Downloaded on an iPhone 6 and iMac and worked well to scan ISBNs from books to paste into a library app Every other scan you might have one to a handful of erroneously read digits Since the library software automatically looked up the ISBN that was not a big problem because I could edit the digits and it was still a bit faster than fat fingering all the ISBN digits in However after less than 10 scans I started to get video commercials playing one after the other making the app unusable It s not accurate enough to pay for the upgrade which I wouldn t mind doing if it had greater accuracy and apparently it s not usable without the upgrade after a handful of scans I understand getting a return on your time investment and so I wouldn t mind a 10 sec commercial every half hour or so as long as I am on wifi anyway and not burning through my data limits with the current accuracy rate but this arrangement makes the fat fingering option much faster     Workable accuracy for my purposes but unusable after less than 10 scans ExitusReditus

Crashes on startup OS X 10 6 8     Won t run Msnthrop

It doesn t work as a barcode scanner because you can t pay a bill via internet banking as an example or fill a excel or numbers cell with the number So if I have to copy the number and paste in other app it will not save my time So the idea is great but it s not there Looking forward for improvements         Almost there Elias Kfoury

It is a good app the only one available I know that does what I need It copies the UPC and I get to paste it anywhere on my Mac The improvements I d like to see is to allow the scanner on my iPhone to rotate so I can use it vertically rather than horizontal My iPhone is a 6 Plus so it is more convenient to do vertical Another is I hope it would have a light available when needed on the scanner so in dark areas I can continue to scan I also wish the code scanned can be pasted on my iphone if needed on other apps With all those features this app would be a 10                 More Needed sc2358

I loaded both the iOS and Mac App They connected very quickly I had a hard time getting the camera to focus on the iPhone at first but i think you have to hit the screen where the red line is NOT on the screen I almost gave up but now can get it to scan pretty quick Now the barcode text goes into their OSX app s text box Now I need to figure out how to get it to go into any text box on the OS X screen             iPhone 4s running iOS 8 Clarknet

Would not sync between and iPhone 5s and a iMac 27 So never could even test it I love the concept though     Just didn t work foolswork.org

Worked for most of my barcodes but not all though one of those was an inkjet print Another small issue was connecting the Iphone to the Mac app but restarting both apps fixed it Other than that really worth it It does work                 Really liked it Needs minor fixes Entaum

Okay I can use this app at home and it can scan a bar code via the app on my iPhone and paste it into this app on the Mac So it does what it says However a few things At work I cannot get this to connect and I have no way of getting the iPhone and the Mac to talk to each other We have a really big wireless network at work with lots of IP addresses and I have no way to find the Mac within the iPhone app This is a bummer because I could really use this app at work when I m far away from the barcode scanner we have It would be good to provide me a way to connect the app to the Mac manually What would really be helpful would be if I could select a running application and say When I scan a barcode send the text string to this app at the position where the cursor is now That way I can put the cursor where I want my barcode to be read into scan the barcode and boom the string is where I need it No need to copy and paste the string into the app on my own So it has potential but it definitely needs some work         Has potential but needs some fixing VXBush

The idea is great the app is easy and fast BUT in my case it gets numbers in a incorrect order This will be a great app once it s more accurated Also the problem can be that I m using an iPHone 4 Maybe it works better in iPHone 4S camera         Not accurated Grandeabc

on the barcodes I tried it bills to pay on my online bank it failed to read the barcodes accurately it missed the last digit from each group of numbers on the barcode Besides this serious flaw it recognizes the barcode very quickly and also quickly sends the number to the mac although with errors So if you can fix this issue it could be a greatly useful app         needs improvements chimp420

I can t really give the app a review because it threw a hard crash upon startup every time Never saw it run Deleted it Too bad I need a barcode scanner to test with     App crashes every time on Snow Leopard Macbook Pro MS39730

I do a lot of product searches using barcodes this app is really useful for that I don t have to keep keying in the codes manually the code just simply appears on my Mac right after I scan it And with my Mac not having a numeric keyboard this app comes in even more handy I also like how you don t have to think about connecting once both apps on your phone and Mac are open they re automatically connected I highly recommend this if you need a fast way to transfer barcodes from a product to your computer It gets the job done                     Must Have Barcode Reading App million7

I could not complete a single scan without a pop up asking me to upgrade to the Pro version This is the message in the pop up Upgrade to Kinoni Barcode Reader Pro now for unlimited barcode scanning If you want to continue using free version you will get more scans in 29 days So I guess it is free if I want to import one item every 29 days     Not as free as advertised JBR63

Don t bother with this one nothing works you scan a barcode and it wants you to purchase the app NOT FREE     Garbage Arcoms
