I connect my iPad to the hyperdrive wifi network then go to the iUSBport I set up the FTP per the instructions When I click on the drive to open its content up in my iPad I gets the please wait message and nothing happens I left the unit for ten minutes but nothing     Doesn t work Islandboy85

Bought the Sanho iUSBPort HD and downloaded this App so we could watch MP4 videos in our iPads by streaming wirelessly using Wi Fi Very unreliable Sometimes there is no audio during playback Sometimes it just stops during playback and won t play again without rebooting the iUSBPort HD The App itself frequently freezes This is an interesting concept but not working well enough yet to recommend I d also like to see Sanho provide robust support for playback via Chromecast so you can play movies on an HD TV         Not ready for prime time toddphi

I received my iUSBport2 today Finally I can use the app to open and watch video It works well which surprised me Before the app was useless as other reviews have stated I would give it a better rating if the app had the ability to auto play next video file I do not see this setting in the app If I missed it and it is pointed out to me I will change my rating                 iUSBport2 banthapudu4788

Lacks a lot of features Does not allow for moving files from one folder to another Or downloading or uploading pictures from connected hard drives or I couldn t it figure out This app basically just allows you to view things Needs a lot of features like iStorage But the iUSBport is awesome I have had one for nearly two years and love it but this app is basically useless The only thing it is good for is to change network connection settings on the iUSBport Normally Hypershop makes a lot of good products I am sold on what they make But they fell short on this one Get iStorage instead and see all of it s features and you will know what I mean     USELESS get iStorage instead bweagle

Killer missing feature for me would be open in option for a file that iUSB cannot read Other than that this works as advertised I ve owned the app and the associated hardware for about a year now                 Works as advertised could be even better chitore

I use the device to store samples loops midi files etc used in making music I am able to copy paste files from the drive to the iPad but that doesn t help in opening them in a specific app                 Useful but needs Open In Sattech27

This app is a buggy app It doesn t support flac which whoever looking to stream high quality music large audience this device and app does not do its job It can t stream or play mp3 format that is in higher quality What is the point of using this app or iusbport device if it is slow to go back and forward in the folders This app is the worst by far in 2013 updates for any app Not recommended you buy this iusbport or download this app This company has abandoned the software and its been years since any major improvements and they can t get the minor ones right either     Buggy Viewing pictures only works The Truth!

The iUSB Port is a very cool device Sadly this companion app is a laughable little mess I am not patient but I shouldn t have to be This app fails in every aspect of being useful or intuitive It should be a simple task to just copy a file from my mass storage device attached to my iUSB Port I should be able to just see the file touch it and drag it to a destination folder app or whatnot without any trouble For photos that is true but moving something like a wav file is a painful adventure in frustration No Open In No easy Dropbox linking Just a stupid app that fails at being useful I asked around and keep hearing that I should set this up on my home PC network and router NO NO wrong I have iUSB Port to get away from a PC If I m supposed to involve a PC in any way then the iUSB device is a complete waste     No no no Wrong SmiteMatter

Works like a charm A little tricky to get setup Once it is setup though no known issues We use it on long road trips Although on my dream list I would have it be able to store apps on it too Right now only movies documents and photos can be stored and accessed on it                     Great App Great Product Webruler

I purchased the iUSBport in hopes of being able to transfer files between my devices and backup files to a portable hard drive Not so much successful at that I can view what s on a USB drive and even save some things to my idevice with out much problem But I haven t been able to save anything onto a USB device from my idevices It seems like its a one way only data path Honestly I m thinking there are some better devices to accomplish what you want So if your looking at buying one of these Don t expect a seamless experience You may have better luck than I have Don t count on it             Sort of works demented monkey

The app is not fully functional for the Canon T4i has listed Customer service says there should be a fix in the next couple weeks This should have been noted before purchasing the device Customer service was nice by extending my return Once the update is fixed and I can actually use the device I will update my review But for now I have to give it one is useless     Not fully functional Jaenatl

Pros Wireless Control Live Preview Easy to use interface Cons Custom shutter features More Control The previously labeled cameramator is now a lot better by using iUSBport for the camera but the functions are limited Most other mobile triggers have things that allow for super long exposures and or multiple timed exposures so that you can set it and forget it Without those features this is less helpful than even the simplest other applications even if the interface is nicer                 Good but could be better efenili

This only thing is does this app allow one to create a folder and upload download files If this app is supposed to do this function I tried the app out with my Hyperdrive UDMA2 device And it works to view files just find but I really need an app that can Upload download file to my UDMA2 I will probably go back to using FileBrower or fileExplorer that work great with my UDMA2 and has all the above functions             Ok app Johnger1234

I bought the iUSBport to help me store the hundreds of megabyte photos and videos on a portable HD that I take while on trips In the past I have taken a laptop along just to transfer photos taken both with my iPhone and my regular camera Now I do that an IPad My only complaint is that there is presently no iPhone version of this app                 Works As Advertised Kansas Bob
