Like other people have said below I sent an openfeint challenge and now it closes as soon as openfeint loads which takes about five seconds              Cant play anymore

Clean interface and intuitive gameplayfor the most part but Ill get to that later I like the streamlined retrogreen The shooter relies on up and down vertical movements against enemies scrolling from right to left You cant move other than vertically This is similar to playing Space Invaders along the the yaxis rather than the xaxis The singularlycolored game interface works surprisingly well The cool soundtrack encourages an upbeat tempo Given the games sophisticated simplicity this is a cool throwback retrofitted for todays gamers Good stuff A few recommendations I hope the devs can consider 1 Move the Pause functionality to the topleft side rather than the right Given that we need to tap the screen to shoot there is a tendency to hit pause often 2 When the shooter appears perhaps the icon and its bullets can be red or yellow At times it is hard to track the oncoming bullet because it blends in with everything else causing me to inadvertently collide with the bullet 3 Smoother more up and down responsive controls 4 Shifting backgrounds as we progress through levels ie images or just plain colors              Retrofitted Cool

If you tilt too much the orientation flips and messes up the game Definitely needs settings        Needs fixed orientation

First of all this game has very very pool graphic everything is GREEN Maybe that is a socalled art style but I really dont like it it hurt my eyes I am fine with the tilting control of the game but the jerky movement of the character really make me think this game is not smooth If the game dont has nice graphic it must has nice game play Sadly it dont has both The game play is TOO simple neither relaxing nor challenging It only has the quality of a free game I dont think it worth 99 cents     Sorry but one star

I used to love this game until the update They removed OpenFeint support They removed the shooter ship that used to come out every so often Now ita just this mindless game you play until your finger hurts from tapping the screen No stragey needed Just go back and forth tapping the screen and boom you gey 3000 points and wonder why you waited ao long to just kill yourself I will most likely not play this again Sad really because this was one of the few games i played often Wonder if I can still get the old version back Hmmmmm     Wow Game went from being one of my fav to boring

Wish I could give this crap zero stars Its horrible Desperately needs calibration and how about those state of the art graphics there Wow Lemme tell ya Yeah Dont waste your time     Awful

Dont let the simplistic graphics fool you this is a very solid action shooter that feels old school but plays new school Simple controls easy to play and the graphics glow beautifully This is definitely one of my favorite games                 Amazing retro game

The WORST tilt control ever I cant even calibrate it     Wow

There are 100 games on the app store just like this one You stay on one side of the screen and tilt your device up and down to slide up and down the screen The enemies come flying at you from the other side You could sit there close your eyes and just tilt the device up and down and tap the screen Thats it You dont even have to be watching        MEH

Nice game To the loser who said his eyes hurt because its green get that fixed or even turn your brightness down Use your brain dumb Anyway the game is good but minus a star because the landscape view changes when you tilt too much              Not Bad

Specifically tilt calibration and sensitivity The range of motion is locked between angled away and flat which is superinconvenient I also had times where the game showed spotty touch and tilt recognition The game is quite addictive nevertheless The look is one of the best approximations of vector graphics Ive seen on any platform Powerups are great and enemy patterns are always random A few tweaks would make this an instant classic              Needs options

Everything was fine but then it started crashing and now I cant play it anymore fix this and it might have something to do with sending a challenge via open feint                 Great game but

I found the controls to be fairly accurate and I like the retro feel The icon is very different yet has this annoying little green leaf at the top that ruins the effect           Very cool

Good game does need calibrating but other than that I like this game             

099 is worth it and a great deal Simple shooter with tilt control for movement and thumb to fire No lag time with graphics I was reluctant to buy this based on a few reviews but took a chance with this price I think if you are looking for strategic shooters this isnt the game for you This is a retrostyled shooter that is a great way to pass some time and not a waste of a buck              Worth it

kind of like asteroids graphics are plain and simple but they looks great on the retina display iphone 4 game is fun and addicting totally worth the 99 cents XD                 fun stuff

Has potential but control is sloppy Fix it and ill rate higher Bit trip has the same type control and its spot on so there is no excuse for this     Poor controls

The game does need calibration When it is flat and you are trying to move your ship back up the screen the game has the tendency to think its now upside down and the picture flips over Other then that its a good game and worth the money              Only one issue
