As another reviewer said you simply cup your mouth near the speaker and open and close it to manipulate the sound as you would with a real mouth harp Simple and effective
I thought this would be similar to the Ocarina in the way it was described However it has absolutely no response to breath or air motion and it only plays one single tone when tapped So keep your money it wouldnt be worth it if it were free I only wish I could get a refund I would give no stars if possible

Although this sounds like a real jawharp and can be played rhythmcally it would be nice if it was designed to play different pitches like a real jawharp Ok but could be better

Does exactly what it says it does I didnt think it would work on my iPod touch since it doesnt seem to have the speaker in the same place as the iPhone but it works great Actually works
Touch the app and it makes a boing sound You can modulate the sound by holding your iphone in front of your mouth and changing the shape of your mouth The idea is interesting but the execution is pretty weak Im glad it was free One trick pony
Ok I see a lot off people saying it dosnt play different pitches I found a soultion Put you mouth up to the speaker and make different sounds by moving your mouth I like it 55 Cool

Its important to know that u are not changing the sound using the microphone Put your mouth close up to the speaker Then open and close your mouth not completely closed and change the shape of the resonance chamber that is your mouth It does indeed work Developers I like it but itd be cool if you could vary the length of the note not just have one short note that can be played again and again Would it be hard to set it up like that with the notes duration lasting longer depending on how long you pressed on the screen Thanks for putting this together and for making it free Hint to users and idea for developers

Im unsure what the last reviewer was looking for or how he was playing it but this jaw harp plays exactly like a real one And yes Ive played a real one before Your mouth acts as a resonator and as you hold the phone next to your moving mouth you change the pitch and resonance of the tone Very lifelike application plays just like a real one I give it a 5 I give it five stars
Works great on my touch 2g I think some of the 1 star givers dont know what a jaw harp is You dont blow on it Im from queens ny and I know how to use it Got one at the 5 10 when I was a kids I think this instrument is kind of a backwoods southern thing In any case works great and is fun The clueless should check YouTube to see how the jh is used Works great
How hard is it to play a sound in response to a tap Apparently too hard for this app which responded sluggishly on my iPhone 4 and eventually stopped making sound at all the two times I ran it Ill just play my Snoopy jawharp instead Boring and Buggy
Me and my sister love playing around with this very clever for an app Very fun
Once you find out that you have to place your mouth at the SPEAKER at the top and then use your mouths shape to affect the sound its fun Until you start getting the corner of your iPhone all covered in spit Fun but a wet iPhone
