it on your ipadiphone its a REALLY good app Get it              Great app

I really like being organized and this is a very good way to keep all of your ideas at your fingertips and with the last update you can now make folders keep the updates coming              Very Nice

Index Card is a very good app That being said it still needs a few tweaks to earn 5 stars 1 Cards do not always snap to grid even when this feature is turned on 2 When typing a card 13 of the card is hidden below the keyboard The only way to see it is to remove the keyboard 3 You cannot move the cork board to access other areas of the screen You have to expand or contract the cards or tap on a card to move around on the screen So much simpler to just move the cork board around 4 The size of the screen is limited There does not seem to be any way to increase the number of cards you can put on the screen A few tweak should bring this app up to 5 stars              Almost Perfect

I loved this app It got my ideas so organized and helped me finish projects Until I bought a new iPad that is The app transferred but all of my work disappeared on both devices     Was great

Im using for a project that Im working on now I love how easy it is to create virtual cards and organize my high level thoughts and outlines I also like color coded my grouped cards Perhaps in the next version they can add more color options Its easy quick and gives me a birds eye view of my ideasprojects                 Love it

How can a team design a program made for filing information that is not searchable in any way except scrolling through hundreds or even thousands of cards This baffles me Good try though           Good but

I am using this app to write a large paper I like the organization it offers however I need to copy my index cards in order to categorize my 50 articles I am summarizing I am having trouble moving this file to Dropbox as well but that may be usererror I also would like to be able to move this into a WORD format so that when it comes time to write my paper I dont have to retype everything Otherwise very functional              So far so good

I find this app tons of fun for keeping my thought together in one convenient to find place It allows me to create several categories and then in the categories put as many index cards as I can possible think of plus color then to help my mind with subcategories                 Helps Me Keep My Thoughts In One Place

I cannot printor email so not sure what the additional annual charge is for Help     I loved this app until I paid

Ive tried an embarrassing number of ideaorganizing apps for both iOS and Mac and none of them hold a candle to this one I use it for everything from storyboarding and writing to DIY projects and gift ideas My housecleaning is even organized using this app The standout features are 1 stackable cards 2 the ability to flip the card which gives me a space for secondary or less important info and 3 being able to choose a notecards color which oddly is often not an option in many notecardstyle apps Ive tried Worth every penny                 Easily the best

I really like that you can include pictures on your card Im a visual person and I love the pictures I love that it is simple and intuitive but to be truly functional it needs a few more functions 1 ability to copy cards and paste on another project 2 ability to turn cards 90 degrees 3 Undo 4 Search function Add these and itll be much more functional PS liked the previous versions pictures better              Very Good but needs more

I really like this application I was looking for something where I could create a story board that was portable for when I travel The only thing I found lacking was the ability to use different colored fonts to help distinguish different ideasplotscharacters on a single card I sent in a suggestion and within a day or two I saw that the functionality was available I realize that they most likely received several requests beyond mine however I really appreciate that they listened and implemented my suggestion                 Great App responsive to suggestions

I have tried but never liked mind mapping applications I do use outlining a lot This application is between the two Just right for me                 Great little app

This app is definitely one that stands out from some of the others in the App Store The features that are currently available make it a very good starting tool for organizing your thoughts and making notes The fact that this has features that are not available in the free versions of some of the notecard apps makes it my goto at this time I love the fact that I can color code the cards flip them over and change the fonts At the moment the font options are a little limited and there is no way to change the size of the cards but those are minor things What I love is that the cards are stackable and can be arranged using simple draganddrop techniques Being able to write my plot outlines on the cards and then flip them over as I complete each scene or story beat makes things far easier to track This is especially true for when I get writers block and decide to skip a scene or come back to it If this had a few more features like more font options the ability to select different card sizes and maybe the chance to add active URLs to the cards I would have rated this a 5star product              Versatile yet limited

Lost one star for the inability to flip sides This fault makes it difficult for studying with but perfect for writing with              Not for studying good for writing

I havent used it for terribly complicated projects so cant speak to the limitations others have raised but so far Im finding it an invaluable tool I use Scrivener on my laptop but wanted a basic index cardonly iPad app and this fits the bill perfectly                 Very happy

I really enjoy using this app to storyboard As a person with a busy mind this helps me keep my thoughts organized I would like to be able to add more than one photo per card and be able to draw and write on them as well It would be handy for studying various subjects and making more detailed notes                 Great with room to improve

Tried this app the general design is funky and it doesnt work to flip the notecards Really Wow I expected a lot more for an hour of downloading        Good thought but really

I know its not possible but I would give is app 6 stars if they added 1just 1 feature Now they released the iPhone version I hate the fact that the index boards do not automatically sync In order to get one index board from an iPad to and iPhone or vice versa you have to open Dropbox find the index cards data PRAY you actually saved an updated board from the other device to Dropbox so you dont download an old version and open the Dropbox file in the index cards app This should automatically keep data up to date between devices If I have an idea and it to the iPhone app then try to synch it to the iPad app I may accidentally over write any work I did on the iPad app and vice versa This really is the best creative index board app out there in regards to UI and how the app itself functionsbut the lack synching is killing it Would love an iCloud documents option if possible           Thiscould be a 6 star app

Sometimes you have a piece that just cannot be organized but this program allows you to organize and get beyond that This is a big part of my writing process However program is a bit too sensitive such as the delete function All you need to do is touch the card hoping to open it but it selects it for deletion instead Thank goodness it asks before actually deleting Will continue to use anyway as it is so valuable There is a bunch of other functions that it offers as well Worth the purchase              A great part of my writing process

This is a very good idea sorter You can just start entering whatever idea you have and then work those ideas into a flow                 Perfect

This is a great program It is simple to use and sophisticated enough to use as a tool for maintaining visually available notes for writing and various other purposes                 Notes

All good but if a given card has a lot of information the last few lines are not visible unless you tap it to edit and even then the keyboard pops up and covers the last few lines until you tap the keyboard button and make it disappear              Added feature would be nice

You should be able to turn cards 90 degrees so they are vertical then would then be the best story boarding app in the world for designing apps Also better control of images is needed once they are on index card              Great but

Agree with the comments below that this is a good app so far but not practical if you work with large numbers of cards use fontsize personalization to help with complicated information organization Touch is too sensitive for selecting difference between move and delete especially as you expand down to the lower areas of the cork board canvas I also find that the cork board size limitations frustrating If you try to structure information hierarchically you need oodles of x and y space and this app only provides about an 8 card wide and 12 card deep canvas For right now this will just be one of my snapshot apps for creating quick oneshot visuals for communicating simple concepts to students but not one I use for serious study and writing        Great potential but wont use much right now

The use of index cards in writing is essential and this app is awesome Reasons for Awesome Rating 1 The app displays cards with options for colors fonts etc 2 The app utilizes spell check 3 The cards can be exported in pdf etc 4 The cards can be saved to a cloud app dropbox 5 The value in the features outweighs the price of the app Congrats to developers of this app Of course there is always room for improvement but this app was well done              A must have for Writers

I use this ap for prayer cards so I have several stacks on my board I sometimes have trouble moving the cards as I go through a stack and the ap has crashed on me a couple of times Sometimes it is sluggish to respond           Okay

So very easy So far I have 6 cards up on my board with 6 new ideas or 6 lists of things to do I can title each card and find right away Thanks for creating this                 WowI love this app
