I read it every morning for top stories and weather Kcrg
I love reading the top news stories in my area via this app however it could improve on its lack of punctuation used in the stories It seems quotation marks and apostrophes are omitted making it often painful to read through the stories If they could improve that I would give it five stars without question Great app for the local news

The app doesnt bring up the whole story anymore it seems like it wont let you scroll passed what is on the opening screen Partial Stories
This does not work on my iOS 83 I get a cocoa error 3840 I tried to see if KCRG had any advice but no response from them on FB I enjoyed it while it worked but hard to rate something very high if it doesnt work for me Not working for me
You guys used to not have very many ads at all But recently it is littered with ads I have to close a full app ad when opening it You guys have ads on the menu You have banner ads throughout the news AND ads that pop up Its seriously getting annoying Too many ads
This sight needs a redesign Content is fine but its a challenge getting to it Its just hard to use

The content is usually decent for local news but there are so many grammar and spelling errors They need a good editor for app content Also there is literally an ad between each story It is incredibly annoying Too many ads too little proofreading

Now that KCRG is off of DirecTV I use this app to check local news and Hawkeye sports news My problems with the app is the navigation I wonder if the app developer actually went to school for UX Design Second issue is the news stories are chopped off at about 50 words I have to quit the app and maybe after a relaunch it will display the whole story Its tolerable
KCRG is not only the best source for local news but they have the mobile app and website bases covered as well Great Source
The news articles are short two paragraph blips most of the time and many times I find silly typos and grammar errors I stick with the Gazette and the Chicago Tribune for local news this app is an embarrassment to the area Room to improve
Im deleting this app after having it for a few months Not because it doesnt work its a functioning app but I use it for the weather and its never right Never Its going to pour for four days straight is actually 20 minutes of rain with nothing on the radar coming towards us 60s and rainy is actually 80s and sunny as hell Ever since I was little our family always trusted kcrg over any other news station in the area but the last year or so weve all noticed that they can never predict anything close at all Good app I guess
