Infiniti Connection

After spending 80000 on a QX80 Ive discovered Infinitis internet interfaces as well as their ATT connectivity need big changes When my app works its fantastic but when my car continually get a NO SERVICE message when trying to pull down destination feeds the INFINITI CONNECTION is WORTHLESS Im now in Wells NV WITHOUT connectivity to the IC service This could be a defective radio or antenna in my QX80 terrible ATT service or a problem in the IC service center Im sure I am not alone My next step after I finish my 2 week road trip is to tie up a day at the Infiniti service garage As for this app the biggest problem is what seems to be a 6 feed limit per destination folder and terrible onlineinternet documentation to use the internet interface There also appears to be a limit to the number of folders that can be created The iPhone app has no edit functionality For that you have to navigate about four levels deep on the IC website Not too intuitive This is a major problem Otherwise it is pretty easy to use but there appear to be limits to the number of feeds you can put in a folder I cant comment about the other features of the app I also am wondering about the erasing of previous comments as mentioned by another reviewer I expect more from Infiniti on their Information Technology interfaces with their owners Ps I just determined that the Valet Alert wont work if you have no connectivityservice I hope my car doesnt get stolen tonight from its parking spot here in WellsNV since my QX80 has no connectivity to the Infinity Connection Service     Infiniti Management Needs Wakeup Call

all I have ever done or been able to figure out from this app is lockunlock the car doors severely disappointed that this is the best Infiniti could do given the price of this car my Chevy Equinox had far far better technology and relevant helpful and useful apps     really pretty useless

I really want to give this thing 5 stars because it looks like it has potential But to be honest I cant figure out what it does except lock and unlock my doors It is confusing as heck to set up and unfortunately reading the Owners Manual is no help The Manually was obviously written in Japanese and then poorly translated to English I cant make heads or tails out of what my Manual says Ive sat down three times now to read it and I just cant do it And you would THINK that I could go to the Infiniti Dealership with my new car and say Okay I have the App and here is my carcan you please show me how this works But they cantthe salesmen have no clue When I went back to my dealership to ask the salesman goes out to my car with me to help me and the first question I asked him which was a basic question his responded by saying Oh well that is too technical of a question that we cant answer They dont send these cars home with us to figure these things out so I have no idea how that works He was also incorrect in telling me that my Infiniti does NOT have a builtin cell phone and that it will only go through my own cell phone WRONG How on earth does he think Infiniti receives vehicle telematics when you call How do they see where you are and how are they able to provide other services Its because the car has its own built in cell phone using 2G technology ie old cellular technology to call them If you dont have your cell phone with you you can still call themtry it and see it works fine That guy had no clue what he was talking about But if you do use Infiniti Connection to ask them a question it connects you with them in a very confusing way When the automated system answers it says Please say an extension Ummm I dont knowhow about extension one I have no clue They have GOT to fix that I have no idea what Im supposed to say so Ive just been saying Operator and it connects me with a generic extension I am so surprised that for such a fancy hitech expensive car that this part of things has been designed SO poorly     Very confusing

This app is nothing more than a we have an app too app It could be soooo awesome but they left the awesome factor on the factory floor The navigation part of this is a joke as Google maps 2008 had better functionality than this thing The engineers of this app had a blank canvass to start with and so many great examples to follow for inspiration and they came up with this        Kind of a joke

I registered my car on portal The app goes into an endless loop telling me my vin number is wrong Tried deleting and reinstalling Same problem     Waste of time

This app is total garbage Wont let me register my brand new car cant upload photo to prove its mine Really 63000 car and a totally useless app Will not be subscribing to this service on renewal Joke Zero stars     Infiniti Shame on you

I cant believe that infiniti only gives you 1 year with this feature Regardless its slow and unpredictable in working Then they want you to PAY for it when the year is up     Not good

What is Infiniti trying to do Their inTouch system on the Q50 I am talking about the 2014 model Endless issues Unfixable problems Now add to this a Useless app that looks pretty and not functionally Just look at the message The unlock request has been sent to your Infiniti It may take several minutes for the request to be completed It is just slow sometimes quick someone it never happens I wont ask for a remote starter That will probably blow their mind     Useless App and Useless inTouch

Infinity aka Nissan is a crappy brand where people has no idea of having such a simple working app will make life easier     Why Japanese Cars will never be Premium Class

This app fails to send the command every single time Infiniti needs to fire whoever is in their tech department and start fresh There are so many unsatisfied customers and it seems they do not care one bit They lack support for all of their apps including and most important their in touch apps in the Q50 It still lacks all the promised apps and also lags and has many bugs in the software I ADIVSE ANYONE STAY AWAY FROM INFINITI     This App Needs Some Serious Work ASAP

My title says it all My real rating is zero stars I want my 10 minutes trying to figure out this garbage back I decided to start with something simple sending a destination Finds it OK time to send Whoops gotta set up a folder and a feed Check Lets go to the navigation system and find my destination that was successfully sent Nothing OK Im waiting at the barber shop let me test the lock car Give us your four digit PIN Nope that doesnt work Just last night I enrolled in the new and improved allinone website and set up a sixdigit PIN To summarize trash this mess and start over     Absolute garbage

I finally installed the app and was hoping for something cool but it wont recognize my VIN and said I dont have this function in my Q50s Seriously Infiniti You already failed me with your over advertised InTouch system So lets not wasted anyone elses time and delete this app from the App Store     Infiniti Connect

This app works as well as the Bluetooth in my JX NOT WELL AT ALL After trying to scan my VIN it kept picking up only 67 numbers none of which are on my VIN I entered manually 5 times and it keeps saying error I finally gave up For the cost and class of an Infiniti Id think theyd have gotten this right Acura sure has     Disappointing

Used this off and on for nearly 9 months and it has never worked for any function whatsoever Worthless waste of valuable phone space UX is abysmal An on off toggle to save the speed alert Makes zero sense Whoever developed this app not only doesnt know how to create a usable app they must not even use it at all Dont update this garbage just make a new app     Has never worked

The only good thing about this app is being able to lock your vehicle where ever youre at in case you have a panic moment where you think you forgot to lock your car Everything else on this app is useless Will not be renewing this currently free trial app The annual subscription after the first year after purchasing your vehicle cost almost 700 You would think this would be free lifetime for the price you paid for the vehicle        Disappointed

I havent figured out what this app can do for me and my Q50 The only useful feature I see is the lockunlock but it doesnt even work and it doesnt give me status of whether my doors are locked or unlocked Mind you it also doesnt have the look and feel of an iPhone app and looks like it was slapped together overnight I sure hope my Q50 wasnt built the same was as this app Disappointing     Useless app so far

Do not waste your time with this application Half the features dont work and the ones that do error out half the time Infiniti should be ashamed to have published such a crappy application I sure hope my Q50 performs nothing like this app     ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS

The application does not work The VIN scan feature is inoperable and manually entering the VIN results in a an Invalid VIN error Entering the VIN on the main website portal then trying to access the vehicle from the IOS application also results in an error     Invalid VIN error

Hope it gets fixed soon Id give it a 1 but it worked for a little then went on some endless loop about incorrect VIN        It worked For like 3 days

The app thinks I live in Michigan instead of NY Every time I try to search for something it searches in Michigan Seriously Infiniti cant even get the current location on the app Horrible     Cant find current location

There were a lot of negative reviews about this app and I found them to be accurate I tried to register my car and it keeps telling me that my car is not equipped with my connect yet my wife was able to connect successfully Maybe two people cant connect to the same car but if so that is an over site I am curious as to what happened to all of the negative reviews that were on here     D

Come on Infiniti spend some money and do this right Your map should find my current location and not make me type it in every time 16 year old kids make better apps for school projects     Terrible

I love this app Its so much easier to set a destination on the app and send it to the car than doing it online The unlock and lock works great too Wish I could start my car from the app because sometimes Im just to far away for the key fab to reach Thank you for the app              Works great on 2013 JX

Your update a few hours ago fixed my app I can now use it again                 It works again

Dealer set it up again Worked once Invalid vin again Total crap and beneath Infiniti to come out with such a shoddy effort How many bad reviews will it take till it gets fixed     3 weeks still doesnt work

App doesnt read the bar code on the car for the VIN When entered manually didnt use all caps Issue the app goes into a loop asking you to register a car yes or no When yes is pressed it says there is an error bc no car is registered Thats a problem Seems like a good idea though     Dont make a mistake when entering your VIN

Fall 2013 has passed and still this feature is not available please at least add it before 2014           Address search and send to vehicle

Still broken I can unlocklock my 2015 Q50s but that is it Infiniti needs to find some programmers that know how to fix this Cant be that hard Come on Infiniti BMW and Lexus is watching you And so are we     Infiniti Should Be Ashamed

You can lock and unlock with this app but I tried the Lexus app with my buddies Lexus Wow now that is an app Infiniti add some options like remote start           Works but not as useful as Lexus app

Doesnt recognize VIN when typed in only picks up 6 digits when using camerabarcode option get to the next screen and I was asked to upload a picture of the car or to call Infiniti to validate ownership uploaded 3 photos no luck Called Infiniti no help Without this app working the car wont connect so Ivan download apps etc The in touch system was a selling point of the car however without this app its nothing more that a touchscreen radio     Useless

This is so great It makes my life easy Just needed to learn how to use it The dealer Frontier Infiniti in Cakifirnia really helped understand how to use it Theyre the best 1 in my book                 Infiniti connection is wonderful

The 2g service for Infiniti will end on Dec 31 2016 and no word of upgrade has been announced The 2016 cars might be updated but might not happen for the older models and if so might be our cost to upgrade The app is so slow it is usless     Service will end Dec 31 2016 no upgrade announced
