Basically an English dictionary with Korean translationand vise versa but no breakdown nor pronaunciations for Korean           Glorified English dictionary

Impossible to scroll updown slowly It thinks you clicked a hyperlink and jumps to another definition Very annoying and the developer hasnt updated over a year Try a different dictionary than this     Do not buy this

This is a good app Most of the negative reviews of this app are misleading This dictionary is very functional and useful Yes it is made for koreans learning english not viceversa but almost every electronic koreanenglish dictionary is Some people complained about it not having the written korean pronunciation It gives the words in Hangul which is the Korean alphabet which is a phonetic alphabet thats all you need Anyone learning Korean should learn hangul immediately So far is my use of the dictionary when teaching english it has been very helpful The only draw back is my ipads inability to type hangul which is not the apps fault plus that should get fixed with the 42 update For the amount you pay it is a good dictionary I would defiantly recommend it to anyone with an ipad in Korea                 Very Good Dictionary app

Not really helpful when youre trying to learn korean it doesnt go both ways and theres no audio for learning korean words i just wasted 6i want it back DO NOT BUY     No

Hey as a professional linguist I cant tell you how great this is It doesnt have quite as much vocab as the electronic dictionaries but at 499 its amazing Thanks for putting the effort into this I look forward to the updates                 Awesome

I wouldnt exactly recomend it for nonnative speakers This would be the most valuable for people with at least a good grasp of conversational korean with reading and writing skills already concretized The reason being is that some words only have a korean translation available but it is as good as other 200 korean electronic dictionaries An awesome additional feature would be a voice synthesizer              Great general dictionary but

A fantastic dictionary and the new interface is great simple clean and much improved over the old one which is still featured on the sample screen shots at the time if this review The dictionary used offline is as good or better than other KE dictionaries but online resources go way beyond that Recommended strongly for students and proffessionals Korean is in Hangul not romanized This is an incredible bargain                 I use it happily every day

Offers KoreanEnglish and EnglishKorean look up Its better than the other options currently available on itunes the other popular one having serious gaps in vocabulary and the other two offering only oneway lookup The jump feature is nice and very useful to check words That said the dictionary is still far from perfect Some simple words are missing or oddly give only a KoreanKorean or EnglishEnglish translation of the word The Ultralingua series of dictionaries are far better although also far more expensive and still without Korean R              Better than the other options available

When I downloaded this it was fine Then we got a magic update I know what the word means in English thats why I am looking it up I want to make that word Korean So dumb Why did you do this app is nearly useless now Fix it Till then one star     Wow

I cant compare this to other Korean dictionaries but I can say that it does work and lets me look up the occasional Korean word with ease              ExPalmNewton

The app is frequently missing common words and just as frequently provides no translations for words both in Korean or English but provide a definition of that word in the same language as it was looked up I highly suggest getting another KOR ENG dictionary     Not worth cheaping out over

Im annoyed to have spent this much money on a dictionary thats missing basic words like mother 엄 마 Basically useless     Doesnt have basic words

I live in Seoul and wanted a portable way to translate the Korean words I see using the Hangul Korean alphabet This application is great I had a little trouble at first loading the Korean keyboard but the designers replied promptly to my question and all is working fine now Highly recommended                 Just what I needed

I ran my standard test on EnglishKorean dictionaries by looking up the word brother and this one failed The Korean word for brother is different depending on your gender and wether the sibling is older or younger than you This one only mentions the word for a male referring to an older sibling without explaining the specific usage and the entry includes words like 친구 friend which I think is horrible to include without an explanation This would be nice if you were an advanced speaker and just needed to be reminded of what a word means but it would be very confusing for a beginner to try and use Also if youre in Korea the dictionary that comes free on all Korean cell phones while not very good is better than this one        Very limited

For 6 its a good dictionary Yes it is true that this dictionary is probably more helpful for a Korean learning English If youre an English speaker learning Korean I think this dictionary is helpful after you have a grasp of Hangeul I use it every day when I come across an unknown word and 95 of the time I find the English def There are some usability issues that I have with it The sensitivity settings need to be adjusted I want to scroll through a definition sometimes and instead of scrolling it highlights a word in that def and searches The unwanted word search is made worse when the search doesnt render any results because it looks up words with any additional characters adjacent to it For example if I click the word 안녕 instead of searching 안녕 the program searches 안녕           OK

This is a pretty exhaustive dictionary though sometimes this makes it hard to sift through the multiple dictionaries to find what youre looking for One thing that I would highly recommend that the developers add to the next version an option to search by HANJA traditional Chinese characters Or if there already is this feature I cant figure out how to make it work can anyone explain to me how There are so many Korean words with similar pronunciations that I find myself often wanting to search for a word by Hanja Being able to search by Hanja in addition to Hangul and English gives one the ultimate advantage over a traditional paper dictionary Plus its just a really cool tool if you also have to know some Chinese andor are currently studying Chinese in addition to Korean           Hanja

please keep updating with more words n more words Itd be better if take comprehensive official dictionaries by famous dictionary pulblisher better design and easy to see interface This includes betterprofessional icon design PLEASE thesaurus If updated as above this application will be a far winner among its kind Please consider it and try your best Thank you              Good can be excellent

This dictionary is only useful if you are Korean learning English There are no Korean pronounciation tools and translations all come in English or Korean character script I am preparing to move to Korea and I feel I wasted my money on this ap     Do Not Use If You Are Studying Korean

I spent too much money testing out dictionaries and this cheap one turned out the be the best and most streamline Jut needs more entries and slang This one searches while you type which is a necessity              Limited words but still best

Cant find the word Im looking for half the time and when I do Im not sure which definition of the word is the one Im looking for For those on a budget its not bad but I think its wise to save up for the Donga Prime one or one from another distinguished publisher        Not good for learning Korean

For its price it is well worth it But the best part is that it runs offline so no Internet connection is necessary for us iPod Touch users                 Best KEEK dictionary app so far

I got this item 4 days ago basically This program is not perfect It mean this dictionary is worse than electronic dictionaries but my ipod touch is much lighter than my electronic dictionary and I am always with ipod It provides EK EE at the same time              This is not perfect but I like it
