This app is fairly useless for kids above the age of 3 It doesn t teach anything phonetically which is essential to learning at that age My 3 year old was easily able to finish but when I wrote the same words on a board she couldn t say it The use of pictures puts the emphasis more on identifying than actual reading The bobs scholastic books were much more useful and so was Kumon     For below 3 SidU2010

I just downloaded this app I was debating whether or not to get it and I am really glad I did I used it for the first time with my students today They like it I like that it can be customized my students like that they hear the words and the pictures used are actual photos not drawings I recommend this app                     This is a great app Gintahar

A few update suggestions for this educational research driven already good app 1 Make each word on off so the parent can add vocab step by step as child is ready 2 Allow pronunciation on off to be splittable i e pronounce for picture only or text only otherwise child can match sounds without reading when hint on or never gets pronunciation guide with hints off 3 Would be nice to make word lists from a master word bank Even without app is highly recommendable                 Good ap but updates would make unbeatable RocktownKat

This is good for language comprehension learning by any children My son is auditory processing impaired aka autistic this is very helpful I would like to see option to put three or four words sentence strip with picture merged with word to teach him fragment unit of sentence He learns best mastering small segments of sentence then see these put together to form a sentence This skill building style works well for autistic kid We like all your apps so far Thanks T Nguyen MD                     Must have DR.
