This updated version of the story is entertaining for adults as well The interactive storyline is fun and interesting I love that the giant has Fee and Fum tattooed on his knuckles It cracks me up I downloaded this for my 3 year old but I may enjoy it even more than her Hilarious
Very nice graphics and some cool effects but my kids could not hear the story very well because the music is toooooo loud On the other hand it is a free app So no complaints for free Sound needs fixing
This is a fun and clever version of the classic tale with some innovative uses of the iPads tricks eg steering Jack but you should be able to turn the music down or off Clever but
This app is adorable and very engaging but I agree with others who commented about the music and the voices trailing off I also think that you could do without the links at the end A great app will cause people to seek out others by the developer As a parent and teacher I would be hesitant to use this with young children who dont need the distractions It needs a little tweaking at which point Id give it 5 stars Entertaining

My 3 year old really loved this app it has a lot of fun opportunities for child to interact with the story Really a lot of fun I rated it 3 out of 5 only because for some reason the audio would cut off the last 2 words on each page music was a bit loud distracted from the audio story Great app
I enjoyed listening to this story with my daughter The background music made hearing all of the words difficult Also there were pages when the last word of the page was not spoken Higher stars if you fix the background music to be in the background and less important than the spoken word I do like that the voice matches to the highlighted word Nice story but could use some minor fixes

I loaded this story onto our classroom iPads and the kids have enjoyed it I like the traditional style tale with the modern updated look to the characters The kids love all the interactive features in he pictures but I find the background music too loud and distracting We are working on comprehension skills and discussing the story elements such as characters setting problem solution order of events and it would help their learning if h music was turned down by at least half But otherwise a good app for classroom use Kindergarten teacher
Fun interactions and updated story but the constant thump thump of the background music is very distracting There needs to be an option to turn it off Also would be nice if character dialogs on each page turned off once you have listened to all of them but thats not a big deal Will look for other apps by this developer once the background music is fixed Nicely done

My two boys ages 5 8 loved this telling of Jack The interactions on the pages were fun They love dressing Jack and chasing Jack down the beanstalk but wish the giant could catch him Haha thats boys the background music is too loud for the narrator but we still loved it Really fun

Mu young son really likes the story Its a great rendition of Jack and the Beanstalk We agree with others that the music kind if overruns the speech and some of the other sound effects Also there was a crashing problem on the second page that resolved itself after a reboot Thanks for a great story Great effort only slightly marred by sound issues
