Typos Really And what about posting the same cutandpaste stories day after day If this was a high school project I would be more tolerant But since its put together by grownups who pretend to be journalists its simply a waste of time and resources Is this app student project
Overall the new layout is just that I wouldnt consider it better or worse just different That is except the weather function When you tap on that it takes you directly to the traffic cams When I hit the weather I want it to show me current conditions and the forecast for the rest of the day Now I cant get that at all None of the other tiles show a comprehensive weather forecast or current conditions Traffic cams should be on a traffic tile not weather or at the least not the primary thing that pops up Weather
Used to love this mobile app but after KGW made all of their upgrades it is spotty at best 1st the iPad app went from full screen to 15X2 inches That has improved the screen is now back to 34 screen but the image play is halting and patchy Used to watch at 6pm but your 6pm feed is refusing to load on the iPad or iPhone Needs LOTS of work Have switched to KOIN for the 6pm news It got better the iPhone app is pretty stable but last time I checked the iPad app had reverted to small screen Keep working on it KGW news
The only reason I got this app was for the weather Before they changed it there was real time current location forecasts and now there is nothing at all Worthless traffic cams and only Portland weather Retarded update Weather part is trash
Hard to catch up on the news when youre assaulted with so many ads But I guess its no different than the KGW web site Crap content chock full of ads If you like advertisements its great

We dont watch television because of the grandchildren living with us ages 4 2 so this is a great way to be able to watch the live broadcasts Sometimes the live feed stops and then the sound and action is off when the feed resumes Wish the horoscopes would come back Like This App
This is my goto app for news especially local as well as weather even current traffic info I use the alerts feature which gives me important breaking traffic alerts and local news Only drawback is that some vídeos dont open I highly recommend the app Relevant Necessary

Good App particularly traffic info There are too many news updates for resolved events or silly minor stuff I want to know about active crimes potentially dangerous weather or other events that could threatening I dont need to here that there will be a compilation story about a several day old news story on the 500 news Too many silly news notifications
KGW abandoned a simple list format that was easy to use Now I am forced to scroll through every photostory I switched to KATU for that reason Dislike new format
I love this app for its weather and traffic info Recently on a trip to Texas the traffic map gave excellent info to keep us from being stuck The weather is great to see the Doppler and satellite views are very helpful KGW news and weather

I use this app for most of my local news I like its notification updates of major news articles Disappointed that recent upgrades did away with the World news tab I go to BBCs app now for that Glad to see that the editing is better than the past not as many grammatical issues now Needs more editing of material

Did they ever bother to cover the USA womens team winning the World Cup If so it was very briefly Basically very few stories are covered They put something up and leave until they can be bothered to change it which is very infrequently Slow to add new stories

The app is fine and works so long as you dont care about watching the videos They havent worked in ages once in a while Ill get lucky and one will actually load but it never happens more than once in 20 tries Anyways recently they started adding ads to the beginning of these videos that never come up And of course they load just fine Imagine that So now I get to watch a 30 second ad BEFORE getting a black screen Come on already Fix the bug Longest running bug award
