This app has never worked for me I always found myself restarting the app on the Mac or iPhone to get it to work and always facing connectivity issues There are more free apps in the AppStore now that do work They have no problems connecting to my Mac If it wasn t for the key touch for websites option I would have given up on this app a long time ago If you just want an app to unlock and lock your Mac then take my advice skip this one and save your 1 for something useful     Has Connectivity Issues Shaker

UPDATED 1 18 2016 Well I came across this app I haven t used since it s initial release No matter what I did it didn t work before Now I have the iPhone 6s and it still doesn t work They say toggle off and on to authenticate So if I toggle off If I understand correctly I would lose everything in my Apple Wallet Kudos to the team for trying something I hate all the passwords we have to manage but once again I spent 45 minutes trying to get this to work and now their adding web sites Get the ONE thing fixed before adding more functions I know what I m doing generally when I use my Mac and if it takes what should be a simple app almost an hour and 3 different suggestions for issues what s the point It s quicker just to use my password instead of spending an hour again trying to get this working Last time I will attempt Good Luck I really had high hopes for someone to come up with a password solution I appreciate what your doing but getting it right before release should be a priority Have tried numerous times to reset the application Since seeing this on Product Hunt I thought I would give it a try Filled the F A Q and all instructions I have an iPhone 6 plus and a newer Mac with Bluetooth LE so it is not a hardware issue I am not sure what others did to get it to work but have too many tries I give up NEVER WORKED ONCE FOR ME     Never Worked and Have Newer iMac DJRICKZ

The OS X application is poorly built and launches Safari every time it is opened which makes it horrible to have in your Login Items to open automatically on start up And in my opinion the iOS app should prompt for Touch ID when opened instead of making you go though another step by tapping the screen the purpose of this application is convince and that is a hassle Update Just tried MacID and is much more refined with many more options and remedies all the issues I had with KeyTouch             Very promising but I am Jack's iTunes Account

This app does not work on my latest MacBook Pro or the iPhone 6 My iPhone and Mac are connected perfectly and function perfectly with Hand off etc So I know there is connectivity I installed the iPhone App and the Mac App and followed the instructions on each Didn t work Followed the instructions regarding Resetting the Mac App and iPhone App and re creating the connection I did this 5 times and the App just won t connect at all Wasted too much time on this and I am contacting Apple to get my money back complete waste     Garbage don t waste the time or money BrianMuench

To be honest I cannot say if I like the app since I cannot use it The list of requirements did not mention Bluetooth LE as a requirement so I bought KeyTouch When I tried to use the Mac client I received 2 warnings 1st TN Apps is not yet recognized by Apple as an approved developer and 2nd Bluetooth LE is required My 2011 Mac only has Bluetooth 2 Fix your stated requirements in the App Store please Don t make me click on the Report a Problem in the REVIEW section to find out I ve been handed the shaft         WARNING Requires Bluetooth LE sandifop

I love the concept of these types of apps however haven t found one that works every time This app doesn t use Bluetooth all the time so it saves your battery however you need to unlock you phone open the app then use your fingerprint to finally unlock your mac For me I d rather not go through all of those steps         Clunky and not faster than entering password to unlock KBinNYC
