Edit i use it on my ipad and it would totally make sense to have a full resolution ipad version as more surface leads to better control Please make it work on the ipad as well I just started and I love it No more ready made tricks welcome to live tweaking Although it does not seem to impact the quality of the finished picture I think the management of the physics of the collodion could be improved That would make it a fivey For now it seems more like sticky marbles in a bag rather than collodion Also the frame around the finished picture could be slightly more detailed Everything else is a lot of fun I notice the liquid Is always dropped on the bottom left side of the picture I find it annoying I would rather pour it at the location of the touch of my finger I am also wondering if the quantity of liquid really influences the volume of liquid or its strength I often find the liquid a bit too strong giving results slightly too harsh              Very Nice

I think this is a pretty fun spin on modern photography I look forward to seeing what features and functionality the updated versions will bring                 Original and fun

I love using it for creating surreal backgrounds that I use in my collages I dont use it a lot for a finished image but the start of creating a new piece Works well for my use              Backgrounds

Very original I really dig the look I really admire a developer that listens to the customer                 Nice effect and fun to use

Just got this and love the process Its pretty unique The results vary depending on the movement of the liquid on the image What I would love option to have date on or off ability to import from camera roll and full resolution as Im a fine art photographer and print fairly large              Very cool

As stated by other reviewers this needs importing from your photos Also Id like to use of both cameras not just one of them Hard to control I get dark blotches where I dont want them even though I have a light setting and am constantly moving the liquid around              Needs import and use of both cameras

1 I dont like the black clip marks in the corners They need to be cropped out and Im tired of losing image derails 2 I dont like the imposed crop at the beginning of the process 3 The effects are cool but could be much better The effect always seems too extreme to me 4 Most apps offer support for User issues This one doesnt 5 The Developer does not seem interested in Updates or improvement in this app     No app support

Like this very much but without being able to import photos it is of limited use Please consider this also would be nice to use on iPad           Cool APP

I like this app but I also agree I would use it more if I could import photos from my library I think it would also be cool to develop in color Either way its a neat app cant wait to see where it goes           Unique

I dont think the creators of this app did much research on how the actual wet plate collodion process works and what the resulting plates look like I wont go into the details about its inaccuracies though Of course and this is coming from a wet plate practitioner of several years its impossible to completely digitally recreate anything approximating this process and indeed it defeats the purpose to try to do so That being said it is a fun app to mess around with for a little while but if you want wet plate dont look here           Alright but definitely not wet plate

I picked this up a few months ago and enjoyed it very much but ever since the update Ive been unable to do anything with the photos once Im done with processing No saving to my camera roll to emailing nothing I hope this issue gets addressed soon     Was a great app

Loved this app yesterday Was happy to see a new version released that would allow me to use pictures already in my picture roll iPhone 5 Now after trying several times to develop and save a picture with no success Im not feeling the love I can open a picture from my gallery and develop it but when I try to save it or publish it the app closes Hope this is fixed soon so I can feel the love again     Issue with latest version

Unique app with neat results Needs the ability to import photos This is too long a process to do real time outside of experimenting Max resolution is 2080 x 2706 Please provide full resolution at least as an option Also I dont want a date stamp on my pics Please give the option to remove it Thank you for the ability to shoot both 3 x 4 and 1 x 1 format Touch to focus would be nice Looking forward to future updates           FUN

This has fantastic potential Its a beautiful process and I like the handling I was VERY disappointed when I realized that I cannot export the images in high res or at least the resolution that I was shooting in Importing photos could be useful but I like the fact that the process is unique to the pictures you take For the same reason I like that you cannot start over This process should be a little difficult as the actual kolodian printing was but let us be rewarded with a fullresolution file at the end        Strongly agree with the above criticism

Really nice results and faster than actual wet plate collodion love the look the aspect ratio the framing and the lens on the camera Wish you could save and redo the photo if you overdevelop but I guess the one of a kind nature is part of the fun                 So cool

So far every time I take a picture it crashes I have the iPod Touch 5th gen so it should be working Please fix     CRASHING

Its fun a good idea A friend of mine that does real wet plate collodion printing isnt so sure about it though One thing that needs to get fixed is if I turn the geotagging off please keep it off and not default to on every single time I want to take a picture Also if someone pays for an app dont ask them to promote it for you too           Its ok

I love having the option to work with my iPhone photos a little more in depth and have some control over the extent of the effect and how its applied Even virtual chemicals are more rewarding than none at all Latest update is definitely a winner now that the date can be turned off and other photos imported                 Great Unique Photo App

Produces nice effect I love the control However it would be much better if you could adjust the tone It lacks that typical sepia warmth           Nice but it lacks warmth

This is a fun app I only wish that it had an option to save photos without applying the triangle effect in the corners or adding the default frame An undo option to start over with the original photo would be very handy But it has potential              Fun

Export full Rez and its a winner Some have complained about the speedclearly theyve never spent hours in a darkroom LOL Its not THAT long of a wait AND it gives control to the artistrather than simply the programmer But again full Rez output would be outstanding And the difference between kinda cool and really useful              Almost there

The composition skews to the left I am a stickler for composition If the app cant take a picture how I composed it then I want my money back Please fix this very important detail     Composition problem

Want to see your photo develop and be the master of what comes out You can with this app You can choose to take your time or hurry up No one will duplicate your photo Its a simple app and could use some tweaks on the cropping but it does what it says it will do Lots of fun and no chemical smell                 Fun fun fun

Not one for writing reviews But soooo loving this app As an experimenter with film photography and digital effects n camerathis app provides the perfect fix for satisfying that thrill Cant wait to use it for various projects and discover its potential              Film fun

I like this app But here are a few things that would make this app awesome 1 a choice of frames including no frame at all I dont particularly like the triangles in the frame corners and there is no way to turn this off 2 A darkroom where further edits could be done I realize this is not a photo editing app but I like being able to perfect a photo Im just going to import my koloid photos to another app for fine tuning anyway would be nice to have more editing options here so I dont have to do that 3 Ability to do color photos I know its not traditional and the app isnt about color photos but that factor would make this app brilliant Also Ive noticed that what you see right before you hit the finish button is not what you get in the finished photo I really wish there was more accuracy here The finished photos lack the gorgeous cloudy milky goodness that you see in the development phase              Interestingin a good way

I love the app But please allow for photo imports then Ill give you five stars              Import Photos a MUST

Koloid is one of about seven apps I use to shoot and process iPhotos The funky effects you get from swishing the developer over a photo can be pretty cool I dont use it a lot but when I want the uneven shading Koloid produces it works well Im hoping the developer comes up with some more options at which point Id give it five stars              Great addon app

This is a really cool app for all the fans of analog photography Requires a bit of patience and skills but the results can amaze every time you take a snapshot I love it                 Great
