I have a bunch of these SpeakBoards and I like the idea but this one is laughable A third of the Japanese translations are wrong mispronounced or just weird The Japanese speaker says things like Give me an enema instead of Give me the check She sounds like a second or third generation kid who never quite learned proper adult language Please clean up the Japanese Good concept bad execution

Neither played any audio so although to give a review a have to give a star I really cant give it any stars Spanish and Japanese

This is quite a good app for basic Japanese phrases I guess my only concern is what happens when they respond back in Japanese But nicely done and very easily understood speaking voice Nice appmakes sense

The audio is too fast to understand and there needs to be a written version to help you pronounce the phrases Worthless

I wrote the developer many months ago back in Dec 2010 requesting that he fix various mistakes but it seems he doesnt mind selling an incorrect product The speaker does not pronounce Japanese correctly and often uses a g where a k is needed Every time I show this to a native Japanese speaker they just start to laugh If corrected it would be a good app Not real Japanese
