The system for labeling letters as in or out is entirely manual and not convenient one cycles through the possible designations manually with the app not keeping track of which letters have been proven in or out It is too bad since this will be the only Jotto app left in OS 11 and to get proper functionality one will need to use a web site         Letter labeling is cumbersome Segalsegal

So glad your color scheme changed as it is easier on the eyes than before I really like your set up as well because it does not insult my intelligence as did another Jotto app I can play this Jotto for hours now Thanks for the changes P S I am noticing that when I have to interrupt the game or put my phone down for a few minutes my game is completely erased Please fix this bug in your next update so that this no longer happens Would have rated this game with 5 stars otherwise                 Love the changes but Ntrprtr2

I was very happy when I found this app Lots of fun to play Biggest disappointment is that I can t mark out letters in the words that I guessed as I did as a child when I used paper and pencil                     I always loved Jotto as a kid this app is fun to play Bubbie Sharon

Let s face it Jotto is Jotto But the new interface doesn t add much In fact they removed the personal best score which was the wrong way to go They should have added to that with player s top five                     Previous version better Touchmeister

Love the game but find there is no way to change levels of difficult ever Even quitting the game and relaunching I am set to Hard and can t choose another level Also there should never be double letters but that s just me Besides the ability to try another level I wish there were a fourth color for possibles             A problem 100acrewood

This is a classic quick game incorporating logic and word knowledge The design and play are good A couple of bugs a game in progress is sometimes lost when the app goes to the background or phone goes to sleep And the easiest level isn t supposed to have words with repeated letters but I do sometimes get them I look forward to more of this app in the future                     Good tcs3600

I have always enjoyed Jotto and always played with the no duplicate letters rule so I was surprised to get a word with just 4 letters of the alphabet in it Never mind it is still a great game and this is a good implementation                     Hard level allows duplicate letters HughEverett

Love this old family favorite we always play on card trips but you can t find Jotto pads anymore Love it that I can play against computer at my own pace and keep track of letters ruled out No changes needed for me                     Addicted MaryR1947

This is a pretty good little word app that fills in the gaps while waiting at the Dentist bus stop etc my one recommended addition would be a fourth color to enable letters to be marked as possible That way you could use green for positive red for negative white for untried and the fourth color for possible                 Pretty good little word app Mhd user

I like this app but there are a few things that I would change I would only allow a certain number of guesses before you lose the round Also I would reserve words with two of the same letter for the advanced rounds and I would not use completely obscure words that hardly anyone has ever heard of in the advanced rounds just use harder words to guess due to letter arrangement or repeat letters or more vowels and somewhat harder vocabulary not often used but words you ve heard of I would also very much like to be able to cross off the wrong letters in the words I ve guessed To the person who said they needed a tutorial you have to type your words from the key pad not the squares You use the squares to turn the letters green if you know they re in the word tap the letter twice and red if you know they re not tap it once                 Jenny Jobennoby

I agree with goblingurl It doesn t account for letters correctly My advice if you re considering buying this app is to wait for someone to come out with a better version     Allows the same letter to be counted twice Confusing Bmansmom

Been playing Jotto for a lot of years and this app is pretty good I wish it didn t allow repeat letters in the word it chooses And sometimes when say E is a letter and I type Queen as a guess it will say 2 and sometimes it will say 1 even though I know that E is the only letter It doesn t handle double letters consistently Other than that like the alphabet right there and the way the letters are red or green Sometimes I hit a letter by mistake that I ve already turned red or green and that messes me up but I just try very hard not to let my thumb travel over there Good app                 Very good version Goblingurl

Playing against computer is okay but disappointed in multi player I have original Jotto game and rules You always picked your own words They re always five letter words and you take turn after each guess This Jotto just not what I was hoping for We now just play through text message and use original game pages at each end         Doesn t play like original Jotto Nottruejotto

Reasonable implementation of the game Not 5 stars because of limited words for the hard level Sometimes able to guess word with 3 letters because I have done the same word several times Also one word that isn t a word mugho which oddly is the answer but when guessed is not an acceptable word Suggested improvements 1 Larger secret word vocabulary 2 Highlight letters in guessed words with same colors assigned in alphabet I e green for known letters red for eliminated patters 3 New game defaults to previous settings instead of requiring selection every time                 Fun Js627
