It does exactly what it says It allows you to easily record transactions in accounts and categories that you can customize to match your Quicken accounts and categories Then you can export a QIF file of the transactions from your iPhone to yourself From there Quicken at least the version I have Quicken 2013 can import the file The import was as smooth as silk This is the perfect app for what I want to do I don t want to have a complete 2 way synch of my Quicken files back and forth to my iPhone I just want to be able to record transactions when I m out and about and then import them into Quicken This app is perfect for that                     This is a great app Flaco1116

I use this app a lot the last update to my iphone running the latest os is having a few minor issues The date field does not let you scroll to an earlier date without accepting when you stop scrolloing the account selection does not always recognize when i tap the screen and when entering the catagory from a search widow it select the first item in the catagory list which is not even on my search window                     Great app but last update has issues on my iphone Jamesbmc

One feature I like about older versions of Quicken is that it respects your time on data entry iQIF does the same thing Before you travel with this do a couple of exports for accounts and categories and attach them through iTunes Even if you don t iQIF still respects your time by defaulting to today the last account you enter transactions to and figuring out that you ve finished typing an amount after entering the cents No enter or anything It just jumps as you are thankfully for Nice work                     Simple to the point Great UX zerolagtime

This is a well thought out app that is essential for anyone deeply involved with Quicken files that need to be kept up to date when traveling away from home Instead of accumulating dozens of receipts for data entry when you are home this app lets you enter them into Quicken data file on your mobile device that you email to yourself and import to Quicken when you get back home The app is very well written not at all bloated Because I was unfamiliar with the changes in the latest version of iTunes I requested help from the author in using iTunes to import all my accounts categories and classes from Quicken to iQIF I got an overnight response that was very detailed and removed my ignorance If you are a serious user of Quicken but aren t always near your desktop computer you need this excellent mobile app                     iQIF fills an important niche hjstaplet

This is an app that shouldn t exist If Intuit were doing their job there would be a nice Quicken app with sync Oddly there used to be a Quicken Mobile but Intuit never released it for iOS Unfortunately it seems Intuit have no interest in moving Quicken forward and in that absence this app is much needed It s not the prettiest interface but it does everything it needs to Note that the app creates QIF files Not all account types can accept QIF files so check your requirements                     Very useful dame wang

Works great for entering data only exporting to quicken this is not financial software This is a simple but what else would you want app like the quicken dashboard app except better because you can access all accounts simultaneously You can import account lists now which is a big help when you first start The list search function works better on iphone than in quicken 2007mac beacuse it searches the whole name e g given the category Business Expense Travel tra yields nothing in quicken but will match on the iphone Speaking of which the update to automatically curser to the search field for long lists is brilliant Proof the developer either uses the app or listens to users because every feature in the update addresses exactly the parts I found tedious or odd when entering data I am terrible at keeping on top of my finances but this app really helps me out Major kudos to the developer who continues to update and improve the app and would def help you troubleshoot if you had problems Worth the no question                     Perfect compliment to quicken alinabrian

I ve had my iPhone for 6 months and only missed one thing from my Palm Pocket Quicken This solves my problem excellently I downloaded the app last night exported my accounts and categories from Quicken During my lunch break today I entered a wallet full of receipts so easy and quick and just finished importing the transactions into Quicken It handled multiple accounts beautifully Thank you for providing a much needed product                     Finally a Quicken solution rxnne

Wow I can t think of an easier way to track things while on vacation or away from home for a short period of time This is SOOOOO much easier than taking my laptop and syncing the accounts to it before I leave and then syncing my home computer to my laptop when I get back One request Please PLEASE PLEASE Add a starting balance to each account It does not have to export or have anything to do with the program that will use the QIF but it would be so nice to set a starting balance when you leave for a trip let the transactions subtract from that balance and have a running total of how much is left in the account I will use this app and I will buy it again for the iPad as soon as I get one Please consider adding an account balance though Thanks again for writing such an awesome app                 GREAT Idea G-Mac_McD
