This app is great for stimulating new dinner or lunch ideas I get bored of the things I know how to cook so fast so this is a fun way for me to keep dinnertime from seeming routine I like to mix and match parts of the recipes to make it more to my liking or include a meat from one recipe with a salad or grain option from another The favorites option is cool too                     Ooooh and I like it Wedontreallyplay

It s very disappointing that the app incentivizes you to save favorites but there is no way to actually search them Not even categorize them at all plus the sort order changes randomly every time you open it         Still no way to search your favorite recipes merhault

I am really terrible at cooking but I really wanted to learn how to show off to my wife since she cooks lunch and dinner every day for my daughter and I KptnCook sounded like a great idea but I found the app lacking as it seems to be designed for people in California they base the market prices and availability off of cosco and whole foods who can go to the grocery store daily I think I m most likely in the norm being a person that only goes grocery shopping once a week so being able to see only one day at a time really limits what I can do Also in the small town I live in we have none of the grocery stores they list we don t even have a organic foods store so if you don t live in a big city the app is probably not for you I applaud the teams idea but unfortunately like most startups hey are focusing on Silicon Valley instead of the real world 3 stars             Good idea but not for those living outside of California IbizaLaoba
