Ive been in recovery for 11 years and am learning so much regardless of whether or not its the real JoeCharlie All I know is that Im fascinated listening to these two guys explain the history and steps of AA in a way Ive never heard it before I LOVE how they play off each other and its never boring I just drove 7 hrs from Palm Springs to San Francisco and the drive flew by as I listened to these two The actual audio recording was done in 1998 probably by nonprofessional audio techs and the sound quality reflects that but the message is still worth it and more Although its not AAsanctioned its still well worth anyones time who wants to strengthen their program learn more about the disease of alcoholism addiction or work the AA program the way the big book intended for us to                 So interesting

This app is a complete waste of money and DOES NOT WORK Im filing a complaint     Leave it to an alcoholic

Excellent I listen almost every night My mom also an AA has been telling me about joe Charlie since the day I got sober I wish we still had old timers like these around Im glad they are hear on tape in spirit Highly recommended                 Miss

This app is snake oil No content is loaded you have to manually download and for me the downloads failed every time I tried Total waste of time and money DO NOT get this app MAJOR BUGS     NO CONTENT ON APP

If you are newly sober or have been around for some time or coming back from falling off the wagon this interpretation of the first 164 of the Big Book is absolutely life changing I cannot emphasize enough how much this talk has revolutionized my recovery If you are hesitant to own this dont be                 What a gift

I have enjoyed this app for a couple of years with my iphone 4s Now that I have an iphone 6 the app wont play anymore I have emailed the contact and have not had a reply I like to listen on long drives and hope it gets fixed soon TM        Needs an update or something

I have 17yrs of sobriety and I was introduced to the Joe and Charlie Tapes back in 2009 It gave me a new perspective on the Big Book A clear understanding and a new outlook on how the Big Book came about all those years ago I highly recommend this app for the new comers and the old timers I have used this app to as a tool for meetings and I am currently meeting with a group of girls now every Monday afternoon and we listen to two or three segments at a time I you want a clear understanding of the big book this is it It is worth more than the money it took for the app Great investment                 Absolutely a great tool for the recovering alcoholics

Its hard to review the app without reviewing Joe and Charlies big book presentation I dont know how Id even separate them so I wont I used to wish I were an alcoholic because my roommate and close friend got into AA began working the steps out of the big book and experienced an obvious and amazing spiritual transformation that continues to this day 9 years later I was fortunate to be in an area with many 12step fellowships and have worked many a program since then with great results But many of those fellowships at least locally did not have a clear message about how to work the steps We had many interesting pamphlets and shares but nothing was as powerful as finally being led to work them straight out of the AA big book last year I think that my understanding of the steps and my recovery grew tenfold when I started doing that A month ago I finally accepted that I was unlikely to listen to my Joe and Charlie cassettes anytime soon and purchased this app so I could listen in my car I would say that my understanding of the steps has increased by another tenfold in just that month I am so grateful to finally have an understanding deep enough to feel that I can carry the message not only of the transformation we EVENTUALLY get if we keep trying to work the steps using outside literature and our own ideas of what the steps mean and generally just hearing little scraps of what works in the rooms but of the enormous transformation we can get easily quickly and reliably if we just do what millions of people with all different problems have done for 75 years Anyone in any program can benefit from these speakers I bet that anyone in the world in fact could benefit from doing the steps as they describe them              Fantastically useful

I really love Joe Charlie Great Big Book study comforting to listen to at night for me when needing to fall asleep I have listened to these speakers on the free website and treat like at a actual Big Book study Big Book open highlighter and notes You will grow if you do the work They are dear friends available discretely with earphonebuds or like me late night listener for winding down day Worth the money                 Grateful listener

I am so grateful to have this indepth Big Book study on my phone I do wish there were some way on the app to keep track of which segments Ive listened to and where I left off on each and better bookmarking functions              Love The Content

Wonderful series for Alcoholics Anonymous Big Book Study HOWEVER the audio needs to be seriously boosted Its so low that its very difficult to hear even with an external speaker Boot the volume and itll be darn near perfect              Wonderful but needs a BOOST

I was able to listen to one part before none of them worked Dont waste your money Get to a meeting     Not worth it

Joe Charlie are funny humble helpful to my program I dont study the BB as often as I should My excuses include boredom Ive read this more than once I wanna read something else or something new I have to much to do right now I dont have time Blah blah blah I sound more like a 10 yr old than a 40 yr old I love to listen while working in my garden or around the house with my earphones on Keeps the neighbors wondering what I am laughing about out there only with my flowers With this app I have access to the BB anywhere anytime If I cant make a mtg this helps me from becoming too restless irritable discontent You cant beat the price either                 I love this app
