The app continues to display old news During a recent major flooding there were constant banner notifications but when I went to the app the new info was nowhere to be found Just the same days old stories and videos Often the videos are more than a week old or don t even have anything to do with the banner headline that was linked to the video I would like to know what is breaking news not last weeks stories that have been sitting in this app with nearly non existent updates UPDATE 7 5 16 PLEASE STOP with the constant notifications alarms about nothing important Notifications alarms should be saved for pressing and important and breaking news Otherwise they are just annoying and likely to be ignored after awhile     JUNK FIX THE APP Nevadadreamer

This last version update may be fine for a small screen but is horrendous for an iPad because of laborious searching to even discover what you want to read I liked the previous format where i could swipe up down right to find my interests KTVN has also sold out to the advertisers in greater detail Now the app looks like the rivals and I may go to them     This used to be the best news app in Reno NowayJose124

The main reason I used this app was for its local breaking news notifications But in one of their recent updates the app now has added useless notifications all of the time Tune in at 5 PM Ellen s on now etc It s extremely annoying and there is no way to disable them short of disabling all notifications defeating the purpose of the app They ve also recently added ads which are annoying when trying to just read the news I ve deleted it and found another news source     Ads and Useless Notifications avidxfire

I used to like this app and use it frequently but it has gone to hell with nuisance updates to my phone and iPad constantly sending notifications I do not need to know every time it s going to rain 3 5 times a day and receive each one TWICE a couple seconds apart you idiots It was much better before someone else obviously took over Can t stand it now For anyone interested in getting this app under no circumstances should you have your notifications turned on Consider yourself warned Hello KRNV app     Ridiculous updates constantly Panfire

About every two weeks they decide to send push notifications to devices and when they do you are sure to receive at least 3 of the same one in about a two hour time span Then they remember that they haven t sent out push notifications in two weeks then they start sending pointless news articles Rest of app is okay         Notifications for everyone matalaweb94

Especially with its new format this is easily the best news app for the Reno Tahoe area and it s my go to Did you notice my correct use of its vs it s You will never see this from whatever dull spark they have writing the stories at Channel 2 Half the stories start with It happened on insert street corner or date here which sounds so stupid The grammar punctuation and spelling errors are abundant It is really sad for a professional news organization The very first headline today uses an apostrophe S for the plural If you can get past this sad reflection on the American education system and what passes for acceptable the content is passable             Dumb writers SkiRun03

I ve always had good luck with this app This app deserves better reviews from Washoe county residents hands down Let s factor in that the RGJ felt the need to charge a 12 dollars a month for digital content Please In today s economy who wants to pay this for local news And they even pulled a free hat stunt and the aces ballpark in exchange for a subscription How can you justify nearly 150 a year for digital content and an aces hat So Hats off to you guys at channel 2 for your services and FREE local news 5 stars from me                     BEST NEWS APP FOR RENO SPARKS Nut skin

Finally months after the other channels put out an app KTVN does I was hoping that KTVNs would be better because of the wait but sadly it s not What s with the logo on every single article I know what app I m using how about a related picture I ll keep the app but I will probably use the others more even though I like channel 2 better         Disappointing Spakass
