I wouldnt recommend this app unless you are good at drawing It does not have a good undo button Also I have repeated problems of the app quoting unexpectedly           Problems

Please update It crashes everytime I use it     Crash

I use to love this app but now It cant even load the first picture UGHH     Ugh

The app seems ok but everytime I try to use a photo in a layer it keeps crashing Ive even tried rebooting my iPhone and I keep getting the same outcome Very disappointing        Crashing

Layers has been around for ages and its still one of my favorite painting apps The stacked layer view is more intuitive than anything else Ive seen You can also make multiple photo layers and then erase parts of them so its great for collages and stuff                 Still one of my favorites

Got this app today for a whopping 5 and have been able to use it exactly never Is the purpose of the app to crash every single time you use it If so five stars I want a refund     Is it possible to give ZERO stars

At one time Layers was a fantastic app for compositing multiple pictures together and making basic Photoshoplike edits ie brushes masking and setting layer transparencies right on the iPhone That all changed when iOS 6 came out Layers no longer works at all it instantly crashes as soon as I make any attempt to save a photo there Based on what Im reading online everyone is having the same problems And it seems that the developers arent acknowledging or addressing the issue and have no plans to do so in the future Sorry I prefer using apps made by developers who care about their end users Ill have my 57 megs back thanks     Layers was great until iOS 6 came out

My favorite app no longer works since ios6 update HELP              Please fix

One of my most used and favorite apps I always recommend it to artists However Im having the same issue Crashing in iOS6 when adding a photo layer Fix I beg of you                 Still gets the stars

This is definitely one of the best art apps u will find Has lots of cool features that most iArtists tend to want in an art app I also recommend Art Studio my personal fav well worth the price                 Love this

Love this app been a 2yr user lots of great updates but still some bugs it crashes and I loose progress everytime a badge pops up while Im working on a picture                 Neverland

Especially on iPhone 4 Tha animations of layers and zoom and everything is spectacular It feels even more intuitive than photoshop All I could ask for is more advanced layers like layer masks and the like                 Runs amazing

Im not a very talented artist but I love this app Having multiple layers really helps when Im sketching over a photo or just want to draw without worrying about messing up something else Having different brushes is also really neat Little details and shading are often really difficult in other drawing apps but being able to paint like in photoshop its much easier Id really recommend this to anyone even if youre not an artist                 Just plain good

This app offers much in the name of variety and well Layers I Have Been using this app for about 3 months and heavily at that The only problem I have is that with Moderate use of the smear tool it causes the iPod to umm Turn off and restate              Decent

Ive found Layers indispensable in creating complex images I use it in conjunction with Adobe and Autodesk apps as well as Iris importing work from those apps and editing combing and saving the final product in Layers Ive used it for hours and have only had it crash once One crash is one crash too many of course but quite good compared with most other apps My only consistent complaint aside from the platformdriven 5layer limit is how easy it is to confuse the brush tool with the erasure tool Ive too often discovered after a good deal of work discovered Ive been using a brush when Id forgotten to switch back to the erasure tool Minor point in an overall excellent package              I love this app Almost always

I enjoy this app but it needs an upgrade for iOS 60 Worked great until then Now the app crashes when loading a pic Update the app and Ill give it 5 stars     Needs update

My previous thoughts on this app enabled me to give it 5 stars previously but the lack of iOS 6 support nearly a week after the update has forced me to revise this rating to one star until an update is issued     Needs iOS 6 Support

I like the app easy to use if you are used to paint programs but a very nice image just disolved One layer disappeared into a few chunks Good thing I had sent myself the image first So my advice as soon as you complete an image either sync up or email it to yourself to preserve Need to fix this bug              Layers ate my painting

I used to use this app but i think you should allow more layers blur tools and pressure I like artstdio but i still use this 3           Azii 3

Feature request when creating a new layer from an image allow me to pinch with two fingers to rotate that image                 Fantastic

Im an artist I got my iPhone with little interest in gaming but more hoping to find some cool art apps Boy does Layers hit the spot Easy to use simple yet fulfilling set of tools the layering is of course fantastic Like a mini Photoshop Totally worth the 499 Top drawer                 Wow what a fun app great results

Good concept and good implementation however Eh hem Needs an ios6 update AND biggest complaint Max resolution of 1024 The new iPhone cameras can handle far beyond that which pretty much crushes the resolution on my photos Ive taken I like this app I do but it feels like it was made for an iPhone 3G and then was abandoned Developers Hook us up w some updates yo

On my endless app that mimicks Adobe Photoshop this program offers LAYERS GREAT I love it but ONLY FIVE layers Okay 5 may be enough for some doodlers but Im a webdesigner and since we do not have shapes squares rectangles circles ovals etc I can not do a website mock in color correctly I was looking for an app for making mock business cards This app does that GREAT It may not be photoshop but it is a great art program Do I recommend it YES Can I make suggestions Yes 1 Can we bump it to at least 10 layers The work around of flattening it okay but Id like to keep some layers separate if possible The BEST part is I CAN make the mocks though only as crude if I forget the limited layers and THEN flatten them to make room for another layer and then Export it TO PSD for use in Photoshop This is a great application Thank you J Benjamin Gotow Good job good job              Good App Photoshop Not
