Love this game but you need to add an option to turn off the music at menu please It is not always practical to have that going when u first start it up Everything else is perfect              Please add option to turn off music at menu

The game doesnt work and even if it did you only get the demo for free then you get charged to pay the dull version     Terrible

I installed the free version and the game will crash every now and then when I play with computer Wouldnt pay for a game like this     Crash again

I agree with chaotic fox on this The developer did a nixe job and its free I played chinese checkers a long time agoand the representation of the game rocks Brings back some food memories Developer Great job ty would have enjoyed the bluetooth option though in the free version Id reccommend it to my friends then plz Noobs the computer doesnt cheat you can do the same thing as them If you never played before use them as an example and dont be so impatient Jumping to conclusions doesnt make anyone look smart              Exactly what i expected thanks

I like the layout and the options but the computer was WAY to easy to beat in the free mode so I bought the app Well the computer isnt playing in stupid mode but it sure is stupid It makes dumb moves and there is no higher level than hard which simply isnt I can play my 5yearold at home I was looking for something challenging Wish I hadnt wasted my money           SoSo

After reading up on wikipedia about this game cause I just bought a set and havent played in years I decided I wanted to try capture mode so I got this app I have to say its very very good Its easy to use and looks good I like how you can take back your moves and decide when the other players moves I quickly learned capture mode but what really intrigued me was the long hop rule I skimmed over that part in wikipedia and wasnt interested but after trying it out wow Theres nothing better than a good strategy game with a fast pace Sometimes standard western Chinese checkers is annoying cause it takes too long Thank you guys for adding in this feature If you dont like it just take off the long hop rule Pretty straightforward Im actually going to buy the full version                 Amazing

Good and all but EXTREMELY limited unless you buy the full version 99 the full version I would give 5 stars also game rules are a little different        Just OK

I was really disappointed that you cant play with any human players without buying the full version That was the only reason I downloaded it and it definitely wasnt very clear on that in the instructions Plz at least let you try it with two human players        Only 1 player mode

Works great I lose about 60 percent of the time Two game modes both eastern and western no long hop rule for your enjoyment Zooms in and out of the board Difficulty is fair for me as an adult but would be hard for the kiddies Maybe I will pay 99 cents to unlock other difficulty modes Ads are a bit annoying but what do ya expect for free                 Works ok

This game should have a much higher rating than it does Compared to the others in the app store I like having the international long hop rule as an option popular outside the US And the Capture mode is a nice diversion once in a while I probably would have given this 4 stars but added one more to fairly balance out the 10yearolds who dont know how to read simple instructions NOTE TO DEVELOPER You did a very good job My guess the poor rating is because of that monotonous guitar riff in the background Even subconsciously it grates on my nerves And I like the games other sound effects I know the paid upgrade allows us to play our own music but there really should be an option to turn that annoyance off or not listen to any music if we choose And while Im being picky I would rather not have your logo written on the tabletop                 Better than expected

So after you create an update you go ahead and REMOVE options Now you can only play against one player when before you could play against 6 computers Sorry but ill be removing the app and not playing any more games made by you Thanks     Remove options in the update

This game is a fake While you play by the rules the computer skips as many wholes as it likes at a time I know its free but whats the point I wanted to buy the ful version but NO WAY This is really stupid Nobody checks the quality of these games or whether they are even playable before list them out there I will never buy anything from this company again Shame     Is this a joke

This game is TERRIBLE It looked fun but the computer is WAY to hard to beat You make a move and the computer takes advantage of that and scores 30 POINTS     AWFUL

This game does not play by the rules of Chinese checkers at all It cheats and then doesnt let me cheat And it really shouldnt cheat at all You cant jump over empty space Also it is really annoying how the screen moves in and out between turns which wastes time and makes the app look even more awful I DELETED THIS RIGHT AWAY     I cant believe this

Um guys The computer isnt cheating its using a new game mode that the developer designed that can be TURNED OFF Really now this app doesnt deserve the rating it has              Dont be so hasty to quit

Paid for my full version weeks ago Still waiting Even reported the problem and have had no response Super frustrating as I really like the game Still waiting I was charged and no full version and no response WTH It is the principle of the matter now     Bummed

So far the game is pretty good One annoying thing is the guitar riff repeat in the background and no option to turn it off You are able to toggle sound effects on and off but not the guitar riff repeat Not sure if this is an option that will be featured in the paid version or not I am a digital designer so I really look at the UI graphics These are pretty decent I do however really like the graphics of the other Chinese Checkers game in the App Store by the SoHoBros One feature that I would have liked is if you can actually pick up the marble and kind of flickdrag it to the spot where it snaps into place like Ive experienced in other ipodiphone games But otherwise it seems like a pretty good game so far Im debating on purchasing the full version Maybe with improvements           Good game overall but could use a few improvements

Hello I am one of the developers of this game from Play More First of all I would like to thank for all your precious support and valuable comments I would also like to apologize to those players who felt disappointed in this game In view of the comments players might be confused of the game rules in the game We believe that there is no random move in the game as the symmetrical jumping rule is a generally accepted rule in the Chinese society It means that a hop consists of jumping over a distant marble to a symmetrical position on the opposite side For example if there are two empty spaces between the moving marble and the jumpedover marble the moving marble lands on the opposite side with a gap of two empty spaces Before passing to the next player multiple jumps are allowed until no more jump could be made by the moving marble We are very sorry that we havent considered the various rules of the Chinese Checkers in different countries thoroughly We would sincerely consider adding an extra version with Western rules and tutorial so as to increase the diversity and variation Therefore please do not delete our game from your phone Updates are coming See you soon Enjoy This is the temporary tutorial of this game May be useful to someone HOP MODE Objective Chinese Checkers is a classic board game that can be played by 2 to 6 players Each player has 10 marbles of same color and each set of marbles are put in one point of the starshaped game board Your goal is to move all your marbles across the board to the starpoint directly opposite to your starting starpoint The faster the winner How To Play Having decided who plays first the players take turns moving a single marble of their own color per turn There are two ways to make a marble move 1 A marble can be moved into an adjacent hole 2 Or a marble can jump over one marble of any color in any direction to a symmetrical position on the opposite side provided the hole beyond the jumped marble is vacant Multiple jumps are allowed The marbles may be moved in and out of any holes on the board However once a marble is moved into its goal area it may not be moved out although it may be moved within the goal area Lets see how far u can jump CAPTURE MODE Objective Your goal is very simple capture as most marbles as you can How To Play All sixty marbles are put in the hexagonal field in the center of the game board The one hole in the center of the board is left unoccupied so that the game board starts out with a symmetrical hexagonal pattern The players take turns jumping any marbles over other marbles on the board The jumped over pieces are captured and collected in the players bin If no jump is left a marble can be moved into an adjacent hole until capture can be done The Last marble is belonged to the player who captured the secondlast marble            Apologize for our careless

I am going to give this game four stars and am also going to buy the full version If the full version is as nice as the lite version I intend to give it five stars I was initially quite disappointed the way the computer player appeared to be cheating and also by the limited game options unless buying the full version BUT I was VERY impressed that the developer responded so humbly and sincerely and gave what I consider to be a reasonable explanation regarding the jumping over empty holes and the various differences in Chinese and other countrys rules The graphics are beautiful and we have a variety of ways to play the game so it is like having 2 or 3 games for a very reasonable price of one But most of all I am impressed with the developer for willingness to work with us to make the game be one we are happy with              After much consideration

This app is a disappointment as the game looked so promising in the screenshots Ive been waiting FOREVER for a decent Chinese checkers to show up on the app store I dont know if its a bug or variant of the game I know nothing about but the opponent makes random moves across the board and you must make the traditional hop over marbles This alone makes the game unplayable and there is no tutorial or rule explanation in this app One other problem I noticed is the marbles are rather unresponsive to touch at times Its really unfortunate because the design of the game looks like it could be enjoyable The graphics are well done and the zoom works nicely If an update fixes the problems it may be worth a second look I would consider the full version and change my review Until then its just not the Chinese checkers I remember from childhood        Disappointing
