I like it I would like to be able to find the items on the ticker at the bottom of the screen on the news in the app Radar
As a news app this one has a nice and easy layout good graphics and their links usually are spot on For these reasons this is a great app However I find the contents at times quite disturbing I do not under any circumstances want to see articles that report animal abuse Articles like these are disgusting and is probably fodder for copycat mentality This is the reason for only giving 2 stars Questionable Content At Times

Best app for Houston news weather Start my day with KHOU11 everyday KHOU APP
Weather reports for the coastal area needs to include wind speed direction humidity and water temperature These are strong factors in the temperatures These facts are not included on five to seven day forecast reports and various other forecasts I live between Surfside Beach and San Luis Pass so I mostly use the Galveston forecast Our temperatures sometimes vary greatly for the Houston and inland temps Reweather
Love It I can always log in and find the latest news fast No commercial interruptions No hype Just the news MsThing
Some stories stay on main page too long Good App
Many of the current alerts are days old Ok but

It used to be better when it had the option to AirPlay on Apple tv No AirPlay
But couldnt the Traffic map be accessible at 6 am without scrolling down for ten minutes Very useful but

The fact is KHOU is the best They are on top of things When you are tired of all the bad news and the Bias news coverage go to KHOU KHOU has good news as well as the bad that is going on in our community They are not afraid to offend if it is the right thing and they have great courage when it comes to covering topics everyone else is afraid to touch due to political correctness I used to only watch channel 2News NBC
The channel 11 app is my favorite from all of the local news apps offered in Houston It updates quickly never crashes and provides more specific weather info than my iPhone or iPad I use both versions regularly and they are my sole source for local news other than Chronicle updates on Twitter Highly recommend I am giving it four stars because it gives an error message when you open it but this is remedied in a second so it doesnt bug me Still it is something small they need to take the time to fix because then wed have a perfect app Excellent local app
Great app When I was traveling it kept me up to date on local news but the weather section changed based my location Use it all of the time and I recommend using the push notifications Love it
As an ex Houston resident KHOU does an excellent job Your radar coverage is the best I check in every day Good to keep up with home

Some things about this app are good Needs a refresh capability eg Weather or traffic Kicks you back to main after time limitwhy If there were real motivation it would track the apps you use the most and bubble them to top At least be able to remove pieces you never use Ch2mediocrity
App has too many ads doesnt retain custom settings and isnt updated often enough Who wants to read old news and see irrelevant weather info Too many ads

Love the app except traffic is buried below worthless fluff The traffic tab is great butthis is Houston and traffic is more important than videos of fluffy kitties Other than thatkudos Put traffic closer to the top
Sadly I like this TV station but they almost always have outdated news posted I use another app for real time Houston news Old news
