iVBasic+DB

This is a nice small initial step for an app It has great potential for expansion improvement I purchased iVBasicDB to make a quick nice minimal Point of Sale app for friends who sell their merchandise at outdoor events This app was not capable of being used for that purpose It is advertised as being a subset of standard BASIC That is true and incomplete By incomplete I mean it does not say just how much of a subset I will be charitable and say that subset is at most 5 of BASIC The app does crash frequently Save your work as often as possible iVBasic has three traditional math functions Sin Cos and Tan Thats it iVBasic has no date functions Not good for DB programming iVBasic has no support for photos iVBasic only works in portrait mode An inane limitation iVBasic failed to show a disabled button as being disabled Not helpful iVBasic also has no way to distribute your code to iVBasic on another iOS device So much for working together within a small company iVBasic should increase its capability or reduce the price Bottom line this is a nice app to tinker with BASIC but not yet mature enough to be used for anything productive        HmmmmWhat to say

Support has been fantastic I am stretching the program limits on in some areas and they have great to work with I look forward to more releases and maturing of the program                 IvBasicDB
