Do note that these recipes are written byfor seasoned cooks Some amounts are vague but its because they want you to flavor it to your taste and true cooking is done by feel and putting your heart into seasoning Only thing I find missing in this app is a recipe for the most important ingredient thats in almost every single recipe Dashi Id really like to know what they put in their dashi even without specifics of quantities so I could play with it Awesome authentic recipes
This app is good if you are already familiar with Japanese cooking and ingrediants Some of the stuff will be difficult to find unless you have access to an Asian grocery store Suggestions for substituttions for hard to find ingrediants would be helpful The photos are lovely but the instructions and espeacially the measurements are vague and lacking If you buy this expect to do allot of the cooking by feel and taste Over all a good app but not for novices Decent
this app is sooo cool i love that the food isnt so typical resto fare but more home style the directions are pretty straight forward although you need to tweak some of them to your own personal taste overall not perfect but definitely useful sugoi
