iShows 2 - The definitive TV Show Tracker powered by Trakt.tv

This app is pretty good but you need to pay to do basically anything track more than 4 shows Shouldnt be marketed as free        Not as advertised

I have tried every app in the store with Trakt integration and this app is nearly the best currently available If you use or dont mind portrait mode only then this app is one of two apps I recommend If you are like me and use your iPad exclusively in landscape mode then you will be disappointed that this app has no landscape support Currently it is the only portrait mode only app on my iPad with about 1400 of the 8000 apps Ive reviewed Typically I immediately delete any app on my iPad without landscape support but Im making a temporary exception for this one its that good Hopefully the developer will resolve this in a future release The only other I high priority wish list item for this app is an option to allow viewing even more shows per screen than the current option does Even using the option to display more shows it needs to offer more especially on the iPad With a few enhancements this app could become the best app in its class and a 5star app           Very good app but needs a few enhancements

The app is feat I love the trakt interaction I would like to be able to sort strictly by airtime and dont see all my missed shows before the next aired show              Great app but would wish for more sorting options

You have to pay to track more than three shows so if you need this app to track your three shows I think you have a memory problem     Can only track 3 shows

I tried so many TV show trackers I lost count iShows is the only one that I love to update because its both fast and easy Utility doesnt need to be opposed to beauty                 Best in its category Great beautiful app

One of the best if not the best app out there to track your tv shows with trakttv integration Syncing works smoothly and effortlessly Ive used a lot of these apps and so far this is by far the one with the best syncing Side Note I wish you guys would look into additional sorting options only unwatched episodes and probably a calendar view to see upcoming or past shows Also is it possible for the badge icon to only indicate shows that are already released I would have notifications for shows under Today but they arent available to see yet              Outstanding app

The complaints of having to pay are understandable of those who purchased the first version of this But the app has been updated and continues to provide a solid experience Some may not appreciate this perspective but that shouldnt diminish the value of this app I feel its stylish design simplicity and ability to sync seamlessly across all my devices makes the app worth every penny So nice to see the upcoming shows I love and notifications as theyre airing Its a keeper for me I noticed the new Plex app update created a very similar layout to this app I love it                 Very StreamlinedStylish App

The app is attractive to look at After logging into Trakttv I found it easy to select shows that I was already watching and add them to my list Of all the TV tracking apps Ive ever tried that was the easiest part of the whole experience The themes are a nice touch and the ability to preview them is very nicely done although after activating them on my iPad I had to force quit the app since I couldnt get the preferences screen to go away after reverting to the default appearance The main reason I decided to return to my existing solution has nothing to do with the price which I consider a very fair price for what is being offered here After marking a show as watched on my iPad it took a long time to sync to Trakt and then after that finished I was unable to get that watched episode to sync to my iPhone The funny thing is that as soon as I opened my existing solution which is also not perfect but has a different set of issues the watched episode synchronized over from Trakt immediately I may give this app another shot but I would only recommend it for someone who is only tracking shows on one device because I dont think cross device synchronizing is very reliable right now           Perfectly Average

Finally optimized for recent devices it is fast fluid doesnt lag like other endless customization HD artwork on iPad custom covers and on and on It is the best app for tracking                 Best App to Track TVShows

Ive tried most of the TV trackers that are in the App Store and this is the only one thats elegant and simple to use Not a lot of flash for the sake of flash It is a beautiful utility Im glad they also included an inapppurchase so that we can make sure that they stick around long enough for us to see an iShows 3                 Best TV Shows Tracker

While theres a few odd interactions in the settings screens the app is very well made I am sure you wont be able to find a better option in the store Ive tried quite a few And besides this being an excellent app with everything you need to track all your TV Shows if you were to need any assistance the developer is really good at doing everything possible to help you out                 Best TV Show tracker

While the app is a good idea the fact that you have to pay 399 in order to track more than 4 shows is ridiculous There is maybe 7 shows total I want to track and the money portion is absolutely crazy        Not Exactly Impressed

I used multiple apps to track my TV addiction throughout the years For many years I stayed on iTV Shows but since a few month the app became buggy mostly because I have a huge TV collection 300 shows I stayed with it because of a lack of a better alternative I decided to try iShows 2 and it became a pleasure once again to track my shows The integration with Trakttv is seamless which was very cumbersome for me on other apps Syncing between iPhone and iPad is fast and reliable The app is fast reactive and thanks to Trakttv has a huge database You can change the covers of the shows you like and put them in categories which is great for me I just have to star the shows Im currently watching I have more than 300 shows listed in total from shows I want to see at some points to shows i already saw and every time Ill start the app it will automatically go into this category for quick access No need to go through pages and pages of shows to find the one you want The extra theme are nice as well even though they could be worked out a little better some look rough on the edges Overall a great app probably the best right now for people very demanding like me                 The best app to track TV shows

They are trying to charge you 399 to use a backup file from their previous app Basically they pulled a bait switch because the original app isnt even available to download anymore There are better apps that dont charge please save yourself some money and download them instead     Bait Switch

This is a good app but Im not paying 399 for tracking my shows There are apps that let me do it for free If it was 099 I might still pay for it but 399 is way too expensive           Good app but not paying for it

This app is a perfect match to keep track of my tv series its beautiful and intuitive yet still customizable On the iPhone it is complete On the iPad however I would like to see landscape mode in the future                 The best TVtracker there is

Let me start by saying the redesign of this app is nothing short of gorgeous The apps is smooth and visually appealing and deserves kudos for all the customizations that it offers a user That being said the app has a fundamental flaw that will cause me to look elsewhere for a TV tracking app The app will not show you in any view how many days left to the next episode or the time of next showing unless you have marked all episodes as watched Now you may ask why is that important Well there are a couple of valid reasons 1 not all shows are aired at the same time all over the world I live in the US where shows are aired after lets say the UK I have watched all shows that have been aired in the US but because the app thinks I am behind I will never be able to see when the next showing is Second some TV shows are NOT episodic and dont require you to watch every single episode before it to enjoy it Ie Political or news shows and therefor you will also never be able to show the next airing date unless you explicitly mark all episodes as watched That may not be a big deal for some but if I have to work around in order for the app to show me a basic piece of information that IS shown when all episodes are watched then its not worth the effort If any of the above is important you then there are other great apps in the TV tracking category that will work for you The dev has communicated they have no intention of changing the app so Ill have to give 3 stars based on look feel but will reserve any high rating until the dev reconsiders           Looks and performs great but has a flaw

The time zone is wrong and I cant adjust it Basically makes this app useless for me until the app either correctly sets it or I can adjust it manually              Would love to use but

Updated 8172015 Actually digging this app the more I spend time with it I tried the discover tab and it recommended some shows that I would definitely not have know about if it wasnt for this app So far so good Older review Nice looking UI but it gets a bit busy quick Very customizable Needs some work with notifications At least the shows are listed and have ETA And it shows the ETA ahead of any other show tracker that I had before Ive used a competitors app for over a year and now they are not showing shows ETA 2 to 3 months in the future Bring Watch extension and make the app a little bit easier to navigate and youll have a killer TV tracker app              Its not perfect but its better then the rest

I watch a lot of TV shows and Ive tried many of the TV trackingviewing apps This one is by far my favorite                 Top of the Line

I like this one best of all the trackers Ive tried One thing missing is a tab for recently aired although you can order by next episode              Good app

How do you stop the season list of episodes from marking previous episodes as watched if you jump a season ie I mark season 2 as watched but I missed season 1 and it marks season 1 episodes as watched as well              Driving Me Insane

This is a nice app I paid for iShows 1 when the app was first released and have used it regularly to track all my shows Now that app is obsolete and I have to plunk down another 5 to keep track of unlimited shows I dont understand how it is legal let alone ethical to charge people to use an app then make it obsolete slap a 2 or 3 or 4 on it and charge people for the app again If I wanted to pay a subscription to use an app I would do just that Not have to plunk down more money each time the developer feels like heshe has milked the first app dry Have some decency and make updates to your existing app Or at least offer it for free to those who already paid for the first version This is not the first time I have seen this happen but its a real shame that I will now be deleting the app I refuse to continually pay for updates at the whims of the developer I get that there was a lot of work put into this but again it is greedy A lot of work goes into updates to apps that dont charge for a new version This is shameless doubledipping and Im not buying     Greedy double dip is a turnoff

Even though it is a little bit overpriced its an amazing and good looking app It delivers an amazing performance and its very easy to use One of my favorite things is that you can switch the posters of the shows this makes the app a lot more personal This is a must buy for people like me who love to keep track of their thousands of shows                 Amazing

Let me clear the air doesnt sync across devices um YES it does Even more it synced ALL my shows from my now obsolete iTV Shows 3 app using my Trakt TV account Pay to track shows um YES if you want free you get a free looking app that doesnt compare to the UI or polished look of iShows 2 You pay for what you get Funny how someone complains about 399 when they dropped at 300700 dollars on am iPhone I didnt see you get a phone from boost mobile Now as for the app Hands down the best I was using iTV shows 3 that used to be at the top until now Nice job devs and I was happy to pay for your amazing app without question                 Wow

I used another app to keep track of my tv shows and it had a boring interface This app is sharp and it has an exciting look So far with daily use I have not encountered any issues with the app one show didnt have its next episode in the system but was corrected within a day Glad theyre spending time on making updates to the app too                 Solid and pretty much flawless
