The app works but will not advise me on my iPhone unless I open the app and yes I did delete the app and reinstall it but the same happens           Wth

One of my go to apps when it comes to traveling the subway Its easy to use intuitive and very accurate when it comes to train times and subway issues Great app                 Cant go wrong with this

I bought this app for the subway alerts Ive set them up but never get any alerts even when I look at the app and see there are alerts for my trains Without the alerts this is no better than several free apps     The Free Apps are Just as Good

This review pertains to the NYCMTA version I dont often pay for apps but this one has proved pretty invaluable for the 23 years Ive had it Its probably about 98 accurate on service changes and delays which is about light years ahead of the MTA itself and is invaluable on trip planning and maximizing your timeavoiding standing on platforms waiting for trains that never come                 One of the few apps worth paying for

Ive lived in NYC for 5 years and this is the only app I use for the MTA Not only does it show you offline times and service alerts but the map also shows you the little hidden entrances to each station If youre relying on Google Maps to get you where youre going good luck                 Best Subway App

I tried use app over 4 nights in NYC app was very confusing and I ended up using google maps app which gives you walking directions to subway stations and which trains to use Disappointment     Not able to use confusing

Negative stars I never write reviews doesnt everyone say that when they are writing their first Despite my reluctance to review anythingthis app is infuriating and I must say something Ive had it now for over 2 years and it has never improved The scheduled times are ALWAYS wrong the trains are either 25 minutes early or late The suggested routes are always wrong The scheduled service work is ALWAYS wrong I paid for this stupid app and at this point I think they owe me my money back for being so WRONG all the time I work late and like to schedule my life but when Im constantly being misdirected by my so called trusty MTA app its frustrating and I end up taking a cab Not a good app please provide NYers with something that is useful not a complete joke Bad     The WORST SUBWAY APP

I bought this app a few years back not even sure it costs 4 now and I use it every single time I go into the city When my bus is rolling up to the subway stop I check iTrans to see how much time I have to get to the platform since I have the live departures in my hand Explanations for construction rerouting are great for telling you how to get around the weekend track work My only problem I ever had with the app is when the R train had come back into full service after the R tunnel had shut down after Sandy the app didnt update to the new MTA subway map with the complete R line for several months somewhere around 46 I believe so it became a pain planning trips because it wouldnt make any trip itineraries with the R line involved So map changes are a little slow when it comes to updating the app but overall it does everything it says it would do and whenever I tell people about it I tell them its some of the best 4 I ever spent Definitely worth the purchase                 Best 4 ever spent

Love this app Very informative easy to use and accurate Looks good too For some reason the alert for delays on specific lines and times has stopped working with mine and others I believe so thats a bug Im patiently waiting for them to fix That alert helps immensely when I forget to check the app before I leave the house and there are delays for my train Get that resolved and its back to 5 stars from me              Great

Im really happy w this app and use it frequently to navigate the city My only criticism of this current version is that it seeks your current location when you open the map But Im in the subway and theres no reception So I have to begin by closing the popup that says they cant find me I know they cant But w iTrans I can find out how to get anywhere in the fastest way possible Very happy to have this app                 Use it almost daily

Does exactly what an app like should do The best part about this app is the times tables for each train Great work Works better than the MTA itself                 Every NYCer should have this Tourist too

Probably the best app i have ever purchases Trains schedule is about 90100 most of the time Due to crappy MTA service this app cannot be blamed for train delays                 Great app

Great app so far As a Brooklynite I travel to work from Brooklyn to the Bronx and I need to know how the trains run early in the morning As early as 600am I leave my house to travel to the Bronx I take two different trains So I need to know how underground traveling is Just purchased the app for 399 hope its worth it                 Awesome NYC Subway App

Never up to date on MTA service changes Says trains are running when they arent Says theyll be there and theyre not I can handle inaccurate train times but saying a train is going to run when it isnt Just screws up your entire commute and puts you in a compromising position underground without service DONT even take your time downloading     Terrible App NEVER accurate

Never go a day without using it Wish it updated on its own without me having to open the app before getting on the train but thats not a big thing                 Love this APPPPPP

As of 71915 push alerts are STILL broken The last update that said something about fixing push updates did NOTHING Dont buy this app if you need push notifications which are broken in iOS8 If you ever reinstall iOS 8 push notifications will not work until the developer updates the app The developer isnt answer emails or giving timeframes on an update so who knows if they ever fix it     Push notifications are broken no support

The train alerts do not work And its useless I cant put in a destination and it tell me how to get there Ive completely abandoned this app and gone back to Google Maps     This app does not work Waste of 45

I use this app every single day I use a variety of lines ACFQ23 and the scheduled times are spot on It literally allows me to keep every appointment and be on time I love it Worth every cent In a city like NYC my time is priceless That it shows how many minutes between stations on any given line I particularly love too This was the 3rd subway app I downloaded none of the others can compare                 Absolutely the best NYC subway app Period

Realtime advisories are the main thing I use it for Lately there are times that page has one unscheduled advisory rest of page blank w msg no scheduled advisories when that is patently untrue Today is an example A and C running on F line from W4th Darn it Luckily was able to take the D close to where I wanted to go           Used to be perfect now glitchy

I recommend it to everyone Great route planning inclusive of service changes works underground with no cell service So awesome Get it You wont be disappointed                 Best NYC transit app hands down

Just bought it and while its an order of magnitude better than the Embark NYC app the fact that 1 it thinks my Staten Island address is in Brooklyn even with zip code input and 2 directions are given step by step and no list option exists make this a 4 app I kinda wish only cost 2           Could be sooo much better
