I have no idea what these guys are doing in the background but they by far used more battery than any other application on my phone iPhone X iOS 11 1 2 Location tracking settings were turned off And to compare to other news applications they consumed more than Apple News Reuters BBC Euronews and Bloomberg Professional combined So there s no way any local news coverage refreshed in the background would compare to the volume of international news I get from the other wires I actually like KIRO for local TV coverage but the app got the boot     Battery usage out of control hamcap

The KIRO website is unusable in the Facebook app because it s so busy trying to load ads excessive unrelated content and play video When it finally does manage to load it pops over a full page ad that tries to redirect to this app I installed it just to leave this review Your user hostile tactics are not appreciated     Unusable Apple worse UX than FB?

Down loaded the app in order to watch the special broadcast of seafair Sunday starting at 6 30 All it does is give me an error message Tried several times Very disappointed     No seafair after show Tkblkvr

Here s the scenario You get a notice in your newsfeed about a compelling local story You click on it It opens the KIRO app where you are treated to several commercials Commercials end aaaaaand where s the story you clicked on It s not there You have to hunt for it Terrible No thank you There are better ways to get local news I ll go there     Frustrating click bait App Blarfy!
