Kinoni Barcode Reader - Wireless Barcode Scanner

This app is really good it does exactly what it says I gave it three stars due to the fact that I collect comics and some of my comics have 1 large barcode and another mini barcode the scanner cant detect both Thats what I really need in order for me to keep track of my comics Oh and it adds a zero in front and the barcode doesnt have a zero and my software wont add my comic with the zero In the end its for single barcodes but if you collect comics like me it sort of a waste of money unless they up date it soon Crossing my fingers           Almost Perfect

What are you thinking     iPhone app without osx support

I needed an app that would reliably read barcodes from random commercial products via my iPhone 5 and transmit the number to my Mac running Mavericks This app provided that extremely well in a nofrills way Additionally it had no problem reading a variety of different sizes of barcodes in difficult situations in low light behind plastic upsidedown etc For those of you wondering there is a confirmation beep on the phone when the scan is successful and then the number is put into the copypaste buffer on the computer At that point you can paste it immediately into any program The program on the Mac just kind of sits in the background but does show the last scanned number when you switch over to it I suppose I dont mind the ads because I often pause between scans anyway I scanned over 50 different items in my first session and havent hit my limit for total scans It would be nice to know what that limit was however Why its not perfect Documentation is a bit lacking it seemed a little mysterious at first Having a historylist of all scanned codes would be incredibly helpful and make this worth the inapp upgrade price Ditto for a multiitem scanning capability would be nice not to have to paste after every single scan if that doesnt suit your use case Any minor gripes aside this is a onetrickpony that knows its trick very well              Fantastic OS X integration just works

This is one of the coolest barcode reading apps Ive found so far not only does it scan the barcode but it sends a copy of the upc number to your computer so you can have a record of what you scanned ive only used it a few times but so far its a great app                 great barcode reading app

I downloaded the free version to see if it would fit my needs After scanning TWO barcodes it tells me I can either upgrade or wait THIRTY days for more scans Are you kidding me Theres no way Im spending 6 if youre going to advertise your product as free then limit us so much it cant even be effectively tested     How can I test with 2 scans

Despite the adware I was able to scan in the barcodes for our inventory using an iPad a MacBook and this app Got the info needed and Im sure the one without the ads is even better Our only criticism would be because we had a lot of barcodes next to each other it had a hard time knowing which one to scan despite being lined up with the red line through the intended target Ended up making a mask out of sticky notes and got pretty fast at setting it up Keep refining its a very good program and pairing it with the Mac is a great addition              Handy app

Downloaded the free version and it glitches and I ran out of free scans without getting any so I ended up purchasing the full app its horrible It will only scan about 10 of barcodes and it doesnt tell u it scanned the barcode so you have to constantly check your computer to see if it went through I wish I could get a refund but worst 6 ever spent     Horrible app

The integration with your computer is pretty slick with good options for customizing what info is added with each scan such as a carriage return However the app provides no user feedback when a scan is successful such as a beep vibration or even on screen indication As a result in testing I successfully scanned just 65 of barcodes making it a lessthanusable tool        Nice integration but no successful scan feedback

The app itself works decent Detection is hit it miss but mostly works well However due to video ads that last ten seconds after every scan I make I cant properly test Had it just had stripe ads at the top I would have purchased full version As is no not able to test properly        Ads kill purchase chance

Couldnt be more pleased flawless app saved me 50100 dollars and much more convenient                 10 stars

Ive been waiting for a good Barcode scanner for Mac for a while now Kinoni works great for us because we are always traveling and its great to use to know if we are getting good deals out of town Also great for band merchandising on the road Highly recommended                 Finally a good scanner for Mac
