People who will enjoy JE are those interested in it s story If you liked Bioware s KOTOR but missed their next game If you liked Dragon Age and Mass Effect and wondered how the devs came up with plot devices romance options alignment systems puzzles story pacing NPC conversations etc If you need a fantastic wuxia story in medieval China then you can find a lot to interest you in JE I wish I had found this game back in 2005 after I played KOTOR and KOTOR 2 on the PC I am playing for the first time on my iPad2 I ve played KOTOR on iPad2 without issues but I did have issues with JE The first is that the audio not the video can cause a crash Water fire and other ambient noises during camp conversations is problematic I now turn off all sound before returning to camp which stinks because my NPCs always wish to progress the story through dialogue The second and worse problem is an inability to move during combat Sometimes I can move sideways and sometimes I can back up but only sometimes I can never move forward except by using an attack This is frustrating when facing a ranged attack opponent without any ranged attacks of my own I have to kick and punch my way against thin air in order to close with the enemy I cannot roll dodge during combat I can roll all the time out of combat but when it would be useful I am at a point in the arena where I think the complete lack of movement during combat may have ended my game If my game is stuck then I may see if it is on Steam If you are looking for a combat game then look elsewhere If you want this story then set combat to easy and go for it         Story Driven RPG Boaz1414

Managed 3 whole minutes of the game tutorial before I quit in disgust having wasted 10 Absolutely unworkable controls Tried about 30 times to follow instructions to block to no avail Graphics from 1980s game console Utterly unappealing Maybe interesting to retro players from pc but if you are looking for a fresh compelling RPG steer away from this mess     Simply horrible Gordon1707

I backed up my iphone 8 to my computer using itunes Then i used iexplorer to navigate to the apps jadeempire folder Found the config file Right clicked and clicked something like bring me to source file which highlighted a strange file with tons of letters Luckily i could open this file in windows10 notepad You could see all the advanced graphic settings I edited clampfps 1 to clamp fps 0 and saved Then i plugged phone into pc again and restored latest backup on my iphone It worked It takes some work but The fps is now buttery smooth and no longer capped at 30fps                     I removed 30fps cap RandalMcdaniel

The port is okay in general It might be good with a controller The touch controls on the iPhone are HORRIBLE I find it never moves where I want the style changes constantly when I m not touching near that button and it does AOE attack constantly when I m clearly over on the basic attack button I m playing it on PC at the same time it is a completely different experience I would be really POed if I had paid more than 99 cents             Bad controls Sarcmaster

Great game with fantastic battle mechanics great story line and not to mention the fun mini games to mix it up Just recently though I haven t been able to load my save up the bar gets loaded all the way and the game crashes                     Great port Zachy-Boii
