For some reason it was difficult understanding how the watch works and why I was always losing connection but later I knew how to use it and now able to receive text messages from my iphone to my smart watch Its no iphone I don t think its waterproof but it still works My advice would be use it as a watch and not as a sport watch                 Nevermind sms works for iphone Sanchman12
