Nothing but frustration The sync is WAYYYY off on the same app to my iPhoneiPad and Mac Ive used this for a full year but I have to throw in the towel and say its not worth it Ill tag make journal entries on one device and then find some of them missing or not there on the other devices I love the of resources but I want something that I can trust my information will be 100 there I feel all my notes were a waste of time and I lost all of them        This could be greatest but isnt

They may have had a few glitches lately getting everything updated but I still prefer this app over any other LDS scripture app                 Still the best

This App was always at the front of the pack What is possible on mulitiple free church Apps is consolidated nicely in this single App with extra features In spite of the routine crashes described by others LDS Scriptures is worth the occasional crash usually brought on by memory shortages in my case Although I see in the description that the Hymns have been changed to web pointers for the church website this is a giant step backwards and doesnt make sense why those of us who purchased and have used the App for years have now been downgraded to a lesser version It causes me to wonder what other content will be migrated to web based content The whole purpose of having a 150mb App sucking up space on my iPad is so I DONT have to use the internet for content Im starting to think that using the automatic update feature isnt such a great idea All in all I still give the App 3 stars for its usefulness and overall quality Its still worth the price especially if you are a new user who wont know what the rest of us are missing           Loosing ground

This app was at the front of what a scripture app could be As of late the updates dont add much When they do add something they want to charge more I use to us this app all the time Now I just stop by and browse to see what is new The app is good I just dont see that it has keep any value           OK App

Was the best scripture app now its just a great one There are a few bugs that Im sure will be fixed in a future update The downloads section crashes the app whenever opened but it doesnt affect the usefulness of the app at all just doesnt get it the 5th star Great app and has all the info you could probably want Though I wish it had the missionary library like Jesus the Christ etc man so much information that Id love to cross reference in there on this app Please make it so              Its good but still a bit buggy

After the update the app crashes when opening It is completely unusable After several reinstalls it will open once in while and crash quickly but now most things take you to the LDSorg website Thats what Safari is for why would I need to pay money to do the same thing It WAS great Now its pointless Not worth any money No way to contact support I would not recommend this app to anyone     Wont open anymore

I have used this product from the beginning You can do anything to learn teach share and expound the great truthes of the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ and His Prophet Joseph Smith It is the Best of the Best                 Me

With the older versions I would have occasional random crashes particularly when using older devices or when using lots of tabs but with this version crashes are far more often and while doing the simplest things eg instance swiping right or left to change chapters I really do hope that the authors get all the bugs resolved as this really was the best lds scripture app around and would love to use it again        Lots of crashes

This app used to be my go to my one and only source Now its complete junk You HAVE to have an Internet connection now to use the Hymnal which just is not possible in every ward This used to be an offline feature A lot of features have now gone this way where you are required to have to have Internet connection and its just annoying Why even bother downloading this app if I can just go to LDSorg This isnt even an app anymore its just a wrapper     Total Downgrade

This app used to be my anchor when it came to church and personal study Not a my longer The lesson builder and personal study sub apps now longer function even after I repurchased them Now longer is there a means to contact anyone for assistance guess they realized the mess they had concocted Oh well good bye old friend     Death of an old friend

This used to be my favorite scripture ap due mostly to the great reading plan Since the most recent update the reading plan doesnt work It wont record the chapters Ive read and although there is a back arrow there is no longer a forward arrow so move forward when I read scriptures from another source Seems now I have to pay another 199 as an inap purchase to activate a reading plan Really Highly Disappointed     What happened

I have loved this app for years now but now the church magazines crash the app All of this year I have had trouble with the PDF content eg Joseph Fielding Smith manual Ensign etc           Stop crashing

This app went from the Best to one of the worst The scripture portion is still great but all of the other services that were changed with the recent update release are terrible If you plan on using them with an apple product you will be disappointed Many of the features require Flash Player as you know apple does not support this software I strongly recommend to the developer to revert back to the original version I wish I had never updated to the new version     Do Not Buy

One star at the moment I downloaded this while at church today I purchased the lesson builder and an hour later it still asks me to unlock it The library crashes often I just tried to log into my account from the app and it crashed I just paid 17 with the add on and Im extremely disappointed I uninstalled the app and reinstalled with the same results I restarted my iPad three time thinking maybe there was something hanging Please fix or refund my money I bought this app with big expectations of lesson planning and study but Im totally disappointed This is one big buck app that needs some major fixing that should never have needed Running IOS 83 on a 16GB iPad miniwifi     Crash Boom Bam

Firstlet me say I have had this app for years Originally bought it as a replacement for Yanceyware Those who have used digital devices long before smartphones will understand It has been wonderful through the years However the quality and support continues to decline Now some content is internet based You click a link and without internet connection or a slow internet you can not access the content Weak Sync is supposed to be automatic however it does not sync among devices now I purchased this app for my iphone ipad and desktop so that content could easily be sycnd among devices 3 days have gone by and still no sync of information from ipad to iphone The sync now feature has been removed from ipad Why Why cant we have a sync now Support has vanished Their webpage has been revamped so that you cant contact them It is useless information Click on the app support link or Report a Problem link and you will find that it takes you to an outdated banner with no way of contacting them or reporting a problem Just a page of what is going to happen in the past POINTLESS Finally the my content doesnt work All of my yanceyware content that I uploaded has disappeared They advertise yanceyware content A glitchright Nope I tried to re upload my yanceyware content and it says it it unavailable I HAVE PAID A LOT OF MONEY FOR THIS APP FOR THE VARIOUS PLATFORMS AND UPGRADE FEES HE USED TO CHARGE THE FEATURES THAT MADE THIS APP UNIQUE AND WORTH THE MONEY SPENT HAVE BEEN SLOWLY TAKEN OUT OF THE APP ITSELF IT IS NOW NO DIFFERENT FROM THE AWFUL FREE APPS THAT ARE AVAILABLE DONT PURCHASE UNTIL HE RESTORES THE FEATURES AND CUSTOMER SUPPORT THAT ARE WORTH THE PRICE OF PURCHASE     NO LONGER WORTH THE MONEY

It is my go to for scripture study but really upset when opened to sing hymn and WHAT NO MUSIC TO FOLLOW with words Seriously says have to download adobe flash with neither iPad nor iPhone 6S supports Hoping there is a fix           Lds scriptures

I was pleasantly looking forward to using the Lessons Builder feature Alasit is full of bugs The lessons that I did manage to get in there have now all disappeared App crashes repeatedly Lots of work to make this app usable Syncing doesnt seem to be working Emails to support are answered but its always were working on it or in a future release Ive also got the Mac version its a little better but without it syncing to the iPad correctly whats the point Ive long since switched to the Churchs official app What a waste of moneyfor both apps Do yourself a favor and avoid this app     Leaves Much to Be Desired

I used to love this app Used it all the time but since the update I have not been able to download the Spanish language settings It crashes 100 of the times when I try to open it I wish I could get my money back Eater fix the problems or just take the entire app from the Apple Store Not reason to have an app that does not work     Languages settings not working

I purchased this app several years ago because the Churchs free app was not really robust enough I used it happily until it stopped updating due to some legalcopyright issues I switched back to the churchs free app in the interim and found that it has all the features I wantedneeded except the printed music for the hymns Plus the links to videos and conference talks worked much better in the churchs app When this app FINALLY updated I found that it was identical to the churchs free app No music to the hymns So I guess my question is why would you pay money for an app that is essentially identical to a free app from the original contents source     Dont waste your money

I couldnt be more disappointed Several months ago when this app and the support for it disappeared from the App Store I was broken hearted and angry Okaylegal issues resolvedI thought hooray And then the letdown I downloaded the app to my iPad and found the developer now wants another 400 for the reading plan and lesson developer modulessomething that used to be included I thought I caught a lucky break when I clicked on the upgrades and was notified I dont have to pay again since I purchased them previously Unfortunately they dont work They are now just dead links in the appno way to use them even after several reinstalls And there is no direct support from within the applicationno way to simply reach out to the support folks Then I find I cant download it to my iPhone because the developer now wants full price for each device you put it on What Even Microsoft stopped this practice because its just bad business and it alienates customers It seems greed has taken hold of this company so now I am back to the free version from the church What a bummer     What a DISAPPOINTING RETURN

I took this from 5 stars to 1 The hymn book no longer has the visual notes I didnt get this app to be directed to an internet page with text only I didnt get this app to have a glorified hyperlink for other books too Please do what is necessary to get this so you can legally restore it to how you had it the way it worked best and made me choose it over the other scripture apps out there This is intolerable     Not as good as it was

I loved this scripture app so much all the other ones I tried I didnt like This was worth every penny Then they did a new update and you have to have Internet to see the hymns pain in my butt I liked the old format with the hymn book where you could see the music along with the words And I use to be able to download the ensign friend and that Now I cant even find where to do that The upgrade made this go from a 5 to a 3 That makes me mad the free app is looking better to me now           Update no good

This app has the ability to have multiple books open at once a truly rare advantage The program has many advantages for reading from color invert color font text size with multiple books to choose Thank you                 Best Multipurpose App

I like many was excited for the return Was I wrong Doesnt sync between devices I even paid for each device Bug with the highlighter repeating multiple times Can get it to highlight at other times No way to contact support Its been a month since you secured the copyrights Fix some of the bugs Created a method to report bugs Develop a support page and then respond                 Disappointed

I love this app It makes reading searching and studying the scriptures so easy I like it much better than the Churchs version              LDS Scripture

Still my favorite scripture app both ipad and iphone Seems like support has slowly decreased over time Kinda like they got it up and running fairly well polished then provides the minimum to keep it coasting App does have several bugs that have been around long term for example when adding a note to a verse there is no save option actually its there but not visible due to background color This bug has been around and reported for nearly a year now              Still the Best

I just love this app My favorite feature is that you can make tags is the scriptures conference talks and make your own personal topical guide of your favorite scriptures I am not great at memorizing references but now I can go to my tags and quickly find any of my favorite scriptures in seconds                 Awesome app

This new update is terrible Its 30 and wont let me log into my account The hymns now send you to some website instead of the actual music This used to be a good app but not anymore     Needs work

If writing a negative review always says nickname is taken then I have to start over Will not send if rating one star Tried on two occasions to ask for help resolving a PDF issue on iPad Mini No reply Poor customer service Will try to send this negative message by rating with four stars because it wont send with the real rating of one star Picked ridiculous nickname so it cant always say nickname taken to prove my point              PDF

I have enjoyed using this App Yes it has its frustrations but having the scriptures at your fingertips the ability to get to a book and verse with such ease and mark themthis I love I am willing to stick with this program and report any bugs that I may find just to have the convenience of the scriptures always with me Happy to be the guinea pig for a while              Really Enjoy the APP

This is definitely the Cadillac of scripture applications with very easy to navigate layout syncing across all devices etc I am sure we dont know half of what was involved in lawsuits and we are all glad that is behind the company Now it is time to differentiate the application from the free app from the church There is still great value in what is there but you might also consider a paid for upgrade to keep the business model working but it will need to be significant features Many are complaining about the hymns and you might want to embrace the church hymn app and just go directly to that instead of to the web with words only           Glad you are back please fix a few things

Id rather contact the developer regarding the issues but they have absolutely no support The latest problem is the crashing as the app is starting As such it is useless An ongoing bug is in tagging scriptures For example a verse was tagged with prayer so that whenever the topic is looked up that will be one that is referenced However the app will repeat the tag name prayer upwards of 25 to 50 times thus filling the page with the tag name That problem has been going on for quite some time but without any support there is no way to let them know of the bug     Keeps crashing irritating bug and no support

I had the original App on my iDevices so as far as this app costing any money to get I just redownloaded the application from the app store as I had already purchased it no cost to me at all on any of my iDevices As far as all the crashing that everybody is talking about I havent had sufficient time to use this application to notice any problems So the jury is still out on that one Thirdly if you compare this applications data to its competition the Gospel Library the initial downloaded file from the AppStore is 393 MB for the Gospel Library and LDS Scriptures uses 157 MB Perhaps there are some problems with the program crashing but I have not experienced any yet If I do Ill make a follow up here I would like to also say that if you want to get the most out of this application check out the You Tube How to video From there you will see just how robust and useful this program really is I doubt if anyone has had time to post a new one You Tube for this updated version But give it a look anyway A lot of the things are the same across the Versions Again I have experienced no problems with this update app so far But if I do I will address it                 No problems yet

Update 3 Still charging the same for less functionality Yes I get it There was a lawsuit So lower the price AND make a universal app If you dont then you are just greedy And if you are a member you know thats just not right Im very disappointed I purchased all three versions iPhone iPad and Mac by this dev Sync is just awful way too slow Do not buy Update number 2 After months and months the app just now finally came back online at the App Store However several of the features have been removed For example you can no longer download The Ensign Use the free LDS Church apps They may not sync the syncing between my iPhone iPad and my Mac versions of this app sink at a snails pace but at least theyre free and they work and theyre updated on a regular basis Update First of all the dev claims that they cannot write a universal app that runs on the iPhone and the iPad Hmmmm Many other devs have no problem with writing universal apps So to use this on my iPhone and my iPad I have to buy it twice Thats 30 Then if I want the Mac OS X version you have to pay another 10 Now were up to 40 for one app to run on all my devices Oh did I mention that the app crashes EVERY SINGLE TIME I use it Youre getting a lot of s dev Time to clean up your app Every single time I read The Book of Mormon this app crashes Every time It also happens when I listen to it Crashomatic comes to mind Finally if you want this app on your iPhone AND your iPad you will PAY TWICE Seems that the developers are a bit greedy Most developers would create a universal app that works on both devices Please fix this app so I can at least feel that my 30 wasnt totally wasted     This app has problems Crashes a lot Features removed

I downloaded this app years ago then removed it due to crashing issues 3 years later I installed the app and was blown away by the great improvements this app has The developer a really cool guy with customer support invested a lot of features which makes this app worth the cost I found this app to be superior than the official LDS app I even paid for the additional premium features because they were worth it satisfied customer here                 Years later still the best scripture app

I have spent lots of money on these apps over the years I purchased them on iTunes for iPad and iPhone I purchased it for my computer and my kindle Instead of adding features the features are being removed The splash page is low resolution No sync between devices Buggy I hope there is some HUGE update in the works that makes these apps worth the price I have paid over and over     Dissappointed
