Joomla Admin Mobile! Lite

If your Joomla site is a blog then you can upload articles That is about all you can do Everything else is totally worthless user management does not find all users no plugin or module management     Lacking any real functionality

We loved the iPhone up front for the browsing experience but administering our sites with Safari was not the ideal experience the small screeen just made it alot of work This app takes that out of the picture and now weve got the best of both worldsease of use and we can do it anywhere Every Joomla admin should own this                 Indispensible

This is really sloppy and poorly executed More impotantly it doesnt work properly Shame on the developer Note Youll probably make more sales if your lite version actually functions     Sloppy

Now we can all update our joomla sites from starbucks Take a picture of the sweet one behind the counter and upload it to an article whilst listenting to Strawberry Fields Forever Great work yall Will no doubt get the full version                 At last joomladministration freedom

I tried to install the required Joomla extension on my Joomla site with no success After hunting and hunting for a clickable link to download and save the extension I finally figured out you have to join their site free to be able to then load the extension into their shopping cart system free THEN when finally getting the extension and trying to upload it to my Joomla site error message Ive installed many extensions before Im not a newbie Just way too much time work to before I can even TRY this app              If you cant install it

For a free app this one is the one to get to be able to manage your Joomla site on the go The support for this app and the paid version is excellent The support staff is knowledgeable and fast with awesome communication This app comes highly recommended                 Great App Excellent Support

Doesnt even open and no one can seem to get them to respond to this version or the paid version Dont waste your time I paid for the other version and have written them 5 times and nothing Im going to the better business beuro now     Crap

Wld love for this app to work and will pay for the full version if I can see the lite version working I get Server Error any time I try any function The window below the error msg has the HTML apparently for whatever page the app is trying to access Maybe it is incompatible with the Rockettheme template I am using or maybe you can fix the app and let me know     Server Error

I have found that it works well when you install the components on the joomla site I do have some issues with the fact that the articles are not set to frontpage even though they were submitted with the front page set to on You can find the article and set it On again but makes no sense in my book The fact that it works in landscape is helpful but needs some fine tuning           Useful but leaves something to be desired

I cant get anything but invalid login an I know my user and pass I use it daily     No good

Read the instructions and it works fine Its actually pretty fast too I can access my site securely and create new articles and work with menus and everything It doesnt give you access to components you have installed but for managing CORE features like users articles and menus it does the job                 AWESOME program

Apparently it requires a component install on the site I have no idea how to install it or what it does or how it works and the app description doesnt say so before you download it The app does not rotate horizontally so I have to pull my iPad from its case to use it vertically to use this app Im sorry the website works perfectly well and with much less frustration Waste of my time At least I didnt waste any money on it     What a frustrating app

This is great it lets me run my joomla site on the go But it really needs a few new features search especially for articles and users Definitely needs a WYSIWYG editor and an option to sort articles by date created and published If you add these features I will upgrade my review to 5 stars and I will by the full version of the app Thank you           Great but needs more features

Installed the plugin and connected to site from iPhone Published and article within 5 min of setup Went back and edited articles added pics all with no problem              Nice lite version

Could be better The free version is limited and full of ads The paid version is waaaay over priced If the paid version would be around 199 then it would be worth it           Okay

Works great and does exactly what it claims Follow the directions to get it working and you shouldnt have any problems Not a huge feature set but works well                 Quite Useful

The latest ad campaign in the lite version has rendered it useless Full screen ads pop up in intervals of 2 to 9 seconds regardless of what you are doing I understand ad supported free versions but this is insane     Lite Version Unuseable

Pretty cool just download the plugin from cms market install it enable it and activate web services on global config on all of your joomla sites It runs a little slow for me Im using 1st generation iPhone The only reason I didnt give a higher rating is because you cant add photos to articles But it does do everything it claims              It works

This app just needs a little more love for me to download the full version There should really be a wysiwyg so the user doesnt have to know HTML to handle editing an article Thats why folks use a CMS anywaybecause they dont know HTML Also the ability to view the changes which would take you to safari to view the page would also be a great feature Overall it looks like this app may have been started off with a whimper rather than with a bang It seems a bit unbaked or undercooked This looks like a good start though        Almost There

Wanted something simple to make posts to my Joomla site on the road This app makes it super simple and for free Its also nice to see my site settings but looks like I need the full version for more than blog posts Great software in all especially for the price                 Great for blogging

I too am getting can not connect because of the xmlrpc error says it needs version 2 The instructions are poor and there is no way to find an upgrade to 20 easily I enabled what I thought would be the plugins then became more frustrated On this developers site I saw a post suggesting to enable it in the control panel but his wording was totally off it called enable webservice not xmlrpc I also read that enabeling this can be a security risk this site does not mention this anyway I never could get this to work and for that matter I am not sure its this developers application as it seams from all the posts I am reading XMLRPC in joomla is buggy at best when hitting the webservice in joomla direct on I get an error so clearly the webservice is not working but two shames for this application better error handeling for us users that are smarter to understand the error better instructions and setup of the joomla backend are CRITICAL and shame for developing a really cool app on an unstable buggy joomla feature very dissapointing for those looking check out admin praise then have a new template for the ipad and it works very well with ipad and safari I simply was hopefull for a native ipad application     Another can not connect Joomla 15

I couldnt get it to connect to my server Installed the plugin into Joomla 15 with Virtuemart installed and it would keep giving me 404s or invalid resposes Needs work     Tried and Tried

Believe I once made a successful connection before Getting 404 error now on all sites probably after an update Willing to pay for something that works this isnt it for right now If there are additional instructions to make it work then they should come with the app For now Ill delete this one to make a spot for something thats functional     No go

I have problems with editing articles on my website on my ipad so i thought that it would be nice to have an app for that This one seemed to fit the bill and i liked that I could try it fot free However after a quick setup I got the message that the app could not connect because an old version of xlmrcp was installed My website is hosted on Hostpapa and I do not have any control over it     Could not connect
